Thats a myth. It all depends on how the (tests) are being conducted and what the database and baselines are. Even a paranoid schizophrenic can be tested ... right in the middle of a delusional episode. Jo, for example, would never escape.

Jerry is not bashing me about the conspiracy theory or any theory. I need to set the record straight as to what he is calling lies. It is what Duane showed me in WA, what I held in my hand, the confession and my trip back to WA in 2001 when I found the places I had described to Jerry in 1997. This is what Jerry is baggering me about calling me liar liar with every breath - I didn't hang-up (he requested I call him) thinking he might come to his senses. He kept saying "tell me your lieing and we have a deal and he wouldn't make the tapes public". This went on and on. I had 4 witnesses when I went back to WA and found the places. He kept saying "You are lieing, tell me you are lieing" He said I rented a car and he could prove it and I that was alone and had NO witnesses. Jerry hasn't said anything to me about the conspiracy theory because he knows it is theory. What he is doing is attacking the core of what I know and my going to the places and seeing what I saw and then finding them again in 2001 with witnesses. He was using 60's prisoner of war tactics on me. The places existed and still exist but not as I saw them in 1979 and 2001. WHY would he DENY they exist? - WHY would he CALL me a LIAR - when the 2001 trip had witnesses? These witnesses are WA residents and not part of a film crew - the guide provided by the film crew didn't have a clue about the places I described. These witnesses do not deem it necessary to expose themselves in a forum - 2 of the living ladies are older than I am. One lady has died. Jerry even threatened to have me arrested for impeding an investigation and to make charges against the driver who assisted us. Now do you guys understand what is going on? I don't other than Jerry doesn't want anyone to know these places actually do exist and that at one time they were exactly as I described them in 1996 to the FBI and later to Jerry at the suggestion of Himmelsbach. Note: When I was trying to describe the places to the FBI and to Jerry - the body of water - I thought it was the Columbia - Duane knew I thought it was a river and he did not correct me. It was just a big river to me - but, it turns out it was a very long lake. The Lake was low at that time - and with the down drop - I thought it was a river - I didn't know that rivers in WA are rocky and usually moving rapidly...I had NO REASON to determine what this body of Water was in 1979, until we were leaving the area. My memory of a sign is the very thing that helped me find it in 2001. Because of an odd statement - I turned around and looked back at a road sign. I didn't remember that road sign until I was in that car with the driver in 2001 and there it was infront of me. I was screaming TURN TURN TURN. The driver then informed me that in order to take me to any body of water in that area - he would have have to turn - he was waiting for my reactions to the area I had been told to go to - by the truck driver. Remember that this truck driver told me that after I crossed the bridge in Washougal if I had ever been there I would remember it. Remember it I did. When I asked the driver what the body of water was on our S side he told me that was the Washougal - Jerry had told me over and over that the Washougal could not be on my left. As we got on down the road - I told the man to turn right. The man then told me if we did not turn at that point that the road would dead end later on down the river. When we headed West - I saw the pastures I had kept telling Jerry and Himmelsbach and the crew and the FBI about - they were there. Quiet a ways up that road is when I started screaming TURN. What Jerry does not understand is that my mind photographs things and places - things and places change, but somethings do not change to the point you cannot retrace your steps. Tree I saw in 1979 were 4/6 yrs old and then 22 yrs later it is a very very large tree. Tree that were 25 yrs old in 1979 could have been removed or diseased or taken out due to developement. Jerry whenever I make a post you immediately ATTACK with the same story over and over - polygraph and lies and insinuations about Duane's family. I have been told that a polygraph at this late date would be to no avail. I offered to take a polygraph in the very early stages of the investigation -WAY before you ever heard of me - 1996 when I first contacted the FBI and several times since. There is NOTHING I am lieing about. I have like everyone else explored different theories and I also have a little fun with this once in a while. Why do I get under your skin - is because of your book/movie/pilot deal you signed? Are you afraid that what I have to say will get in the way?????Remember the first time I talked to you in 1997? Did you go out there and find something - and now you got it tucked away so you can solve the Cooper story? You thought I would just go away or die - but that is not happening fast enough to satisfy you. Right? .

Jerry, this story and stories like it have circulated for yrs. Yes, Himmelsbach is aware of this story...why would you think it is new? I had a co-worker (boss) who even claimed to have been in the military and part of the search effort and even he made a claim of a loafer being found by someone in the search group. This shoe story was investigated and discarded - yrs ago. Like the rest of the story - what is Myth and what it Truth? That special shoe was alligator grain - truth or myth? Now how the hell did I know that? How do I know it was NOT a penny loafer? Phil or someone in his unit is still telling that darn loafer story ----------------believe me if that loafer had checked out it would have been in the evidence locker when it was found. Why not? - because Cooper wasn't wearing a penny loafer.

My dear Baboon and Snowmman: Attention Tom Kaye I guess I have been sleeping - would someone explain the paragraph I just highlighted in red? If that statement is correct and I assume it is - WHAT CIA INVOLVEMENT? What photographic image? Or are you talking about the CIA clip we all saw on the forum. What does Kaye have the public is NOT entitled to? I thought it only involved something in a chemical analysis and I have something that needs to be tested for that same element - the bottom 1/4 to 1/3 of the book the photo was in ..it is more than wet - it was very dark - just the cover part. The damaged cover is Gold and the other is Blue. I thought they had detemined that the element was contamination after the fact. I am NOT writing a book. As for Duane's family - he was detached from his family for yrs. The brother had no contact with Duane after 1958 (that contact was not pleasant). The sister I have letters and phone calls from - she is deceased. I never found a daughter who Duane claimed to have last seen when she was 8 or 9 yrs old...what I did find shows a woman born about that time who is now deceased - but, could not verify this was his daughter. There is no JO Trap. I have just been reading and trying to absorb all of the technical stuff about the fight pattern. Common Sense Question: Just how the (blank) does anyone think Cooper's money got all the way down the Wahougal and then down the Columbia with 3 packets intact or however many they found - not to mention the 8 yrs or so it would have spent in the water or buried some place? There is no Jo trap in that question - just common sense. After all of these yrs - suddenly after most of the witnesses who claimed to have heard or seen the plane are old, senile or dead - a "panel" of experts can just throw all of the 1971 maps, reports, etc. out the aft stairs of a 727 and conjure up their own flight pattern. I can understand some variance in the flight pattern - but, this is getting crazy - it is Cooper Mania.

Persuasion had nothing to do with. Yesterday the 27th of March would have been Duane's and my anniversary - All I was doing was TRYING to think what was going thru Duane's mind when he did the Hijacking in 1971. Note that Quade did not say the whole synopsis was illogical, but part of it was. When I read what I had written I agreed that part was not logical. PS - Dan Cooper died 14 yrs ago today - March 28th 1995. It has been said he was a "Bastard and evil man" according to one ex-wife. Another wife said "He was the love of my life - that Johnny he was something else". As for me and what I remember: I didn't know the man I spent 17 yrs with - more yrs than he spent with his mother. Why couldn't he have left the past in the past? His sister begged me to leave the past in the past when I told her what he said. If she had no knowledge of the crime - why did she say this? This was BEFORE the FBI investigated and before I learned the extent of his criminal back-ground. I will never know all of the truths about this man - common criminal, bastard, liar, womanizer, 6 time felon, troubled child-hood, rebellious young man...I didn't know that person. He definitely had flaws that I didn't like, but he turned out to be a decent man, a hard worker and an above average husband. The man I knew was child like in his approach to special holidays and had this strange appreciation of life and the simple things and small treasures. He was a very giving and loving person to all that knew him. He was a man with a past - he lived in the present. He was a man who was constantly looking over his shoulder fearfull the past would catch-up to him. He was a good singer with a voice that didn't need a microphone. He told me to keep music in my life and his last words "I love you". I love you too Dan Cooper whoever the hell you were and inspite of whatever you did - you made restitution for your sins in the only way you knew how...but, Why did you have to tell me? Jo, your logic here is flawed. If he planned on getting caught and spending his life in prison with free medical care then jumping makes no sense at all. In fact, the hi-jacker simply would have turned himself in at the first opportunity. You are right - just me trying to figure out the logic of it and I am not very logical sometimes. Orange, I have been nice and quiet and even polite to Jerry, but I have to bore you guys one more time., so please forgive me. The FBI/CIA thing developed due to a series of co-incidences. There were things in his past that lend themselves toward that train of thought. He very likely was involved in a group (good or bad) and this may or may not be the source of jump knowledge. This was a man with a past and no future - facing the biggest battle of his life - and without a job and medical assistance. He had spent 17 yrs of his life in prison - he didn’t know any other kind of life. When he got on that plane I believe - he expected to be apprehended on the ground and spend his final yrs in prison with medical assistance. When the money was delivered he was “child like” - I think when that plane lifted off it hit him - "Oh hell what did I get myself into". There was no choice except to jump -“Hell, if I die at least it will be quick” and if he lived he expected to be caught and die in prison. Yes, he was sad - because he was facing prison and death. There is a part of me that thinks he never planned to jump. I believe he held on for dear life just prior to jumping because of the way his hand was up (in the dream) as if holding tight to something and then he lets go of a blood curdling scream “I’m going to die” Maybe he didn’t expect to reach that point, but he did and he survived the jump. Now he has really done it - he’s got all of the money and every federal agent in WA is looking for him. His gut told him the FBI would be on him fast - he has to hide what he can and carry the rest . He gets his bearings - he knows the area. He heads toward the tower light - he knows there will be shelter there. He is aware of that area and what lines crossed that section and he has to get out of the search range fast - he is unaware they are would be searching further North. He knows where the Hat is and where the power lines and pipe lines lead - and he heads East because he knows that area well. NO ONE has ever explored how Cooper knew the area so well. If it had been recent, surely he would have been identified. Therefore this familiarity had to have gone back to the yrs of 1946- 1949 before he started to look like the adult he had become. What drew Cooper back to WA?Why did he choose WA ? Did he work there as a very young man - building the infrastructure - pipe lines, power lines, airports, highways, forestry or ranger in training? What and why did Cooper choose WA - a child he wanted to see, (polycystic kidney disease is hereditary), the woman who gave birth to his only child - something brought him back to WA. Whatever it was - didn’t turn out the way he expected. I think the mistake the FBI made in apprehending Cooper was that they thought “trained jumper” - and chose to go on the basis of what he looked like - not HOW and WHEN he was familiar with the area. They didn’t go back far enough in time - and they were stuck in an experienced “jumper mode”. If you look at the other side of the coin and in simple terms - it makes sense to conclude that Weber was Cooper. The public has a tendency to over think things and to complicate them. KISS was always Duane’s motto all the yrs I knew him. He always cautioned me to say as little as possible in a presentation and wait for my cue. You'll Never Know If You Don't Know Now. PS Me trying to think the way I thought Duane might think, but, Quade is right it doesn't make sense, but there is still something in my gut that says he did it because he didn't know any other way out - perhaps he looked at is as a win win situation no matter what happened. I do not understand why you would say that - you know I have been describing this same locations since day one - it was in my letters and phone calls to the FBI. The same goes with all of the other locations I have described. Frankly I know of only one reason you would NOT want anyone to know the locations existed. As for a guy in Stevenson - I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about...I never heard of Stevenson. I never told you to contact a person in Stevenson. Before you have stated the park didn't exist. Now you say it does. I have found old maps and it was there in 1979 and in 1971. In my vast research it is there. (It may not have been a "formal" park in those yrs and just a place with a few scattered trailer, etc in place). This place is north of Coffey road on the road that goes along the Washougal. Yes, now I am able to direct you there and yes it did exist in 1971 - just a few trailers at the time. In 1979 there were more - it sat back off the road. In 1997 you were speaking to a woman who only had her memories - but today I have the information that BACKS - up my memories. Perhaps you need to study some of the maps dated in 1971 and 1979 - as you have said before - FACTS. All he said about the "park" (my name for it) was that he used to know someone who lived there. This is where we turned around and went back to the road we took to go West. Just from maps I believe that road to be Coffey Road. There was also another road that turned West near there. Right now I am using only my memory and not maps. After we turned West onto one of these roads he went for a ways and would later turn North. I do not remember if we made more turns, but it was after this point some distance away that we went off on to a dirt road and drove back into the woods. After reaching a clearing - he stated maybe he should have turn before that point - after sitting there in the car for a few moments he made this comment " There used to be a tower here and a shed right there - at one time I buried something behind it." I do not know if this was his exact words but close. Then he pointed to an area where the tree line was lower - telling me that yrs ago that was a logging road and you could see the tower light for miles (this is the tower that was no longer there). He said that beyond that logging road was a railroad track. I found what I think is that area and now there are ranchettes there - long narrow pieces of acreage with a house fronting the road. (Yes, this one detail regarding the ranchettes is from a recent ariel.) The rest is from my memory of 1979 - which by the way has been very reliable. I respectfully ask that you please go back and check you information again - because these are facts - no lies or fantasies involved. By going back and rechecking them you may still be the key to solving this 37 yr old crime. If Duane was not Cooper he sure as hell knew who was...you cannot take away the things I physically held in my hands in 1990 and 1994. Stub, ticket and bank bag. Now I have a way to map out what I tried to tell you in 1987 - respect me enough to go back and see what you could have missed. This in no way discredits you or me - because now the new technology may help you to find something - that will at least explain how Duane knew that area so well. Somewhere in the research (mosty paper documents and on discs) so I will use my memory. There was a mention of dredges brought down to the Columbia that had been used in Lake Merwin and it was theorized at that time the money remains may have got caught up in the machines in Lake Merwin and then flushed out after it was set into the Columbia. I believe this was part of Tosaw's searching and theories. One of you guys out there can go right to the source and quote it. Georger: The night Clerk was interviewed along with the manager and another desk clerk in 1971. In this interview he told the FBI about a man who stayed there fitting the description and the name he used. The FBI collected the registration card putting it in a plastic bag after cautioning him not to touch it. That interview made a long lasting impression on him. He was not contacted again by the FBI and assumed that the man checked out . Then in 2001 - there is a picture of a man in the paper who had confessed to being Dan Cooper and the article stated this man used an AKA of Collins. This is what got the night clerks attention - and the reason he contacted me. I then sent him more pictures and his memory of the events on that day the FBI interviewed him in 71 was cause for me to contact the FBI (2001 or early 2002) and provide them with the name of the man and his contact information - the FBI did NOT contact him. Agent Carr acted like he had never heard of this night clerk - I again provided the contact information. After some time not hearing anything from the FBI this night clerk of 1971 decided to take it on himself to go to the FBI inperson with a notarized statement in the late fall of 2008. The FBI not making a reasonable effort to contact this man was perplexing. It was only my stomping and screaming in this forum that Carr did a cursory look at the files for the reigistration card and claimed he found none. Carr's reply to the fourm left us or me thinking they found NO reports of any hotel interviews. Remember my coming back on him and stating these interviews would have been done in the course of the investigation...I don't remember if he replied to that or not. They are not currently hiring for his position. - conversational English. He loves China and is eager to go back, but was unable to secure a position in the area he chose. He also has the age thing working against him along with the health issue that sent him home for "MAJOR" surgery in 2008. It had nothing to do with me being unfair. The Night Cllerk walks into Portland FBI office and hands them a notarized statement around Oct of 2008 - since Carr had not contacted him after I told the FBI who he was and how to contact him in 2001. The night clerik was in the states for major surgery and it would be several wks before Carr contacted him by phone - I expect out of courtesy because the gentleman had major surgery. The conversation was short and no actual interview took place. Since the forum and others had question if there really was a night clerk and because Agent Carr nor anyone else in the FBI never validated that this person did exist...certain individuals took it upon themselves to be sure the FBI did not let another witness expire without his testimony being taped. Please note - the night clerk is doing well and looks good - and due to the economy he is not going back to China anytime soon. All the more reason to keep his idenity out of the media - (It could jeopardize his employment opportunities in the states and I do not want him to run that risk) as I would feel responsible. Questions were ask - interrogation no. Over the past 8 yrs his statement like everyone elses evolved with exposure to the media information available - this video should have been done as soon as the FBI became aware of his claim in 2001 after reading an article in the Oregonian and contacting me thru Margie Boule. I believe the FBI was given ample time ( 8yrs) to contact this person and obtain his statement. I do not therefore believe I am being unfair with the FBI - unfortunately Carr has to bear the brunt of mistakes made before he was assigned the case. Carr also ignored this witness even after he was brought to Carr's attention by me in at least 2 phone conversations and on this forum. Note this is NOT about Weber, but a witness who claims to have seen a man who looked like the Composite at a hotel near the airport gate. The name John Collins and the pictures of Duane Weber - were cause for him to contact me in 2001. The FBI was notified of his existence, contact information and claim in 2001. I PM ed Shelly only once - and several wks ago I did PM Jerry. Shelly if you would like to send ME copies of those tapes - I would be glad to listen to them, but NOT everything is public nor was I informed I was being recorded - until 2003 the law in Fla was explicit in that respect. I have nothing to hide - but since I was unaware I was being recorded it is possible I discussed information of a private nature. I did not make contact with Himmelsbach until late fall of 1996. I was advised early on to keep a log of every contact - thus my log books and phone bills are available. Most of the calls were on my nickel. This forum knows the story about what Duane told me in the hospital the day he decided to cease diaylsis and that on the second day under the influence of medication told the story about the bucket. If I was looking for fame - I could have signed book deals and movie deals a LONG time ago. I chose to have proof and to take the hard road of discovery - because I wanted to know the truth. Not one moment was I prepared to experience what I have endured - I never dreamt it would be this hard or this heart breaking. I guess my world has always been some what sheltered - I was totally unaware of how cruel, malicious and devious the world has become. Considering the economics of America and the toll all of the above has taken on my life - the truth doesn't seem very important anymore...I find it hard to abandon the very being of my existence. My standards and my values have always been high, but I should know at my age that not everyone has those same values. I do not understand this world anymore. I will do one last thing before I end this - somehow I will go to Seattle and the FBI needs to sit down with me and show me these things they made available to the "team" such as Duane's records and interivews they conducted. This business of saying Duane was with family on Thanksgving of 1971 - I have tapes and letters stating differently and who is Margaret. If the FBI has had this all of these yrs and did not verify it - this is a sad state of affairs. To all you guys, even "my baboon" Thank You. I know I said I was not going to post, but I could not just put it down on such a negative note.
