Any thought of humidity in your reserve? if am correct one of the things done to the reserve is to hang it so it can dry itself. Hey something that I would like is that the USPA puts the name of the instructor that gave the course to the student, something like scuba diving certificate cards. Am not an instructor nor I have any instructional rating. Now that I said that, I think that the reason for practice practice practice (about 25 times without stopping) is because it can give you something called muscle memory, something that you will do without thinking and your hands will know were to go to find what you need, is something like practicing your ripcord or BOC pulls on land. Don't have one but when I get it am gonna put it at 4000fts. its not the pull time but its close enough for me to break a formation, track and deploy in open space (at about 3k), in case am having a blast and forget to look at the altimeter. You were hooked? as in *ahem* hooked? I think you should seriously change instructor cause getting "hooked" in a tandem can be a lil unethical. J/K Dude you are a skydiver in vacation, when your holidays are over you will back up in the air and post whore more than usual About the tandem getting you "hooked", my dad says he wants to do tandem but only if he can get a metal plate in his butt or if the instructor tandem has an iron underwear. Could a ripcord cable work? the one used at the three rings and skysurf boards. Never seen a skysurf board but from what I can see in videos, it is very tight. Please do correct me if wrong. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
