  1. While under canopy bring out a hook knife and ask him "Are you afraid of dying?" and then make an evil sinister laugh. that would scare tha shit out of them, oh yeah tell them to give a big deposit for the JM cause they will leave a big piece of shit inside. Other kewl stuff, if you have different tandem harness, try them all on and on the one you choose for the victim have some one from the store tell you (in a whisper loud serious word) "are you sure you want to use that? the SB said that it was a death trap waiting to happen, please reconsider it, we can't have a lawsuit" then you go in a pissed mood "I don't care, am the one attached to the rig" A crazy one: nude tandem with the ex and winter clothes with the man. 2. When that happens offer them some beer. 6) you will also see some weird stuff so don't be scared if all of a sudden you see a sheep walking by. Clay do you have her under leash? or she's not into that?
  3. I agree with you Clay on the american stuff. Before I get flamed for what am gonna say am gonna state that am an a North american (american includes everything from up top north Canada I think all the way down to Argentina, remember that) born in the US miami florida. Dudes can you name a true born North american and raised in the US that has been an incredible smart genious? nope, they usually like to import smart people from other countries, ask NASA or other major company. North americans are so close headed that they accept no critics, and always think that they are the best and that they can controll the universe, better get down from that cloud. It's not bashing, its the truth. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
  4. mm... night jumps anybody?
  5. Sit still while take off or landings, keep the balance and the center of gravity in one point. Dude I agree with you on the don't take off your helmet at 1000 AGL but man those close face helmets are like a pressure cooker (HOT) inside. I leave it on with the open face but can't do that with the full face. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
  6. Congrats Lisa to you and your son. Hey where is the pic of the 2002 graduates prank? come on there has to be something, high school people naked? bomb the principles car? a nice pic of the principal's pink car (when it was originally blue)? naked skydivers falling from the sky? 7. Dude I got my heart broken once cause after hearing that, I didn't cutaway. She started dating the other guy while dating me (of course she was so stupid that I always knew but sex was great so...) and when I got tired she broke up with me first (damn she beat me to it, it hurts more, don't ask me why) and you don't get break up sex. What pissed me off was when she said "I never cheated on you", what a big load of crap, Her stories never matched and I saw her a couple of times, and now she still tells me "I never blah blah blah...". mm... I think am a lil of subject. Dump her, thats a mal. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
  8. Am a student for Electro Mechanical engineering, graduation is for the year 2005-2006 if I don't go wrong on any subject. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
  9. Better double check what you said. Depend on your altitude awareness with the ground, remember altimeter can fail cause its a machine made by man. When you look at the altimeter you should also look at the floor and judge if its right what you are reading (i.e. Altimeter 7k and in your visual to earth you can read your car license plate, conclution: altimeter busted, better pull before going splat or firing my AAD). Here is a thought, you may want to consult this one with the Instructors, but I think that having an audible might bother your altitude awareness, maybe quade or bill von can say yes or no to what I just said, ask them. 10. Am an A and I thing that night jumps are very important but they should be able to be waivered in some situations (some countries do not allow night jumps and on other countries the airport closes to early) and who knows maybe add that comment in his D license (NJ/W = night jump waivered). For the CRW well gotta tell you people don't be selfish, some coutries don't have CRW coaches, and what should we do? fly to the US and spend a whole lot of money on motel 6, food and transportation? About the HP canopy, well gotta tell you I know of people that are scared of them and have no intentions on making a jump with a HP, just because they don't wanna feel the rush of doing it, they like theyr slow canopy ride and don't want to raise theyr chances to brake a bone. For me the D license is a person that can controll his freefall (move, dock, roll, turn) with no trouble at all; he can land any canopy near the target center (he has developed the canopy speed and dive judgment, something us newbie need to learn so we can land near the spot); can do any RW sequence without a problem, can jump with others without a problem, can make good spots and he knows his SIM word by word or at least he knows it but just has to give a quick look to remember it. Let the CRW and HP for specialties, don't mix it with the normal licenses. Some people just don't like those things. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
  11. If you are going for new, you can get a Tonysuit they work fast (3 weeks with rush and is only 20$) and have some great suits and customer service is excelent. If you are going for tonysuits then go for the pit special, it will give you a faster fall rate. For fabric use slick nylon, supplex everywhere and spandex on the forearm, for booties go for the regular (thats what they told me at tonysuits). Grip everywhere (the back of arm grip is not that important, but thats just my 0.02), size of the grip I really dunno, I got the 1 1/2". Next week I'll be jumping my new pit special and I can give you more info about it. Disclosure: I have no personal or economic interest with the tonysuit company. 12. I had trouble reading the altimeter while tracking but when I track I usually start at 4k and do it for 4-6 seconds then look around and open. I usually don't look at my altimeter while under canopy, last look I give to the altimeter is at 1K, then the rest of the ride is altitude awareness and works like a charm. 15. Best advice I can give you is a huge knife in your left hand and a nice gun on the right hand, you can start with the gun and end with the knife and then bury him under his own trailer. Some nicer stuff you can do is seal him inside his trailer, buy lots of epoxy and once he is inside totally wasted you can glue the door and windows, only way out is braking something. or you can do the scary method, go inside his truck and paint everything with the classic "I know what you did last summer" or some other threatening things, leave him notes, paint notes everywhere, write some satanic symbols, buy some fake blood in a FX store and fill his bed and everything else with it, that should scare him away and since you said that he wont call the cops you will be off the hook. Oh yeah remember to write his name with the notes, to make sure he knows that it is with him. Electricity works too, connect a 220 to his doorknob and he will get a nice shock everytime he touches it. Fill his trailer with lots of insecticide (dunno if you can get Baygon there but works perfect), it will be so toxic that he won't be able to sleep or even live there for a good time. When I get inspired I will post some other stuff. If you think that my methods are to drastic, please do tell me so I can think of something nicer. 17. ROFLMAO!!!! funny stuff chrome! "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
  18. You will... Welcome to Skydiving! A lot of people wont like what I'll recommend here but here it goes: Go for new RW suit (new cause it will give you an exact tight fit, RW cause you first have to learn your belly before anything else and it may take you from 100 to 200 jumps); a good open face, you can use it for RW and FF and anything else even camera in the future (but gotta tell you that the close face boomerang looks great); wrist altimeter cause the chest altimeter can easily get in a burble if you do some sitfly (read that in the SIM dunno how right it is); and for the protrack there is no hurry, first get your altitude awareness before using one. 19. Only jumped CASA, Cessna 172 and Seneca. CASA is great, but cessna is the best, very comfy seats, and the strut is awsome. "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
  20. Why are you so mean with yourself? Me: "I'm going to spend all my money on skydiving." Me: "Are you sure you have enough money? you can always sell the necklace or anything else." Me: "Why thank you."

  23. Read my preview post. I recommend from experience, that you get a wingload of 0.9 or 1.0, don't go for the 1.1 yet, make sure of your exit weight (your own jumpsuit + gear + helmet + extras (you need weight belt?)). If you really weight 180 then get yourself a 190 ZP, remember you can gain weight (happened to me, damn parties
  24. I like the 190 option cause first of all he is not 100% sure of his exit weights he says "180 or so", he might need weights if he want to try RW with heavier people (there is no reason to brake your back arching when you can use weights) and he has the chances of making a lot of downsizing. I talk by experience, I said that my weight was something and I forgot to add my gear, weight belt and christmas parties; now cause of the mistake am flying a HP wingload 1.2 with no chances of changing canopy (am broke, and very broke), I fly with no fun (don't even blink from when I open until I land) and on one occation I bumped my butt so hard that still hurts (it was 5 months ago) and not to mention how many PLF I've been doing, my rig was black and now is brown from a lot of rolling on the floor landings. I learned my lesson about wingload, people don't make my mistake, it hurts! (sincerely does) "Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?" drenaline
