i just got my new xxl mamba, but i don't have my pro dytter in it yet. that said, since the dytter mounts in the ear pad and the bolt in question is attached to the helmet, would it be possible that your ear pad is out of position? would it be possible for you to move the ear pad so that your neptune won't come in contact with the bolt? you know what sucks even worse than the weather? CONTINENTAL AIRLINES!!! first, my flight to florida is canceled. not their fault, i know, it's the weather. but, i go to their website to find out how to reschedule, and it's down. i try calling their 1-800 number (several of them actually) and i'm told that my wait time is approximately 235 minutes. 4 hours!!! i try another number. 15 hours until my trip to florida. that's the good news. mother nature is conspiring against me though. the weather for here overnight and tomorrow. i have a two hour layover in newark, where i'll have to gather my baggage, clear customs, check it all in again and make my connection. if i'm late getting to newark, it might be a long day. if my beer and i make it, look for me at lake wales tomorrow night for a cold one. edited because apparently i'm going to lake wales instead of z-hills. been there, seem that. haven't hit any bridges, but there is one in montreal that i crept under at below walking speed and i could see a little puff of concrete dust fall from the bridge for each rivet on the top of my trailer. new york state overstates clearances by a foot, to account for snow buildup i was told. i've been off the road for about a dozen years now and saw my share of stupid truck drivers, but way more than my share of stupid four-wheelers. it's like anything though, you don't notice the vast majority of vehicles you share the road with because they don't do anything stupid. trucks are big and attract a lot of attention, so when they do something stupid, it's generally pretty spectacular.
