I think the SIM and somewhere in the FAA says that the pilot is responsible for all of the people who board the aircraft, including: reserve up to date, use of TSO approved gear, drunk jumpers and everything else. Here is a wild guess but I think that he can get phucked if an accident happens involving a non-TSO'd gear inside his aircraft. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline

Lisa am on a diet, I bought the spectre with a wingloading of 1.1 to 1.5, dunno what happened last 4 weeks that now I am in 1.2 to 1.26 give me one or two weeks to get back to my normal wingload. Nothing bad has been happening to me (knock on wood, glass and every other mineral), but for that to keep happening I must have good input and info from people with more experience in canopy control (experienced people at my DZ and the DZ.com people) and I think you can be of great help to me and any new 7 cell jumper since you jump a spectre. Is it new?? NEW ZP??? I fully recommend a packer, its a pain to pack that thing. I have a spectre 150 bought it with 50 jumps and it is a pain to pack that thing, it kept inflating, I was gonna learn psycho pack but I read of other people posts that it shortens the life of your canopy, so I kept with my normal pro-pack. If you have hard openings, you can roll the nose and some cells, but better ask someone who knows how to do it to teach you, and remember to have a good body position when you pull (track, headdown, sit, will hurt). I feel your pain dude, its always hard to loose some one you love even if its a dog. I keep saying that I wont love the next one and that I wont care so much, but it never happens it always hurts to loose them, but the happiness they give you when they are around is one the best things you can have, its all in the memories. BTW looking at the pic I see you had a great dog. Don't feel bad, sometimes we have to do things we don't want to, but its for the best, like you said, no more pain for him.
