    OK, I don't mean to change the subject, but I didn't see anything in that article about Ronson wanting to keep Lohan sober. All I saw was that Ronson is a "professional partier," but nothing about either of them being sober. (Did I miss something?)

    Tina Fey did a good job of mimicking Palin's annoying nasaly voice. But she didn't really capture the defensive attitude that always seems to come across when Palin speaks.

    McCain's pulling strings to keep his (adult) wife from going to jail after she stole drugs from a medical charity and had prescriptions written in other people's names is a little bit different than Obama experimenting with drugs as a youth. But I wasn't saying that I hold that against McCain. I was just curious what Mike thought about the situation since he is so concerned about a college paper that Michelle Obama wrote so many years ago.

    Speaking of potential First Ladies... How do you feel about Cindy McCain's drug addiction and the fact that she stole drugs from a charity?

    Sadly, I think you are incorrect there. They were interviewing a woman at the RNC who was a registered D, big Hillary supporter, but has now decided to go R since Palin is on the ticket. And I doubt she's the only one out there.

    Yeah, tell me about it. I keep trying to find some naughty Joe Biden pictures, a sex tape or something, but there is nothing to be found.

    That's not what he said, and no, he won't drop out to let Hillary in. And, considering what his actual comment was in response to, I'd say he was just being careful not to say anything negative about Clinton because they need to keep as many of her supporters as possible.

    Good point. But damnit, now I'm back to not knowing who to vote for! Guess I'll just do the smart thing and vote for the VPILF.

    Actually, I think the biggest/best reason NOT to vote for Obama is that the Daily Show and Colbert's show just won't be as funny with Obama/Biden in office as they will be with McCain/Palin in office.

    I agree that it's a family matter. And the same can be said about her son who is going to Iraq and her baby with Down's Syndrome. But if she wants to use those things for political gain, then she can expect all "family matters" to be on the table.

    One among many. Well, you know, with half the talk about Sarah Palin being about how "hot" she is, it's got me sizing up the candidates in a whole new way. And if I had to pick the most "doable" of the bunch, I think I'd choose Biden. He seems to be strong, smart, and sexy, with just the tiniest bit of a sadistic streak. (Looking forward to his debate with Palin.)

    This is what Biden had to say about abortion: Without hearing a word from Palin, I'm currently assuming that she feels it is OK to tell everyone else that they have to accept her religiously based view that life begins at conception and that abortion should therefore be illegal in any case.
