Speaking of tits!! I'll tell you whats bullshit, our pilots our sexiest!!! I've offered both of them time and time again to show my tits for more altitude...but noooooo that only works for all you skychicks!! whats up with that jason

  5. Kinda singing the song in my head and yeah that works for a pretty good jump song...just remember..you can love your J/M,,,just dont loooooove your J/M (asuming it male) J/K w/ ya
  6. Ok..I'll bite first.. Hello my name is jason, and I chose not to jump with a RSL system. I chose this because I make it a point to go over my Emer proceedures evertime I'm at the DZ. Plus on the way to ALT it is my tradition to pratice my proceedures at least 3 times before leaving the A/C!!! Also I am pulling at 3000 ft therefore I would like to give myself a sec or two to get as stable as possible before deploying my reserve with a hard deck being set for no lower than 2000 ft. This is what I do. It may not be good for all but it works for me. However note that I havnt had a cuttaway yet! next.... jason A-38658

    ugh

I'll tell you what ..I was scared shitless when that door opened and it took till about jump 13 to get over that. Now I'm like a dog in a car,, roll that window down so I can stick my head out. You need to figure out what it is your afraid of . Handling Emer-proceedures, falling, or what. You either need to go to the DZ and DRILL DRILL DRILL or just quit. If its not for you then thats fine, nobody here is going to lose any respect for you. Hey you treid it and it just wasnt for you. Thats more than what approx 6. some odd billion other people can say. But if you want it GO FOR IT and quit beating yourself up. Plus when I come to Mich I'm going to need someone to show me the ropes there in hastings. My parents live only 30min away so you can bet one of these days I'll be out there. Hope you get over your demons and good luck what ever you decide! jason
  8. I've only jumped three diff containers but outta those three (and not to be bias) the best I thought was the Talon 2 Multiflex that I bought. Wide leg straps and rings on the chest strap and leg straps make for a comfortable ride not only in the air but on the way up to altitude (god I sound like a salesman). Anyway it works great for me. jason A-38658
  9. Way to go michele!! Now you can really taste free FLight on your own!!! jason

I'm not sure if calling discrimination on paying wise, physically wise, or both> Payment wise its not fair to other jummpers that they cant go up becaue you need to reserve all the room for one person, so if someone is that big they should pay for the extra slots they take up! but like I said before we have some BIG jumpers at our DZ (very good divers I may add) that we have know problems filling a full load on the cessna,s. But If you (you being used as a general term) are that big to take up two slots, than it becomes a safty issue. Just like tandems. Most DZs have a weight limit. Are you going to call them on disrimination because of it. Hell no, thats a safty issue! I'm sorry If I sound rude, I'm trying to go about this in a polite way but if you are over weight Thats not my problem. I didnt put you there. I have a guy at my work that really wants to go jumping that weighs 310lbs. I told him straight up you need to lose 110lb. OUr planes cant support that big of a jumper nor do we have the gear. Sometimes the truth hurts but I didnt make up the truth> it comes out all on its own. Maybe that would be a good insentive to get into better shape. Again dont mean to hurt anyones feeling but thats just how I see it. jason

Heres my worthless opinion. In the case of our DZ where all we have are cessna's take the 182, if you can get the plane off the groung with 4 jumpers then each pays for a single ticket, but if you have a load with where the plane cant take off unless there is only three because of a large person than I think that person should pay for the open slot. However we have a couple of very large jumpers at our dz and have know problem fitting everyone in. SO for someone to be so large they take up two slots the question then becomes our they physically fit to be jumping? jason
  12. Hey buddy , glad to here your up and around, did ya get some good pain meds?. so whats up with your Utah trip. You still coming to Ogden or you just going to stay home and relax for a while? I take it your casted for at least 6 weeks huh. Anyway good to here you doing ok! jason
  13. Hey sinister, Damn dude sorry to here about your accident. GLad that your doing good though and keeping up high spirits. YOu got a couple of awsome friends looking out after ya. Thats great that your ready to get back on that horse though. Jsut take your time man...the sky isnt going anywhere (well maybe in 5 billion years or so). Lets us all know how your doing as soon as you can . Blue skys jason
  14. I guess I'm going to be bias here being a skydiver and all but I dont get why or how someone would want to go through a 4-6 hr class just to make one jump and then walk away. I mean good on them for wanting to understand our sport , but man how could you stop there. I'm all for people coming in and spending 15min of training and then doing a tandem and saying wow that was cool...whats next on my things to do list. But to go through all that training...I dont know diff strokes for diff folks!!! At least they know why we all love this sport! (or think we're just plain CRAZY jason
  15. Hey phastasphuk, I have the same set up on my pilot for my PD170 and was told the same thing. To give a couple seconds to get some speed before deploying on hop n pops. I,ve done a couple already and have had no problems. One person tryed to argue with me "well what if the plane is going down at like 3000 or 2000ft?" I kinda got cocky and told him " gee..I dont know about your rig but mine came stock with a reserve!" jason
  16. Althought it is always important to no where everyone is around you I was always taught that low man has the right of way therfore it is the responcibility of the high man to get out of your way. Although it is good to check your space you shouldnt have to worry about someone above you. They should be getting out of your way. When I had 22 jumps I was invited to jion in on a 12 way. When it came time to brake I thought holy shit were do I go? There was people all around and below me. And I knew it my responcibility to get away from them. I didnt expect them to have to barrol roll to look for me. They did there job and I did mine and anyone above me did theres and we all landed with NO incedent!!! jason
  17. Sorry Omri but I'm going to have to disagree on this one. If someone is packing my chute and I have a Mal due to a packing error which in this case was a packing error then the packer is the only one to blame. It is the packers responcibility to make sure he/she sees everything!!!! and goes over everything to insure nice proper deployment. Now yes shit will happen and accidents do occur but give me a better reason than "sorry dude....didnt see that!!!" jason
  18. I havnt had a mal yet but I can tell you what I have drill inot my head. IF I pull the pilot chute out of the BOC into the air stream I know to cutaway any MAL. If I have a hard pull and the pilot chute never leaves the pouch I go right for silver. However if I have a hard pull and deploy my reserve as soon as its out I'm reaching for the main pilot to make sure it aint coming out(stuff it back in if it is like half way out). Any way this is just whats drilled in to my head but saying is one thing and doing is another. OF coarse some mal are subject to change depending aon stituation! jason A-38658
  19. A devils angel. Jeeze SIS From wingnuts ANGEL to DEVILS ANGEL....Hey at least your an ANGEL. jason (I like angel food cake)
  20. DOH!!!! I mean football gloves....yeah thats it...sorry! jason A-38658
  21. Hey man,, no worries. I would rather have someone tell me how it is right off the get go than pussyfoot with me about something that can really hurt you or worse! Even though we all dont really know everyone here personally its nice to know that everyone still is concerned for every ones saftey here!! Another reaso this sport ROCKS!!!! jason
  22. Hey whit, thanxs for the advivce!! I dont know if this will make ya feel better but it was a TWO way sit , not a four. And yeah we did rush into it thinking "cool". I'm definatly going to start doing some solos on my own. Its kinda like one of those things that you reaaly didnt know what you did until you did it and then saying to your self "boy that could of been bad". lesson learned!! jason
  23. Hey sis you "raised" a good point. If you think of it skydivng is the same as sex because the more altitude you get the better the jump is were as in sex the more altitude (growth) with the um... well.... you know... the more enjoyable it may be . either way hope you get lots of altitude!!!! jason (damn gutta head)
  24. AHHHH...that makes more sence!! thanxs. So is it airlocks that keep it inflated and stable in turbulance! jason
  25. The SIMS state that if the temp is 40 degrees or colder at altitude the student needs gloves. Me personnaly I dont care if the temp is 30 degrees or 100 degrees. I always wear gloves just for the fact that if I have a bad landing it may save myself from some bad cuts a scrapes!! I also wear NEWMAN brand baseball gloves! jason
