Hey hey hey ,,, at one of our local mcdonalds there is a statue of ronald himself sitting on a bench. Well my little girl wanted to sit on the bench so I picked her up and sat her on him AND SHE FREAKED!!!! can I sue for emotional distress to my daughter??? Plus I think she pee'ed her pants too (she's only 20 months cut her some slack) thats a new diaper though added to the suit!!! I think some one outta change there slogan from DID SOMEBODY SAY MCDANOLDS?? to DID SOMEBODY SUE MCDANOLDS?? jason

Dont know how many jumps you have but my tip of the week is ,,,,Dont jump in 19mph winds with only 13 jumps!!! Makes for a scary learning experiance. jason -
I here a lot of talk about people putting on there flameproof underwear and was just wondering... does anyone know where Ican pick some up??? I see there are DROPZONE.COM T-shirts for sale on this site ,, how about any DROPZONE.COM FLAMEPROOF UNDERWEAR???. We could have Boxer, Briefs, Bikinis, or even THONGS for all you wild women (and I guess for the wild men). jason

I owe my second case of beer. First case was AFP graduation and the second from last weekend jumping in strong winds and I couldnt make it to the A B C lic holders landing area amd had know choice but to land in the expert landing area(dowh)!!! Iwas welcomed with appluads and cheers of BEER!!! jason

Yes I can honestly say I'm happy that our vaction was canceled. Myself, wife and kid and her mom and dad were all suppose to go up to Oregon the last week of june into july. However do to I really dont know what the trip has been canceled. Why I'm I happy about this??? Because the weekend of june 29th-1st Skydive Ogden has the super otter coming, and I was kind of bummed to mis that. BUT NOT ANYMORE!!! told the wife MAKE KNOW PLANS FOR THAT WEEKEND I'ma jumpin

Besides my two tandems, I was able to go through my AFP training in one weekend, I just happend to have good weather and a J/M that was ready to rock n roll to the next level. However I think my level 7 jump could have almost qualified for a night jump

The way I looked at it for me was that I didnt really feel or consider myself a skydiver until I completed APF. Reason being is that the way I looked at it is that you can go to school to be a Doctor,,, however your not considered a doctor until you graduate. Thats just how I looked at for me though, but another thing is that if you only did one jump and that was it!!! just one.... then I think the correct term would be "I WAS a skydiver" not I AM a skydiver becuase the way I see it is that you have to be jumping more than once to use a current fraise like AM. I cant see some one being 30 years old having made one jump in 1984 and saying to someone "yeah I'm a skydiver" Anyway thats just my take on it. TO each there own. jason

Mountainman, I called that Zirich Direct Ins company and they quote me for regular life ins for $100,000 would be $119/year(about $11/month). Throw skydiving into the policy and he said you then ,because it is a hazardous sport(there words) you add $5 to every $1000 you are covered for. SO that will then bring the policy to like $659/year($59/month). BIG increase. Anyway that is how that company works. Hope this kinda answers your ????Also he said that if for some reason I would ever quit jumping to just call them and then the policy would be reduced back to the $119/year. Unfortunatly I havent gotten a policy yet. Just the quote. jason Oh yeah I forgot to add that this is for a term policy of 10 years!!

We have a jumper at our DZ thats just like Carries boyfriend. He can just about do it all and he base jumps alot too. But he will help you out with anything you need at any time. Super nice guy and just kinda quite and to him self. I did my first coach jump with him and two way(well kinda a two way, still need to work on those). Its people like that, that make you want to learn and be a part of> jason

Just to let you all know the question had something to do with whether or not it was good for a married person to hang out at the DZ for fear or hopes of "hooking up" with someone else. I think this person has some issues or something. I agree with everyhing everybody has said though!! jason -

I'll tell you this,,, I've been married for 4 years now and I just started jumping this spring. I've been hanging out at the DZ almost every weekend. however I would only do this one day out of the weekend (my weekends being Fri,Sat,Sun). The first thing I did and do when ever I'm in a group of people is to mention something about my wife so there will be know misinterpretations of my status. For me I go to either jump,hangout and talk to other jumpers(M or F) or cause my wife went somewhere with her friends and I've got nothing to do that day. Every one there has pretty much met her and my little girl and she knows and trusts that I'm just there to share a common passion with other people who jump. As for hooking up with any body ..... sure I'll hook up with a female jumper at 10,000ft turning points in a 2,3,4,5,ect....way!!!! But on the ground where all just freinds. Guess this really doesnt answer your ??? but thats how I see it!!!! jason -

I'm kinda having a simular problem only in the opposite affect. Right now because I'm so new (11 jumps) I'm worried that I'm going to forget how to fly if I dont get to jump on a given weekdend. I know its stupid cause I here people say its like riding a bike... once you figure out the basics It all comes back ,, but still thats my concern.. O'well guess I better get jumpin!!! jason Doasfu,, Just go out to the DZ and hang out not expecting to jump and then maybe the urge will seak up on you and next thing you know your on the next load!
