Good on ya man.... Still waiting foe mine to come,, guess I could call and see if they've issued a # yet!!!!I think its cool how you could look back in these forums and see when we were saying " yeah AFF in 3 weeks or 2 months or whatever".... and now we're saying "yeah I'm now a licenced skydiver!!!!!" Just think what this site will be like when we're saying "yeah I just got my PRO rating!!!!" nice job omri jason
  3. Well.. there goes the statistics...we can now say that skydiving does not just take lives it also creates life! OR aids in the creation of!!!!! jason

I met a guy at our boogie just this last saturday that just recieved his AFF Jumpmaster rating....hes only 22 yrs old!!!!. I was wondering if anyone knows any J/M younger? jason
  7. I am by no means an expert on this but I am thinking along the lines of F-111 conapies compared to zp. Zp's slip through the air easily for, so if you think of that in terms of a pilot chute, that chutes soul purpose is to deploy your main canopy. Thats the last thing I think I would want to be "slipping" through the air. Where F-111 will grab the air and get your main out quick. I dont know I'am I wrong in this thinking? jason

It might be a tumor..........IT'S NOT A TUUUUUUMA!!!!!.. sorry man hope you feel better! jason
  9. Look at it this way... your going out that door regardless, now whether you go out gracefully or you totally blow the exit, as long as you got a chute on and you know how to get stable you'll be alright. When I first did a one handed hold on the strut and another hand on the other jumpers leg I thought holy shit I'm going to get blown right off of here. We completed the jump succesfully and I told the other jumper I was kinda freaked out cause off my grip he said no big deal you were going to jump anyway,, if you blew the exit we'd do it again!!! Just remember its the fear that makes it fun!!!!!! Good luck jason
  10. I'm not trying to get deep here or anything,,but I was just thinking that its weird that when you jump out of a plane you feel really no sence of falling and even though your traveling at like 120mph down give or take its not til you fall into someones burble that you go "oh shit I'm falling... this aint good" and really feel a drop half way into your jump. Yes this can be fun to do,,,but not when your trying to build a 12 way and three jumpers go low right under the base, then the whole damn thing collapses onto itself. I dont know... just a thought running through my head! jason (A- I want my #)
  11. The exits were awsome....just pushing people out the door. I mainly took rear middle in the door I guess you would call it. I was jumping with a lot of experienced jumpers so I flew base as often as I could,,, although there were enough collaspes that would force us all to fly back in to formation,,so either way I learned a TON about flying my body and matching fall rates!!!!Speaking of tube exits,,, I got invited to do one on sunday but I was alllllll tapped out of money it sounds like a blast though!! jason
  12. Barely!!!!!. It depends,,,,, is it a cold day or a hot day? I guess I shouldnt complian though, not everyone lives 5min away from there DZ
  13. We had aa super otter from arzona for the weekend. Got 9 jumps outta it. One 12way (well attemted 12way), one 6way, 0ne 9way, one 2way, two 3ways, and three 4ways.(would you like fries with that?) It was one hell of a learning experience!! I just dont see how I wiil be able to go back to jumping out of a cesna again. Any way that was the first time I've ever seen one let alone jump one. Now however I feel like someone picked me up and body slammed me. I know I know only 9 jumps but what can I say ...I'm a puss. Hoipe everyone else had an incredible weekend...of coarse when your jumping there always incredible!!!!! jason
  14. Took me till jump 12 to kick those damn door demons in the ass!!!! Best punt I ever made jason

COme on now ...lets show our wives some respect. They're not whuffo's theey're WHYFFO's (yuk yuk yuk ) jason
  20. I just got done taking my "A" test and all I would say is read it all. I thought the same thing thinking Damn they could pull 20 outa anywhere from the SIMS ( no you dont get them for the test). But the way I look at it is that if you read everything for the "A", The B C &D should be refresher reading becuase except for a couple of sections, you've pretty much read the whole SIMS. Good luck!! Jason P.S Listen to what Gogs said about what to cover
  21. when I went through my AFP training, the JM told us to pull BOTH handles In a total container lock ,or a hard pull. However once off student status, the chioce was ours but we were told that if we did change the proceedure to make sure to go over and over and over in your head what you are going to do. Just like any emergency proceedure you gotta do what is best for you and what you were taught BUT if you change your proceedure, DRILL DRILL DRILL and then DRILL some more on it! I've drilled myself to just pull the silver in a total mal, but since I havnt had any yet, I'm just trusting myself that that is what I would do. jason
  22. Tell ya what.. I bought directly from my DZO who is a dealer for most brands and I got a New talon2 multi-flex harness(saved $300), New 181raven dash-m reserve (saved $250) and a PD-170 w/150 jumps on it (saved $1000,killer deal) for $1823 Less than what I would have paid had I gone through a manufactor!!! I have all the paper work and booklets for both the container and chute, and warrenty cards, so if I evr had a problem I can stil send it to the manufactor for repairs. YOu cant beat that. In other words check out your DZ!!!! jason
  23. In the vidoe BREAKAWAY John Lebanc says that an out of sequence deployment(total line dump) can break risers, knock out the jumper, basicaly really mess you up if its bad. I'd call that a mal Thanxs for the input on the stows though. just something that was on the back of my mind. Good to know they should be alright!! jason
  24. Hey thanks everyone for all the congrats!!!!!everyone else I've told is just like .....Oh.....neat....(whuffos) At least we all have people here to share in our excitement!!
