No, the Cuervo is in ADDITION to the Corona and Jack... This is turning into a friggin expensive weekend! _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

April, I'll be there for saturday and sunday only. I'd love to meet you. If you're there then, make yourself easy to find. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

Jeeze. She's got me bringing nearly that much down to AOT next weekend. 48 bottles of corona 26 ounces of jack daniels and a yet unspecified amount of margarita supplies. Oi! _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

Much better! _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

Yeah, come to bryan. Even I'll be there! _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I'd agree with you. However, I'd rather live in a relaly nice house then a dump, rather drive a BMW then a Chevy, and if I'm not attracted to my wife there's something fundamentally wrong. I don't think any of these things make me superficial. And yes, I'm relatively young, live downtown, and am a profesional. Yuppie. Guilty. I don't think I've got anything to apologise for, either. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

wide angle/"fish eye" lens recommendations...

No. But I'm surprised you actually WANT walley-vision. Sure, it gives some neat visuals, but to use this as an every day lense would suck, IMHO. Kenko. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. -
How do you do it? Well, that's probably something you should ask your parents. I will say, start with a two-way with low grips. Go from there. If you wear helmets, make sure they're open face. Extra points for tongue action. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I don't know about number of colors, but Parapac is smoother, slicker, and shinier. It's less durable, and when it fades it's a whole lot more obvious. Most people get cordura. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

There ARE advantages. It's easier to pull the slider down, and you rule out having to replace slider-bumpers. Both - to me, are compelling enought to spend the $10. Wether s-links are more durable then stainless french links will be debated for eons, I'm sure. I do think it's perfecty fair to say that they're durable enough for someone who does regular gear checks. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I bought the Kenko .5 as a general use wide angle lense. It works pretty good. I intentionally bought a bigger number because I do plan on getting the .3 at some point. The .5 does not give any walley-vision, but either does the .47. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. -
Actually, once (if) bluetooth phones become more popular, you'll be able to post your stills to dz.com without using a laptop in the middle. Plus, you'll be able to send the stills via email straight from the camera. Kinda cool, if you ask me. I'm just waiting for a bluetooth keyboard to come out, so you can actually type without trying to use the touchscreen. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

Amy, I'm sure you'll be just fine. Most of the problems with poorly fitting harnesses have been fixed by getting better harnesses. Also, most tandem instructors give you the controls for most of the canopy ride, so you'll have some degree of control. Don't worry about it, just go and have fun. If you've got any worries, talk to your instructor. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
-
Tandem students occaisionally get sick. It's mostly got to do with a poorly fitting harness and the lack of student control over the canopy. Students don't generally get sick under their own canopy. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I think you have a pretty short memory. Perhaps you've forgotten the Irish, the Spanish, Mexican, never mind any of the 20 odd countries in South America, southeastern asia, or Africa that have been actively kidnapping, murdering, and blowing things up for political gain? Hell, Quebec had terrorist groups not that long ago. Or, maybe you were talking about terrorist attacks directly against the US. What other events can you blame on Arabs? _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I think that's exactly the point - in places like California, they DON'T have the rights you just mentioned. Students are required to recite. Even if they were given the option of remaining silent, I think that would still qualify as having it shoved down their throat. BTW - I don't really have strong feelings either way. Since I don't plan on ever getting my US citizenship, it really isn't an issue for me either way. I do think it's a very interesting debate. I will say that I'm completely fascinated at how strongly people believe in words that were only written 30 years ago. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

Here's the dimensions: PC101: 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 4" 1lb, 4 oz w/ battery PC120BT: 2 3/8 " x 4 7/8 " x 4 7/8" 1lb, 4oz w/ battery (width, height, depth) taken from www.sonystyle.com Same weight. 2 1/4 inch wide vs 2 3/8 - pretty insignificant difference in terms of width - the most important dimension. The extra resolution applies only to digital stills. Is it important? Well, like any choice in what you buy, it depends on what you're going to use it for. To me, because I take digital stills, the increase in resolution is worth it. The weight has not been an issue for me, even when wingnut packed me a slammer... _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

It's a zero sum game. There is no winnable outcome, given the rules. Good outcomes are only available through breaking the rules. I'd die valiently trying to kill all the bad guys. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
