Naaaaa ..you'll stil get the chics!!!!Your a skydiver!!! From growing up I've always assoc guys (cause thats usaully who I see wearing them) with amber colored glasses as gun ho hunting or shooting type people. Not thats thers anything wrong with that. I just never really cared for amber but its yoru eyes so get what you like, I'd still jump with ya if I ever got in your neck of the woods!!

We're going to be jumping from 16000ft AGL which will put us at aprrox 20000+ ft MSL this weekend. The letter I got said that O2 will be required on the plane and I know the requirements from the SIMS about useing O2 so my question is (since I have never jumped that high ) when you get into the plane do you wear the O2 all the way up or can you wait till you reach the max alt and then put it on? What have you all done jason

I know when I go sking I wear sunglasses unless it starts to snow then I break out my goggles which happen to be amber. It makes things way bright for me and sometimes hard to read the ground. SO if it were me I'd get a shade of grey. Plus the only people I know that wear amber glasses are the slapjaw yodelers I work with that walk around going "hyuk hyuk,,got me a big deer other day. jason

I dont think that anyone was "bashing" the company, just explaining there experiance they had with them be it bad or good. I think anyone and everyone has the right to tell there side of the story. As for the mirage itself I've heard only good about the product its just the customer service that may need some improvement from what I'm getting and as a consumer I hope people will come out and say "hey I had a really good experiance with these guys , or you know what they could of hanlded this a little better. Companies should know that word of mouth is one of the best forms of advertising and if somethings not coesher it should be addressed. And when push comes to shove theres always the old saying........sometimes the truth hurts!! jason

I purchased the Talon2 T4 with the multiflex option and just love it. Granted I'm really new to the sport and havent jumped a lot of diff containers but this is a great rig. I mainly fly formation but have recently started learning FreeFlying. A couple of times I've tumbled ass over end trying to learn a new position and never had any problems with the tuctabs(riser covers),or with the reserve flap coming out!!The bridal exposure from the right flap to the boc pouch is minimal( approx 1/2 showing), and has never came out. I pack a PD170 main/ 181RavenDash M reserve. Both fit very nice with plenty of room to downsize. Very comfortable container. Little hint: get a nice sturdy plastic brisel brush and brush it off after the days jumping and it will look like new everytime you bring her out!!! A well groomed rig is a happy one!!!

It seeme the operation went terribly wrong.. They ended up puting his penis on top off his head because in his language OSAMA BIN LADEN translates to DICK HEAD and they thought thats what he wanted. So now he had to walk around with a rag wrapped around his head to hide the gastly thing. This soon became a trend that all his followers followed...wearing a rag on their heads that is........... jason

do regular sunglasses hinder in anyones periferal vision. i know if i wore mine it would block out a lot of sight from side to side jason

If there is one thing I learned about jumping in winds its no hard turns. I was jumping in 18-20mph with 25mph gusts once and as I was doing hard toggle turns to burn off alt (did not want to hang around in the winds too long) I was having a problem keeping any heading coming out. I noticed that when I let both toggles up my canopy kept in a dive for a few seconds and then straightened out throwing me way off heading. When I finally got the thing on the ground I asked my riiger why this happened and he said cause the winds where blowing so strong that when I came outa of the deep turn the wind was pushing down on the leading egde not letting it come up straight. For a person with only about 20 jumps at the time it was some scarey shit LESSONED LEARNED!!! jason

Ok I have them on my main. But now the other question,,how are they diff on the reserve. I mean looking at them on the main they look pretty inocent. how do they get put on wrong on the reserve. Are you talking about puting the wrong slink (lineset)on the wrong riser? jason (still learning all this stuff)

Correct me if I'm wrong but These arnt something thats going to hang on the wall . These are chutes that you buy for personal emergency use. If you want it YOU buy it ,not the company and YOU are resoncible for the training. SO from that stand piont If I bought one and got the training. I dont see a problem so long as its use as a LAST RESORT!!! YOu always hear stories of 800ft bldgings on fire and people jumping out to save there lives. If people are going to panic there going to panic.and if there going to jump there going to jump, theres nothing we can do about that but wouldnt it be better to be paniced and jump with a possible chance of living than jump with NO chance. I'm not trying to start an arguement here just trying to find the good in these things! jason

I see your piont but the web site says that you have to get training on them so I think if you had the proper training for them what the hell, you should be alright to fly them. I mean we didnt just jump outa a plane by our selfs the first time with no training. Now that we have it (training) its not a big deal(knowing how to fly that is). Now if they're just hanging on the walls for anyone to use I'd say NO way. I could also see a law being passed saying they are for last resort only, as in you WILL die if you dont jump. But then again who needs more laws being passed . we have enough of those. I dont know I say go for it. If I worked in a taaaaaalllll building I'd like to know that I have a way out if everything else is blocked. just my .02 jason

Isnt that what I said in my post. "As long as your tracking perpendicular to the line wharts the problem" A lot of times I find myself directly over but to east of the drop zone on a south jump run in which case there is no problem with tracking towards it. The post wasnt stated towards long tracks or short tracks it was just tracking in general I was just asking/stateing an instence where felt it would be safe to track toward the DZ. If you are perpendicular to the line! I understand if your south east of the dz you dont want to head for it because then you would be tracking to the north /northwest which maybe into someones space! jason
