i've been watching! pretty cool, but i could do without all the 'dramatic ice cracking sounds' they play every time they show a truck on the ice. running the ice roads was something i always wanted to try during my 'commodity relocation engineer' days, but i never pursued it at the time and i've been off the road for about 12 years now, so i would guess it's unlikely i'll do it now. kinda funny seeing hugh out on the ice and his three drivers sitting in the bar. skydive moncton had an otter on hand last weekend, and as a special bonus, steve curtis and sara bennett were on hand to do some coaching. on one of the jumps, steve lost one of his shoes in the door, at 14000 feet, a mile or so from the dz. it landed back at the dz in front of someone's tent. pretty good spot huh? motorola is coming out with a new, slimmer, bigger screend razr, sometime this month. don't know when the carriers will start offering it though. if it's as tough as my first generation razr, it'll be a good phone. the daytime running lights are not that bright. you can tell they're on, but they don't illuminate much. in most cases, dtl are just your high beams with reduced voltage (or current) sent to them. with my last car, when i pulled the hand brake on, the dtl went off. with my new car, i can't seem to shut them off at all. would suck at a drive in. i had the same sort of luck last year. stuck my head out of the cessna to watch a student exit. i had just stuck the helmet onmy head and didn't do the chin strap. away goes the helmet. since it was lost at 3500 feet and i knew approximately where, i went hunting. found it sitting in the short grass by the side of the runway, not a scratch on it. it was a protec that i was trying out, hadn't even put my dytter in it. if it had been a camera helmet or something expensive, it would have landed in a tree, been struck by lightning, eaten by bears then sunk in the swamp, and probably have a glacier roll over it for good measure. i love my infinity! when i ordered it, i made a mistake with my measurements and ended up with the mlw too long. i sent it back and they had it fixed and back to me in about 2 weeks (at no charge, except for the shipping to them), and that was coast to coast and across the border!

nope, no buttered popcorn. i like them, but in limited quantities. i have pear, peach, toasted marshmallow, raspberry, strawberry jam, peanut butter, red apple, cotton candy and grapefruit. no rasin and biscuit bars though. dammit. i did find some gummi tarantulas. yup. up to version 6.2 now. to the OP, i have 4 computers in the house now, two windows (toshiba laptop and home-built tower) and two macs (a motorola imac and a new intel macbook). the tower is leaving with my daughter when she heads to college, and my laptop is being replaced by a powerbook in the fall. love the mac! the 'ride the slide' cessna exit! *for all the turbine brats, a ride the slide exit is what we do for an intentional unstable exit during student progression. you climb out onto the step facing the back of the plane, squat down with your left hand on the strut and the right on the door frame. you kinda hop off and put your arms out and back a bit (almost a sit) and hold it for as long as you can. feels like sliding down a reaaaalllllly long slide.
