Uhhhhhh........Ditto!! I can see your point, but unfortunatly whuffos are like drunk drivers, druggies, and assholes in a sence... You may not really want to be around them but they'er always going to be there!! Waiting to pounce on you in the dark with there sharp razor teeth and say "WHAT THE F$CK DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!!!!!!" My advice, just break out the pepper spray!! Hey tee my freind at the DZ has a "rocket pop" canopy. I think it looks alright. Maybe you outta sell that name to a few canopy companies......."introducing Icarus's newest canopy..... the GEM 120 in ROCKET POP color's" I'm tellig ya theres some money to be made here!! jason

I know at our DZ if you rent gear and they pack it and you cutaway , you dont pay for anything. As a matter of fact when I was going through my AFP training my JM joked with me and said "hey if you drop your rip cord and dont want to pay the 5.00$ for the lost RC, just cutaway and throw all your handles and you wont have to pay for anything." jason

I know this may sound wierd but I just recenlty saw pictures of my canopy in the air (with me underneath) and reaized the color skeem. 21 jumps on the thing and I never really realized what it looked like in the air. I mean when I deploy it, the only thing I'm looking for is a nice square chute with no problems. Not what colors it is. Then when I pack it I make sure I start with purple, grab pink when counting the 5th (center ) cell ,and end with purple. Other than that I really never looked at the color combination. Now that I've seen it , its kinda perty!! Any way just thought I'd share my idiocies! jason

I've actually tried this manuver only in a two way. heres how it went Exit was great,,,stabled out,,,he did a 360 and redock..I do a 360 and fight to redock...... both of us do backflips.................................................................................................................hey where did he go?????........looking,looking,looking there he is wayyyyyyyy over there. Both make eye contact and wave off. Its was still fun to try ! cant imagine 4 people jason

Our DZ just got a New wings container for sale. Its blue tye dye with a neon type red/pink inlay. Havnt jumped it but sure looks purdy!!!!! jason

I'm at between 50-100 ft when I start my final turn. Depends for me on what angle I'm coming in at. If I need to turn 90 to get into the wind I'll make sure to be a little higher than turning in at like 45. buts that just me. I'm still trying to figure it all out! JUst remember what everyone says...be safe!! jason

I hear ya there tee!! Thats kinda what I have been playing with. I'll come in doing some "S" turns and if the traffic is clear fly in a really low and close base leg and then do an easy 45 to 90 degree turn to pick up a little speed and then surf it in for like you said 15-20 ft. It probably lokks cheesy from the ground picking your knees up to surf 20 ft but so what....I'm having a blast doing it and eventually those little 45 to 90 trns will grow to the big 180 legends!!! What blows my mind is thinking back 3 or 4 years ago. I never once imagined or thought I would ever do anything like this. And now to step back and say hey I'm a skydiver!! I'm no expert but I would put money on that being the reason. I did my first no suit on like jump 29 and I could fly stable but my turns were wobbly my heading was a lot tougher to maintian and like I said earlier couldnt track worth shit. Plus my heading on opening was like 180 off. Right now I'm learning to fly with baggy pants and a T-shirt which gives me a lot better control to fly with other jumpers but if I am jumping in just shorts and t-shirt I jump alone! Or with someone that really knows there shit. jason

Not trying to sound rude but can you explain why you want to change them out. I have a Talon 2 T4 container and love the wide leg straps. Just curious!! jason

I quess I could say I need to smile more. I'm all smiles on the way up to alt but as soon as we'er climbing out (formation diving) I feel like its all more business to get the jump done right. If somebody else blows the dive I'll still come down smiling under canopy and be like "who cares man that was still an awsome jump " but if I blow the dive (especailly being the low time jumper ) I tend to beat myself up a little. Even though everyone I jump with is great about it, I still tend to feel like if I dont do my part I'm eventually not going to be invited to jump w/ the big boys and girls. I guess I just learn better when I put my pressure on me! Hey must be working...havent been turned away form a formation jump yet!! jason A-38658

For the last month I have been jumping at least one day everyweekend but this past weekend I took off from jumping and now I feel like I'm outtta the loop or just something is missing and doenst feel right! Kinda like falling behind in school or something. Does anybody else get these feelings! Confused jason ps by the way I just opened up the freshed bag of FRITOS I ever had . Damn they were good
