Georger, Remember you asked me the question regarding Weber, but it should be answered: After that post you quoted above - someone who at one time was very active on this forum and very astute noticed something even stranger. He found the dates of the articles regarding the money find appeared in the newpapers in the Ft. Collins area were one day before Duane penned his Formal resignation memo. This is not the letter to a friend in WA. It was dated the DAY after the article appeared regarding the found money. When the above was written I didn't know that the found money was NOT immediately made public. My opinion is he knew he said too much on the 1979 trip and that it would not take much to trigger my memory of the things he had told me and he really didn't know too much about me at that time (we had only been together for about 2 yrs). I never got to see that program because as I have told before he made sure we went out with friends who I barely knew on a weekday night. I didn't want to be there - I had wanted to see that program and stated this to the woman as I apologized for not being good company. 1. The program might have touched on fingerprints left on the aftstairs...and I would remember that nightmare he had. 2. His having mentioned "That's were Cooper walked out of the Woods". Even though I thought it a joke. 3. His having made me aware of how well he knew the area - might have caused me to ask him more question about the trip. 4. His 2 unusual disappearances at The Dalles and the other in Seattle. 5. His "short cut" which just happened to be at the back of the airport where the Plane was on the ground and the comments he made that not much had changed and mentioned something about a fence. 6. His giddyingness after his absense in Seattle and our going to Tahoe unexpectantly - I did ask how we could afford it - but he probably told me they gave him a bonus or something like that. 7. I knew little about Cooper - and keeping me ignorant was imperative. He knew I watched little to NO TV due to our work schedule which was always the evening hours. 8. He left for Mobile, Al within 2 wks returning only for my daughters graduation. 9. It was even more omnious when you realize that I never got to read that newpaper. He took it with him. 10. Not just the places he took me on the way to Seattle, but our stops on the Columbia as we were leaving (his ordering - not asking me to stay in the car while he was on the river bank) - his telling me the airport was across the river, but you couldn't see it because of the trees. His throwing that sack in the water just West of the bridge. 11. The last side trip when we went East on the South side of the Columbia for a ways prior to heading to Tahoe...all the way up to where Washougal was. This is when he pointed out the marina at Washougal which he explained I could not see because of the highway - (the one a boat disappeared from and was set loose in front of the airport). 12 His telling about the people he used to know in Washington and Oregon. 13. These are only the things I remembered 17 yrs later - what might I have remembered if I had known more about Cooper in 1980? 14. Would the composite have resembled him and would I notice the resemblance - I don't think any of the above where chances he was willing to take. 15. He could have stayed at his job in the CO area until it made more sense to make a move - such as after Donna graduated in June...he needed to get back to the South where NO one would connect any knowledge of Cooper to him...and to assure himself that I had not done so. Thank You, Looking for pictures of Barker in the early 80's but nothing - I guess they just allowed these men to have their privacy after everything was over and time served and life went on. Can't remember anything about the other man. I just noted the 2 men sitting on the porch across from me - I couldn't tell you what the other man looked like. He obviously was non-distinct. "Bernie" Barker has a distinctive look you just do not forget - his mouth (cupids bow) and I was watching him talk - he didn't move his upper lip a lot. I guess this is why that man stood out in my memory. In 1982 he was about the size he was in the picture in the article with Sturgis in the 70's. In 1982 the hair was more like the picture in the Obituary write-up, thinner and what I thought was dyed because of a reddish cast in 1982. I found NO color photos to verify that and nothing of him in the 80's. At least one thing Duane told me was true...although it was skillfully done - "High ranking official" - well, maybe. Guess that depends on how much you trusted our government at that time...and who you put your trust in. Such as it is today - few of our government officials can be trusted...the affairs of the US are appalling right now and this forum definitely can get your mind off of redistribution of wealth - Obama is working on. What about FAIR tax - Why tax the hard working people who do the right thing and take out the insurance offered by the employeer. These young people today don't get married and we pay for their babies and for those born to the illegal immigrants. I is sickening to see people walk into the convenience store and by Beer and Wine and junk for their kids - when I and others like me are paying for their Dr.s bills and welfare. A federal sales tax on all items except for food, prescription eyeglasses and medicine is the FAIR way. This way the freeloaders are paying part of their own bills. Yet, Washington is talking about taxing the medical insurance benefits - for those who are doing the right thing by taking out the coverage at work. THAT IS NOT FAIR. Those who carry insurance know their priorities - if it was mandatory all workers have health insurance we would not be in this position we are in now. (if they are employed they have insurance). Their excuse is they would take affordable insurance - but, when they are offered the coverage they turn it down saying they can't afford it, but they can afford Beer and Wine and movies and expensive toys (TV's, cars, large homes). You pay your health insurance and live off of what is left. I am mad as HELL about all of this "stuff" going on right now... I agree whole heartedly with that statement. I did not make that post for that reason - only to defend somethings I have maintained for yrs. One of those is that Duane had some kind of connection to this CIA world. As for the CIA NOT having anything to do with that skyjack - I agree. Just because I believe Duane to have had a prior association with a covert group is NOT insinuating involvement in the HiJacking - by those groups or the CIA. I do believe that because of Duane's association with these groups - there is cause for the FBI to not want Weber linked to the Skyjacking incident of 1971. This would be true of any suspect with that kind of connection. I believe his involvement with certain groups is a VERY GOOD REASON for the FBI to IGNORE Weber as Cooper. It is all about that darn CAN-of WORMS. Not a good thing to do...the government kept lots of things quiet because of past presidents over the yrs. Things do not change in Washington DC that much. Back to the CIA theory: Not one of you will believe what I have written below, but I had to stop my Sunday morning routine and make this post: Now that it is done I will go back to my Newspaper - one more lesson about WHY we will never know who Cooper was and why the investigation was stalled on Weber from get go. Written about 2 hours ago: I was just reading the Sunday paper and there in front of me was a picture from out of the Past. The name I was given was Bernie and he was heavier than the photo in the paper, but there was that face I have been trying to find for 14 yrs. A man I met around 1981 sitting on a huge glass wrap-around porch in an extremely nice private home in New Orleans at a very large party. The origin of his birth even explained a very slight accent I picked up on and now I know why the conversation he was having with the other party member "seemed" secretive. I was reading a magazine to pass the time and over heard part of a conversation - one with military and political over and under tones. When they looked my way and thought I might have been listening, he made very light conversation apologizing for disturbing my reading (First name introduction and asking who I was and who I was with) --- he then proceeded with his conversation in tones not audible to me. Duane had told me that there would be high ranking officials at this party - he didn't elaborate on this with my assuming he meant military. I always thought that was just an enticement to get me to go to an event I was NOT interested in. So now I have my own connection that puts Duane having known CIA covert Operatives under Howard Hunt. Again this is only my accounting and since I am not credible no one will ever believe a word of it, but I have spoke of and wrote about this incident with others over the years trying to find out who the man was - his lips and eyes were very distinctive and I just had a hard time associating his appearance with the slight accent. I believe this was discussed extensively with dbcoopercatcher and popeye dole in Unsolved Mysteries forum a few yrs ago. I do not believe we have ever taken this forum that deeply into the CIA subject connections I have explored due to such as the above. No, I do not know if it was given to the FBI or not. It was talked about, but since I don't own the video - I haven't asked. Without the video portion I can't see it being relevant and it is about Weber, but there was a picture of another person in the group that raised an ODD comment from the Night Clerk. As I said before I think too much time lapsed between his contacting me and the video being made (seven yrs)- that now his testimony could be tainted by what he has read and seen in the media. I am not a trained investigator and I caught a couple of things that indicated this. Yes, I try not to mention names or say or do things that will get me sued. I am not rich, but I am comfortable and do not want to spend my time or my security in a court room. Of course it would be made available to the public, but NOT the FBI, because I will NEVER trust them again. Face it Georger - if I stumble into evidence - It probably would be connected to someone Duane knew, but that is logical. I have several suspects - individuals Duane knew in his past who were military and with the right backgrounds...3 are still alive and one I would be afraid of. I did provide these names in the past to the FBI and they didn't do anything - 2 are very strong suspects and one is an ex-con...with ALL of the correct back ground and but I think he may have been under 6 foot. If the FBI was interested they could check his criminal records to see if he meets the description criterior - I only met this man ONE time. Read back and look at how many times I have tried to do that but a couple of posters bash me just for posting - a generic post. I know I have information that is no longer available to anyone - some or most of it acquired in my own personal search and more that will be coming in the very near future. There is a long forgotten person who did some things yrs ago and whose files are rather vast on another suspect who got lost in the shuffle. I have something I need some help on. Question: How does one check old old credit card number with now a defunct companies or banks? I have the numbers and names of banks but - don't know where to go from this point. You do know the legal problem that could cause? It would require releases and this man doesn't want his picture put in every news paper - I do not own the tape nor the rights. I believe that the FBI was provided with a confidential copy - at least I was told they would be provided with it. Doubt they even looked at it. This man does not want to be subjected to what I have been thru - who would? If you will remember he came back to the states for surgery and hopes to return to China. He works for a living and may have to seek employement in the states for awhile. Remember what my going public did to my career and my earning abilities? Or did anyone care? I had a contract with an FBI agent on a house at the time I went public....I had to give away 60% of my commission for someone else to close it (they had to tell him I wasn't getting a dime)... they knew that if I took it to the FL Real estate Commission that I was in the right. We were ready to close when he found out who I was....had he been willing to forfeit his money he could have walked away and did a contract with another agent on another house...but not that same house. I was kind enough to step aside and let it close - I was also healing from a very serious auto accident, but managed to continue to work. My clients picked me up at my home packing me with pillows (multiple broken ribs fron an auto accident). This is the kind of real estate agent I was - I had the reputation of being too honest, but that is what the buyers wanted - the listing agents hated to see me coming. Other agents knew they couldn't pull any shady stuff - with the contracts such as if they forgot to get things initialed - I had one agent blatantly initial her cilents initials on important parts of a contract. statement by Ckret - Agent Carr Georger there is NO need to hash that one out again but, I will reply as I probably did in the past. Carr says that "he" hasn't been able to find the registration...yet, he NEVER made an attempt to interview that clerk but, he had knowledge of this "witness" since 2001...and his contact information. Note that Carr's orginal posts regarding not being able to find the registration were prior to the Night Clerk walking into the FBI office in Portland around Oct. of 2008. Carr also indicated that he could find "NO hotel registrations" and you know the obvious argument for that as all of the hotels were checked and I am sure there are reports on these interviews SOME place in the FILES which seem to be in pure chaos. Even after the Night Clerk went to the FBI office in 2008, all Carr did was make a couple of phone calls. He judged this man's credibility on a phone call. I hope now he has seen the video made of an unbiased interview of this witness. He was shown several photos and his reactions to one specific photo was ODD. Because of the yrs from 2001 and 2009 (when the video was made) - I feel the man has been exposed to the media and that now any statement he makes will be ignored because of that. Yet, the FBI had a chance to do this in 2001 before his memory could be tainted by exposure to things that have been in the media since that time. Enough said. Jerry Jerry please don't start this again. I did NOT live a couple of block from the McCoy site and you did make the McCoy thing a very serious accusation in your reference to the Phone call you made to Duane's friend. Your memory is not serving you right now. I had just made what I hoped to be my last post. I am referencing our conversation a couple of months ago and a post you made in this forum about Duane's friend and your phone conversation with that friend. I am sure I probably did mention McCoy in my conversations with you in the past and you also by your own admission talked to Duane's friend about Mc Coy. McCoy did not live a couple of blocks from me - that was several miles. That house was on a main fareway and near the Mall. I lived in a very nice subdivision far removed from the elements and rentals and business in the location McCoy was killed in. Attention Orange. Regarding my wording of some things - I am not a writer of any kind - nor am I well organzied anymore. ALL I was doing was stating that Duane showed me where McCoy died and told me about him. He made NO statements at that time regarding feeling remorse for his death. Several months later - he makes a statement about feeling responsible for the death of another. It would be later that I connected McCoy and the statement he made a few months later. Many of you consider that connecting the dots...but realize that I did NOT connect the McCoy site and the statement until 1976 when I found out who DAN Cooper was. In the explanation of McCoy's death it was D.B. Cooper. When he made the statement of "remorse" nothing was said to link McCoy and Cooper. But, I have explained this before. I am too sick to continue this right now...I came here today to just make that one long post and look where it has taken me. Having to defend myself again. I took a whole sleeping pill last night, but that did not stop me from crying and waking up several times hurting very badly - deep down in my heart and soul. You are a mean and cruel man Georger. You say things that do not need to be said and you garnish your opinions in ways that twist things I have said and that are deliberately hateful. I believe you are one of those horrible people we see on TV programs who interview witnesses and turn and twist the details trying to get them to say just what is needed to discredit their testimony or accuse them of some horrific crime the FBI hasn't been able to solve any other way. Georger you said: "How would Duane have "caused" McCoy's DEATH! ? Duane had no connection whatever to the living breathing McCoy and McCoy didnt know Duane existed. Duane wasnt even in the same class as McCoy except that they both spent time in different prisons for totally different crimes." It has never been my intention to connect McCoy's Death or this person with Duane Weber. We are talking about setting examples. If Cooper had never made the jump and got away - McCoy would never have conceived of doing the crime he commited. Duane was a sentimental person and he "felt" responsible because McCoy "copycated" Cooper and ended up deceased as an indirect result of that jump. McCoy died because he couldn't deal with the consequence of the prison term he would have had to serve. Georger said: "Duane may not have known McCoy even existed until you two sleuths moved to Virginia Beach and began poking around, looking for trouble? Isnt that the correct version. ?" If you are so smart and Jerry is so honest remember your own words. Jerry claimed that Duane's friend said Duane talked about McCoy and this friend thought he had had one two many to drink one night. I personally heard Duane make the statement about feeling responsible for the death of another person - because "I set the example " His own words except I didn't know what he was talking about. This happened months after he had shown me the location of McCoy's demise and told me what it was about. But again I was not interested in those types of things and had no reason to be. Georger said; "Duane was a nobody and a nothing with congenital PKD, malformed hip and orthopedic issues, a personality disorder, and who knows what else .... that you have been trying to pass off as DB Cooper. Doesn't that about cover your whole story? That statement sure makes you sound like a FBI interrogator! You know I have stated over and over that in 1971 and in the following yrs, that Duane's physical condition was not as bad as you keep repetiously claiming - just because you want me to go away and for Weber to go away. Georger said: The fact is Jo, there is a common thread in everything you have ever posted about Duane and your and Duanes life together. If he could have stayed with only stating what was in the files and not his opinions...which others and myself proved were not accurate...he would have been OK. He represented those forces which protect and shield us as citizens in the USA. His own actions and words all documented in this forum - served no purpose other than to destory what the FBI is "suppose" to stand by. Investigate, report, protect and cause no harm. He revealed and stated I had certain information given to me - that I read for the 1st time in this forum. He misquoted facts of the case - such as the cigarette butts, which were taken into evidence along with the tie in Reno. His own mistakes - are the only reason he is not here. When an FBI agent posts in a forum - what he says is taken as the truth when it maybe only his opinion. When this happens more myths are born - the Cooper case has enough myths without more being created by someone who supposedly stands in a position to dismiss or investigate evidence. He made his own mistakes - I didn't make them for him. He was even quoted in newsclips and on TV the misnomers he was probagating. Yes. I miss the technicial input as we all do, but perhaps he had already revealed all he knew. I suppose you, Georger want to "blame" me for Ckret not being here - but, he did it himself. You, Georger make all sorts of outlandish claims against me and you are very persuasive as interrogators are trained to be. I have listened to you lean toward me, but that was a technique you use to win favor and then come back with the accusations. Your soft spots - I call them "sun" flashes are Tina Mucklow, the pic of the little girl, the Salt Lake City pic and the fire fighting background. to discredit me you consistently use - Duane's health, his mentality and his criminal record. You even attack me emotionally where you know it will hurt me. I have been honest in my telling of what I know about Weber's past and my experiences with him. I do NOT see him thru Rose Colored Glasses. The FBi can take Duane's criminal record and hash it all they want - but only I will or another person who knew him well will be able to pick out any one single thing that might be there - that will help to find the truth. I am not so interested in ALL of those records, but the ones from 1942 forward to 1950. The yrs the FBI refused to investigate - Hidden in the great archives of legal files in CA and WA lies papers giving the names of individuals who assisted Duane as friends of the family......and his employment during those yrs..regardless of which name he used. There is a name not in Carr's long list of aliases most of which I provided. Also please note - Carr is ON RECORD as stating one of the names Duane used was not an alias, but a mispelling even though the file says AKA. In Summary: I have NOT lied nor have I engarnished what I know about Cooper. I have played with the theories like everyone else. I always come back to the basics. 1. Married Weber in March of 1978. 2. Duane has the "dream" in 1978. 3. We move to FT. Collins in 1978. 4. Trip to WA in 1979. 5. Duane immediately pens his resignation the day after the article about the money find is made pulic in Feb of 1980. 6. March 1980 Duane leaves for Mobile. 7. Duane returnes May 1980 to help us move. 8. 1983 or 84 Duane showes me the site McCoy died at. 9.. Show me a book with the CPS - fire fighters 1985 with a picture cut out he said was him. (never have found this limited book. 10. 1986 he is reading the Norjack book which I never got to read - claimed one of the guys had it. 11. 1990 - the bag and the stub are found. 12. 1990 - at this time he puts somethings in his desk drawer...that he is protective of - after finding me playing with one of them while making phone calls. 13. 1990 - Attempts and does accquire the ID of John Collins again - he needed that ID to have access to the place he retrieved the above items from. 14. 1994. Old airline ticket in the office 1990 files that I was cleaning out with his reluctant assistance. 15. 1995. He tell me he is DAN COOPER. This makes no sense unless I know who Dan Cooper is. 16. 1996 I find out who Dan Cooper was. I am sure the above list needs some re-organization and some incidents added, but this is the outline of a 17 yr LIE without my going back thru the files? Hardly! Lies - WHAT LIES? I never mentioned a similarity in their health or temperament. I have no idea what McCoy's temperament was. McCoy was much younger than Duane and they came from very different backgrounds. You have NO basis on which to compare their physical abilities. I NEVER said that Weber was passive aggressive in temperament. He could and was violent when the need arised. . I have seen Duane Weber VIOLENT but will never discuss those episodes in this forum, but I will state that I am not the only one aware of what he could DO and what he was capable of doing. Duane was able to reastrain his feelings and temper and actions - you learn to do that in prison if you wish to survive...but the person he was directing this action at did not know that. The look on his face, the tone of his voice, what he said was all it took to back someone down. I assure you he was capabable of handing himself in certain situations - both physically and mentally. Do NOT call me a liar again Georger. If you want me to stay out of the way in the discussion do NOT call me a liar - because that is ONE thing I can assure you of and that my family will tell you - J0 Weber is NOT a liar. I would not be here if you guys had not turned everything so badly. I did not not recognize that house - I bearly noticed the house Duane showed me were McCoy died. I NEVER said anything about Duane being Superior to McCoy. I said that Duane must have felt remorse because he felt responsible for causing someone elses death - that does not mean directily. Obviously it did weigh on his mind. Showing me the house was when we first moved to VA. His statements about feeling responsible for someones death - he made about 2 yrs later and he did not reference McCoy - but, it was about the time the book came up that showed the Camino Group - an old book where a picture had been cut out...but to try tell you guys anything is useless. You just turn it around to suit your one self-fulfilling purposes. As for Ckret and that list of names - he didn't have a list when I first talked to him - and remember that he promised me Duane's criminal record - which he NEVER sent even though I requested them and he said he would provide them. I will repeat ONE more time and as many times as I have to - Duane's health did NOT fail until 1986. If you want me to be quiet and stay out then do not blatantly bash me or what I have said or turn things around about Weber to suit your own self-fulling needs. Discuss Cooper - remember as Georger said - it is ad-nauseam to discuss Weber. If you do not consider Weber as a suspect then there is NO need to discuss him or me. Before all is said and done I wanted to add something to the prior post. This forum can with its collective knowledge prove or disprove that Weber was Cooper - with simple things like the SLC pic and the identification of Ed Hurand (however it was spelled). Logically I think the forum as a whole has put Coopers knowledge of jumping as basic in nature. Cooper has never been identified therefore it is logical his knowledge of the area and jumping, was so far back no one remembered him and I will place a bet this knowledge was acquire under an alias. Not because he planned anything, but because the stigma resulting from any time served or military misconduct could have hindered employment. He may have also been on the run from another crime. It is very obvious Cooper was knowledgable of the WA area. If Cooper was in WA working within 20 yrs in that area he would have been around 26 yrs of age. Say 1951 - He might still have been remembered by someone. If we back of that time span to working in the area to 25 yrs...we have a 21 yrs old. Who remembers a polite normal young man who worked in the Orchards, on the pipelines, as a gofer for pilots or jumpers, who worked in the forestry program or for that matter help build airports. Earlier in this thread I asked a question which got lost in the shuffle. What is A.W.A.R.E. or I missed the answer. What is Air Base Constructors? Both of these things appear together and as a part of Webers background - the FBI nor anyone else is remotely interested in this. I am because I think this puts Cooper in WA or the area for an extended period of time --- and in an enviroment where he may have acquired the knowledge of jumping. This goes hand in hand with early firefighters and firejumpers of the late 30's and the 40's. These people were all part of the "aircraft" world of the time. (I used this term for lack of a better word within the limits of my knowledge). Who would even remember this kid or young man always eager to help with this or that? He was always extremely polite and likeable, but used poor judgement which usually landed him in trouble. The duration of this young man's employment in the tri-state area may not have lasted more than a few month or a couple of yrs. This is not just aimed at Weber, but at any young man in those same circumstances. This statement made during our trip to WA and while in the LaCamas area continues to bug me. "The people who used to live here had a son about my age". It sounded sad...I just remember he made that statement in the Washougal and LaCamas area about a farm. It makes me wonder in retrospect at this moment if the person buried at that cementary in Washougal was that young man. Just some food for thought for anyone living in the area - who might want to really do some serious research. Someone that might really care if this crime is ever solved.,,I do because if Weber was not Cooper he knew who was. If Weber was not Cooper what needs to be done is to track Duane's life during those days. I swear by all that I love and hold dear that I held certain items in my hands that could only have been acquired by Cooper. If you wish to doubt my honestly and my memory regarding this - the highjacking of a 727 on November 24 th 1971 MAY remain forever unsolved. Sorry if what I think or believe offends anyone, now I have to leave this to a higher being and others. I have done all I can do - I have come full circle right back to the original things I told the FBI in the beginning of my search. I can do no more. I have explored everything made available to me and it goes right back where I started...WA. ID. OR. and CA. - 1940's.

Georger - I am not trapped just tired of the struggle. I could walk away from this and let someone else deal with it. If I do that the truth will forever be buried. Cooper will be portrayed as this devious adventurous excon who gets involved in CIA efforts - to some that would make him a hero. Cooper was not a hero - he was a simple person who was smart like a fox, but only after he stared death in the face in 1971, His only claim to fame was that he survived that jump in 1971 and no one ever knew who he was. Which of these 2 do you think people will spend their hard earned money to see or read. I want the truth, not what will sell theater tickets or books. Yes, probably all of us will buy Cook's or Grey's book - because we know the subject...those books will be hashed over as all the books preceding them have. Sadly the young people won't... but they will go to an action packed suspense movie where the criminal is a hero. Is that how any of you want Cooper to be remembered and is this what you want our young people to remember about this crime? On any given day in the future a movie will survive a book. Our young people do not read as we did and some of us still do. Money in the bank or the truth - which is more important? I could have signed a contract yrs ago and ran with the money, but chose to stay for the truth. I had no idea my battle for the truth would be the journey it has been and the price I would pay.. Excuse me, but are you sure you read that right. Sluggo was here for 2 days - during that time he was only able to see a very small fraction of what I had - which is exactly what I was saying. Because he did NOT see the other 90% I do not feel he should make judgements on the 10% he did see . Note I said see - not read. As for reading all of the material - that might have been .0001% he actually read or copied. I gave him access to much much more - he only had 2 days. I got upset with him on the phone and in the forum regarding a private issue. He has since been very guarded in revealing a confidentiality. Sluggo - I absolutely do not have a problem with that. Yes, I think Duane was Cooper, but I have never dismissed the fact that maybe he was the one on the ground...as per the statement he made in WA. I have always maintained that if Duane was NOT Cooper he sure as Hell knew who was. You nor anyone can take away the things I held in my hands - the stub, the airline ticket and the bank bag. I KNOW I did not conjure up those items. I KNOW that Duane did not Manufacture those items. I KNOW I did not imagine those items. I KNOW that I have not lied nor made up the details of Duane's life. Someone finding Cooper and his money or proving Cooper was Johnny Come-Lately, with absolutely no connection to Weber what-so-ever.... is not likely. Many on this forum think I am dislusional - and the FBI with their contaminated DNA have already publically denouced me as a joke, I have already been called a liar regarding things I have absolutely no reason to lie about and to which there were witnesses. I have already been made to appear to be someone looking for 15 minutes of fame and been publicily humiliated by the FBI and others - and now live a very solitary life due to all of the above. There is little that will change any of that....except finding the truth. Should anyone prove beyond a shadow of doubt that Cooper was Johnny Come-Lately then I can get some rest. Personal remark: I had five calves born starting late Wednesday, the last about 4:00pm yesterday afternoon right in front of my eyes! Really cool! Georger - I honestly don't remember if they showed any interest. I know they were aware of the watches - and they knew I with held the watches. I described the 2 watches (that Duane owned prior to our marriage) in detail to Himmelsbach. One I earlier described as rectangular - but, I was mistaken it is Square. An old Longines with a gold and natural checkered pattern on the face and 4 small diamonds. The band is more like a finely woven bracelet repeating the checkered pattern and intergrated into the watch. The band is Gold plated. The back of the watch plate is 18K which was common yrs ago. No value and it is unrepairable. He never wore this watch during our time together. The other one I described before, but this watch is in the saftey deposit box. Right now I can't even remember the name of it except to say it was a gyromatic - keeps great time and the band is not the original band. Since the FBI said that no jewelry other than the tie tack was worn by Cooper I did not see the significance after Himmelsbach and I discussed this. The third watch I gave him is nothing special, but it was the one he wore all the time and the only one that would have had DNA on it I would know to be specific to Weber. Duane was evaluated in Birmingham for a kidney transplant in 1988 or 1989 - I think they took DNA, but I was told that after he turned down the chance for the transplant it would have been destroyed. He was eligible because he had not yet turned 65. He told me that he had lived a full life and felt it would be wrong to take a kidney that might save a younger persons life. Duane turing down a chance for a kidney goes right along with the statement he made about feeling responsible for the death of someone else. This is why I think his statement about doing something that caused someone else to get killed - was remorse about McCoy since McCoy was a copycat. He told me about McCoy when we moved to VA and even showed me where he got killed, but the statement about feeling responsible for the death of another was a three or four yrs later. I did not relate the two conversations until I found out who Dan Cooper was and understood the sequence of events relating to Cooper and McCoy. Co-incidence - maybe. Me connecting unrelated things - maybe. Me lieing - absolutely not. I just want you folks to see that there are many more things other than the confession and what I held in my hands. It is not just the things he said on the trip and in the hospital - but 17 yrs of little strange things like the McCoy thing. The FBI didn't even reply when I told them anything. I didn't think those books were important nor Mickey until I saw pictures of Tina. Sluggo is the one that made that connection in the forum...it had entered my mind. We still don't know if they are connected - or if the picture was connected? The FBI ain't talking! They have ignored everything I told them - what else am I supposed to do...I didn't get the information about the family friends until 2003 - and the FBI was told. Come on 377 - cut me some slack here - I can't MAKE the FBI look at anything I have and I sure as hell couldn't get them to listen to anything I said. I don't understand how anyone is expected to give up everything in their possession that belonged to their spouse - Every widow needs something physical to hold onto and remember their spouse by. Should I have also have given them his ashes? I doubt that many widows have given the FBI all they had. There was enough there to fill a 24 by 14 by 18 box - wasn't that enough? Everything had been handle by others and cleaned and wiped off between 1995 to 2003 - they waited 8 damn yrs to ask for DNA and prints. Or did you remember that? I told them I was a neat freak - and that all of that stuff had been cleaned and the gloves tried on at a garage sale. I also told them I didn't think the hair I sent was Duane's, but belonged to a man who tried the suit on. It may even have been my own hair. Had they been interested in DNA in 1996 and 1997 the DNA I provided might not have been so contaminated or damaged. They did not take DNA when they came to my home in 1997...they didn't even interview me until several months after I contacted them. I have given that date before and I am not going to dig into the files to find it...seems like it was early 1997 and I first contacted them on May 24th 1996. So now who trusted the system and why should I - it takes 8 months to send someone to see you and 8 yrs to ask for DNA???????????? Give Me a Break! They never told me if they got the same DNA off of several items or just one item. If only one item - it might not have been Duane's. I doubt they even recorded my statement about the hair and the items being used and worn by others. This is a part of the records I think are pertinent If they didn't get mutiple DNA HITS on several items - then was it Duane's DNA they compared? The letters were sealed in prison - I expect the officials sealed the envelopes in those day...did that DNA match DNA taken from multiple items?
