I chuckle when people make assumptions..... I chuckle when other people chuckle. steveOrino

Bill, I didn't say scientist were idiots. I chuckle because if someone says it is scientific they accept it without questions. I chuckle when religous people do the same. steveOrino

I love Jesus' response to a similar question in Luke 13; 1-6 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish." Obviously, Jesus thought it was foolish to always attach divine judgment to bad things steveOrino

I didn't take Josh's reply as a rant. I guess I thought he was given his opinion or best guess at what may cause the difference. Lord knows he's right about what he said. Have you ever seen the people shopping at Walmart (you can't share an aisle with many of them) or eating in an "all you can eat" buffet? steveOrino

You too, Lori? I had a blocked central vein on my left eye a couple years ago. Totally idiopathic. I wish I knew why. But I have adapted.

OMG! A scientific study can't be wrong, can it? Gimme a break. Lemmings! I'm not saying it is wrong -- in fact I believe it most likely accurate. But I can't help but chuckle as remember all the "scientific" studies over the years that promoted everything from low fat, low carbs, eat nuts & oatmel and you'll live longer, blah, blah, blah). steveOrino

Mom has been gone a long time, and even though my wife is a good enough cook to have her own TV show, no one makes an apple pie like Mom did! Made from scratch with a latticed dough top. mmmmmmmmmmm!

Why? I'll admit, as with all military shows/movies they pack too much in, or at least never show the hum drum such as the debriefing periods after Ops -- but who would watch that? While I was not in the Delta Force I was on a Green Light team in SF (when Blue Light was the predecessor to Delta) and I think many of the scenarios ring very true. steveOrino

What do you think of the show? I really like it, except the "home fire" stuff. Any other SF guys watch this show? steveOrino

Motorcycle guys/girls: where's the best place to get a basic bike?
steveorino replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
Cycle trader is good. A used Harley 90s up will hold a good resale value. Just don't use Ebay. My neighbor got burned big time. One exception to that is some Cycle shops advertise on Ebay. Call them to check the bike out. The Dyna I bought by calling a Cycle store who was selling it on Ebay. The Fat Boy was bought from a friend. steveOrino -
That is my bet. Especially the second time. steveOrino

I thought the same thing, but I no longer let reality ruin my television enjoyment. After filming the freefall portion of a recent Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, I discovered even reality TV is far from reality. steveOrino

A new toon is up -- see I didn't die. When will the next one be or when will the ROAD TRIP end? I dunno. I started another Masters program (counseling) and my time is used up. I'll try and update every now and then. steveOrino
