    I get up Mon - Fri at 5:30 a.m. to workout (treadmill and weights) at a health club before I go to work. I'm tired, but I look and feel better. ADICE form old guy (51) Start working out when you're young and keep it up. I worked out until I hit 40 then blew it off. It's hard making up for lost time. steveOrino

    I should hit jump # 1000 in a week - 10 days. What should I do? Here are some info to help you decide. 1) I jump video at a one cessna DZ. 2) I have over 750 video jumps. I'd rather video a 3 way RW than be the 4th in a RW jump. 3) I can sit very well, but there are few freeflyers at our DZ close to my fall rate. 4) 7 attempts at my SCR but no cigar (I've been in on all of them, but someone was always out) plus, no guarantees for another cessna) 5) I can't go to a bigger DZ as I work at ours I wanted to video my wife doing a tandem with another videographer videoing me videoing her, but she won't jump. I thought about asking another relative to jump. 2 of my kids have 2 haven't (one, like his mom, won't!) Any cool ideas? steveOrino

    They had a small faction representing themselves at Specialist Quinton's funeral in Sapulpa, OK. I had made my mind up that if I saw them I would simply approach them and remind them, that men like Brian died to give them their right to protest. (no punching them out as I pondered in other threads) By the time the funeral was over they were no where in sight. Perhaps it was the 100 or so Patriot Guard that made them to decide to move, or more likely it was self preservation. I think they may have realized when 2000 people lined the streets waving flags and saluting the funeral procession, that perhaps Oklahoma was not a good place to pull their BS. A lot of pick ups with guns in the racks here. Either way,I never saw them. I'm glad. My best intentions may have been hard to keep. steveOrino

    Take your AFF at SDA. Spend the extra money on gear once you graduate AFF. A far as weather, OK is hot but very good (low winds) in Summer. FL isn't exactly cool. SDA is open 7 days a week all year around and yes, we jump most every week -- Also, you'll learn to spot at SDA. If you are going to be jumping C-182 in OK - that is a good skill to have. Let me know if you decide to jump at SDA. I look forward to meeting you. steveOrino
