  1. I have a question. On our student gear the ripcord handle has a piece of velcro wrapped it on one end and then there is a piece sewn on the rig. So when the RC is in place it velcros to the rig. Nothing tight but enough to keep it from moving around during free fall. So would it be possible to maybe sew a piece of velcro to the hackey and a piece to your rig as a little added protection to keep it still and in place to prevent premature deployments? jason

    Hop and pop!

Skyslut, I think you nailed it!! We have a c-182 and c-206 so the most jumpers up were 5 ( myself, one being the JM and 3 other fun jumpers) and thats outta the 206. the 182 only takes 4 jumpers. jason
  3. I said it once and I'll say it agian "would you pullout or throw out on that jump" jason

    Hop and pop!

No special passes that I'm aware of. I know that when I deployed, sometimes I could see the other jumpersstill falling and deploy their chutes. Maybe they gave me a real good spot and then took the others out a little farther. Is that a possibility? jason

    Hop and pop!

Beats me... I just did sat where they told me and jumped when they told me. The tandems and the students always go first here. I do know that every time we went up my JM told everyone "hey we have a student" and told then my opening alt and if I was going to be tracking he told them to stay on the wind line?(is that how you say it) because I might not know which direction I'd be tracking towards jason ps . my pull alts were between 3500-4000ft

    Hop and pop!

On my level 7 jump we had one of the TM's come up and do a hop n pop. That was the first time I ever saw someone exit the plane. Being a student I was always the first to go so that was a pretty cool sight!!! jason
  8. Sounds to me like not jumping (out of a plane) isnt the only thing they dont get to do!! I always did think though how cool it would be to work on one of those.
  9. Thanxs for the good words people. Its nice to be part of the family. I also forgot to metion that my level 7 jump was the sunset load. Needless to say the sun had already set by the time we got to altitude. That was a littlle scary but still know problem except makes for judging your flare time a little hard in the twilight!! jason
  10. DOWH!!!!!!!!!! Hey just remeber what Steve Irwin always says "If you dont muck with them, they wont muck with you". Aint that right skyhawk!!! jason

  13. WOOOOOOOOOOOWWW!!!!, You guys arent kidding when you say it only gets better, from flips to lft, rht turns to superman exits,( you know your a newbie when you get excited about doing lft and rht turns
  14. Iflyme, THats the most jumps theyll allow for student in a day. Like I said in the past I've been saving up for the hole coarse so when I went in I paid in full and so as soon as I can get down on the ground at get trained for the next level its back up in the air. And for the people starting check and see if you get a discount if you pay in full!!! Here its 40.00 off the coarse price. Granted 40 isnt much but its still extra jump money saved!!! jason
  15. I almost forgot to add a thanx to all you guys and girls on dropzone. You all are the best and even though you do see it really help out newbies like my self. Lots of good info and people to learn from. thanxs again jason
  16. Yeeaaaahhhh!!! Just got back from doing my level 3 and 4 AFF jumps. HOLY S@#T this skydiving stuff is the altimate!! Level 3 went real good . Good exit, got stable and went through the dive sequence. Clean pull at 5000 and poooof chute over head. the canopy ride was the greatest, however I was up there forever (240 canopy and winds of 14 knots) perfect stand up landing 30 out form dead center of peas. Level 4 went even better good exit , got stable, COA, 1PRCP , 2 toe taps, and the next thing I know the JM is out in front of me. THat was the coolest feeling to be out there on your own, started to turn slightly to the left but countered. JM had to bump me once to stop another slight lft turn but regained stablility and flew out the rest of the dive. OPENING was a little harder than the first but still sweeeet. Another standup landing after an early flare about 30 to 40 from dead center. weather permitting on to level 5,6 &7 tomorrow (knock on wood) hope evey has a safe and happy friday the 13, and happy birthday sis!!!!!!!! JASON
