    Wouldn't bother me any, then again when I started we didn't have no stinking door to close and we had all kinds of handles and and shit sticking out all over the place. You learned to cover your handles and move very careful about the AC ever mindful of the belly wart if near the door. (we didn't have doors or seat belts till later on, belts were after the door came in fashion) It used to freak me out, but I got over it.... but I have always been mindful of my movements, open or closed door. you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

    yea I know, same here, that is why I didn't check alti, I said smack you up side your head on your helmet to wake your ass up. If were at the point of busting one up side your head, we done already went thru the full deck and are now dealing jokers. FMI- we're not talking punch or hard blow here, but yes I've seen a few head taps before.in order to get a student to look @ an instructor. you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

    Did it get them to snap out of it? I think that once we leave the plane, it's my job to take some control and direct/instruct the student during the jump. That job may require under taking and using every trick in the book to maintain safety, if you need a smack up side your damn helmet in order to get your attention as to what is going on, well guess what.....     Yep. Not sure why it is so hard to just do it the right way from the start. I just worked a pretty good sized boogie, I only did 14 tandems, but also packed most of those too, each student was trained per 105 and fitted proper and then a double check, before we ever left for the loading area, I also do one in the loading area, same as any other student operation, a grip was maintained on my students at all times once there till on the ac and belted... I never missed a load and was keeping pace with rotation no problem.... it takes no longer to it right then it dose to do half ass. Oh and I think I know the dude in the photo...     You can not steal what you buy. Like it or not your DZO buddy didn't buy the domain name, and the other guys did, you snooze you loose, simple as that! If you want to open a business and you do a domain search for your business name and keywords that pertain, you are given a number of different choices, kind of like buy a vanity plate for your car.... if one word or domain name is for sale.... GUESS WHAT ACE< your free to buy it and resell it, sit on it or build a website and have that link point to your site via redirect, while skyride'ish in tactic yes, the question becomes is it legal to do that? Regardless, no one has stolen anything from anyone, only someone had their head up their ass when domains started selling. Now can someone pass the popcorn please! Oh and how about a rain coat, if I'm going to stand this close to a pissing contest, I don't want to get wet..... you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

    Yea that's right they don't, in m FJC your trained to land a parachute, on or off the airport or dz. In fact unless someone asks about it in class, you'll never know your getting a damn radio till your suited up and the thing is placed on your shit. FYI- most of today's instructional pool is jumping small hot rod parachutes that hall ass out of the sky, students, while having a head start by leaving ahead of time, still use big ass floaty canopies..... hint, this makes it a great deal harder to follow a student down, while most the time cutaway shit will still beat you to the ground. you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

    I forgot about the TA there as well. I've never had a problem dropping a trailer for a few hours, they all know the dz and get a fair amount of traffic from there. Have fun. you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

    Got it, I was busy read all that crap again after i posted. I did see some minor changes in the airport access area, but they are for the better and address what I commented on in Fed. So that is great to see that change... I read the letter Cliff wrote, I would hope with all the "other" FAA changes/studies going on that they will make the needed changes and be ready to roll it all out in the fall. I was surprised to see this released this soon. Glad it is out now for my interest. you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

    Well someone @ PIA & USPA dropped the ball then cuz the public comment ended Feb. 4 2011, I commented on it. And for anyone to say the FAA fucked it up or was slipping one by us...... NOT! this is old news. In fact there is some very important info changes in there for airport access. you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo
