Welcome. You posed some pretty good questions. I couldnt answer them (comprehensively) if I tried. But I can say I think just about every person here would have a different angle on Tosaw and Rataczak. By the way a lot of people pronounce it 'tow-saw'. Galen Cook might have a different take. In these sections you will find a reference to the FBI's CODIS system... read that carefully because it is from this system that the term "partial" has technical meaning. Note the sentence under PCR analysis that says: "With the invention of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique, DNA profiling took huge strides forward in both discriminating power and the ability to recover information from very small (or degraded) starting samples." Note "degraded". I would take the time to read the sections: polymerase chain reaction and Short tandem repeats Yes it gets a little complucated but its woeth the trouble to get a feeling for this material ... you will be glad you did. My feeling is, the FBI probably did some Y chromosome STR foci testing. One virtue of doing that is it tends to isolate donor markers to a restricted field while also helping to define areas of contamination ... this may be the basis on which they are using the term Partial and able to rule out competitors from a series of knowable trait groups? Im just guessing. My other guess is there will be more genetic testing in the Cooper matter as time goes on. In genetics circles "partial" can have a specific technical meaning - I have no idea if Ckret was using the term in that sense. We never discussed it. What you saw and heard from Duane is consistent with him wanting to be remembered as a big shot mastermind criminal, literally the top dog in his profession, by lying to you about being Cooper. Without unequivocal extrinsic tangible evidence connecting Duane with Norjack, you cannot rule that out Jo. I dont think you have bad motives, just a misguided quest started by a man you loved who was no stranger to lying and cheating. Duane's MO was far more consistent with being a sneaky non violent con man thief than a physical dare devil big time criminal innovator who threatend victims with extreme violence (as in "I have a bomb"). Still my mind is open. put Duane on da plane and I will eat crow for breakfast lunch and dinner. 377 Duane probably fits the semi-career juvenile deplinquent profile. What Jo has always described as Duane 'repenting' and changing his ways was simply age taking over with the normal change in values (and crime types a person in that catagory is willing to participate in by mid age). Jo, You really don't have one bit of TANGIBLE proof to support your theory. Every single piece of arguably relevant evidence is gone e.g: the ticket the bag the parking stub the "parachute hardware" etc. The prayer booklet has no provable link to Norjack. The same can be said about other suspects and their advocates, you are correct. Nobody has any solid tangible evidence. Maybe I am harder on your than I am on the others, but you invite it in some ways by your tenacity and your own fierce advocacy. No prosector could convict Duane on the evidence you have. A civil case has a lower standard of proof. The bank and the airline could never win a civil damages suit against Duane based on your evidence. good info. Cooper was putting his chute on when they were still on the ground at SEA - Hancock was still on the plane and saw him, so unless he took it off later all ties etc were done post-hoc. I believe consensus is Cooper's chute had no D-rings ?

One of my internet favs is the guy (guys) who still insist a life raft (barametric self inflating no less), was a standard part of Cossey's NB8, brought onboard for Cooper. The issue is more complex which is precisely why the FBI still has McCoy mentioned on their site (ok, one reason) ... and who precisely are these agents you factually state still think McCoy was Cooper ... but more to the point here: what mileage are you attempting to get by using this? Have you another candidate after Kenny? BTW it is entirely reasonable that someone would release the main parachute to keep from being drug or to be able to move more easily faster. And if the money was tied to the harness it would be faster to release the main and start moving with the money attached. But, there should be links, risers and the release hardware at the end of the lines or still buried if it was the lines were cut by who found it as reproted. Can you please elaborate on this ... To date, the Copper case is 90% soap opera and about 1% facts, with all of the predictable consequences. It's like a competition between the biggest liars and promoters ... who will say and do anything for 1 minute of fame. Brilliance will never solve this case.
