Nice, just from the news. After the columbia incedent. Nasa ordered that an escape system be designed and implemented into the shuttle's. Nasa officials in Florida reported that they dont know if it was installed in columbia. Now the news is trying to contact Houston to see if they know. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

What the fuck is the Internet? Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! -
Is there any escape system on the shuttle? I remember vaguely after challenger, that Nasa wanted something like that installed. Hopefully if their is then maybe, just maybe the crew had time to use it. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Nasa just reported a peice of foam from the external fuel tank broke loose on take off. The flight commander and the engineers on the ground determined that it couldn't have caused damage, but if it did it was extremely minor. Nasa just now reported that the shuttle and crew are lost. Just saw video of the shuttle, you can clearly see a few peices of it. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Im in Florida waiting for the usual boom when the shuttle land's. So I turn the tv on and they are freaking out. No one knows what's happened but lat time they heard anything it was flying over Texas at 12,000mph. And Nasa is reported to not be replying. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Every time? I think I will talk to my good friend Timm Webb today. And see what he say's, he is one of the head designer's from jumpshack. If Jumpshack really does have a reserve system that offers 1.6 second openings every time then they definitely do have the fastest reserve system out there, but I dont see how a normal reserve system can compete with the skyhook design. The catapult was a bad design that didn't work at all. And my point here isn't to argue deployment speed's or anything else I was just trying to let people that couldn't attend the pia know what I saw and was out there. But the skyhook is the fastest cutaway/deployment system out there for now, no one can claim a 1.8 second reserve deployment. Put yourself at 500ft with malfunction, with a catapult or a skyhook you pick which one do you want? I understand if you haven't seen the skyhook to decide, but you must know a lot about it to comment on it. ***Of course it was a single canopy container, why would you need a >reserve for a ground launch blade running flight. Many paragliders use reserves; I guess it would depend on how the course was set up (i.e. if you never get higher than 100 feet, there's no use in having a reserve.) >It basically was a harness with a holding area for your canopy. I was > just letting people know what I saw thats all. But I dont think it had > a spine protector, at least from what I saw. That's too bad. Paraglider harnesses also have these things. I know of at least one jumper (Dan Fairchild) who could have really used a back protector during a blade-running meet. I guess if you want a paraglider harness to blade run, buy a paraglider harness, I didn't build it, just said what I saw. I dont know what a reserve will do for you when your swooping 100 ft off the ground, unless maybe if you had a catapult reserve system you could cutaway and it would save you if for some reason your canopy quit working and you had time to deploy before you hit the ground. But a spine protector does sound like a good idea, except sometimes your protective equipment can hurt you more than not having it, I guess that would be a personal decision, but It sounds like a good idea to me. Boneheads aren't actually made out of 100% carbon fiber. They are mostly fiberglass with an outside layer of carbon for appearance. If you have ever drilled through one you could clearly see its not all carbon. This is definitely a cost issue as carbon is a lot more expensive than fiberglass. Also in something the size of a helmet, carbon fiber and fiberglass isnt going to make much difference in weight. Especially with a wes helmet because he doesn't vacume bag his materials, so most of the weight is resin/filler. Does bonehead claim to be carbon fiber or do they claim to be composite? Lots of usefulness, if you ride your mal to 500ft then cutaway, think about all the people that died in the past few years due to low cutaway's, also the normal range for a reserve deployment is under 3 second's and 1.8 to 3 seconds is a lot of difference in feet. There was test jumps that opened in under 200 ft. ***Javelin did have a good idea, it is a ground launch harness/container for blade running. How was it different? Was it a single canopy system? Did it have a spine/butt protector? Quote Of course it was a single canopy container, why would you need a reserve for a ground launch blade running flight. It basically was a harness with a holding area for your canopy. I was just letting people know what I saw thats all. But I dont think it had a spine protector, at least from what I saw. *** Perhaps its because his interests ly elsewhere, such as having competitions to see who can eat the most ecstasy, falsifying USPA numbers and pissing dropzone management enough to get banned. Quote Making slanderous comment's like this is not only immoral, it is illegal. Acusing someone of partaking inillegal activitie's, especially publicly, can open you up to legal recourse. I think a cypress wont calibrate if it picks up a big variation in height while calibrating anyway. I once had 2 newer jumpers behind me, and one of them asked me to help them. They were trying to turn the one's cypress on while climbing to altitude, and it kept resetting. I let them know how bad an idea this was, and that if he was going to jump it would be without a cypress. When I got to the ground I checked the guy's gear just to see if it was a low battery that kept making it reset, and it counted down to an almost full battery (which I confirmed by the packing data card was a new battery). Later I was told that they make them that way to avoid this situation. Haven't heard it from the manufacturer but it makes sence. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

Good idea, but the whole reason for getting rid of the Velcro is it eats your lines. Why not just use snaps? Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!

skydive Deland offers this 16 a jump if you buy 50 or 100, but if you buy 50 you only have a short time to do them, and 100 you can take as long as you like. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!
