It's even less then .5 If the odds of a false positive on the first test is 5% and the odds of a false positive on the second test is 0.5%, then you multiply the two to get the odds of a false positive on both of them, or %.025 - pretty good odds, if you ask me. Manditory drug testing of pilots at DZ's at bigger DZ's is getting more and more common. Instructors should be included as well, IMHO. I'm getting sick of all the waivers in skydiving. Most of these waivers aren't worth the paper they're printed on if it's the case that the instructor was stoned. There's a few recent events that I wish I'd handled differently. Despite this, I really do think it's important to remember that humans are falliable - we all do things and make choice we regret. If you read the postings in the slashdot article I posted, most of the camera geeks agreed the resoution of most consumer grade 35mm cameras is about 13 Megapixels. That makes this one pretty close... What this will do for sure, is make the current batch of 6 megapixel cameras a whole lot more affordable. I just wish the digital SLR's were affordable, but this is also only a matter of time. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

You won't be able to open it most video editing programs because of the digital rights management microsoft is trying to force on people. I don't have any MWV's handy to try this on, but in Media Player you can go Tools / Options, select the Copy tab, and make sure "Protect content" is unchecked. I've flown countless times in the last year. I've been to almost every major hub aiport in the US, plus a few in Canada. If you happen to be flying through an airport with the new federalised security - awesome! These guys are well trained, know the rules, and never give hassles without a good reason. If you're stuck with some dumbass from Argenbright, well - it's going to be hit and miss. If you do get stopped, they'll hand you off to a supervisor who usually knows the rules. I've never been delayed by more then 5 minutes, usually when I'm already running late for my flight. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

This is always a delicate subject, especially today. However, I will post an article published in Canada's The Globe and Mail, outlining that over 60% of Canadians think the US's foreign policy is partly to blame for the attacks. http://makeashorterlink.com/?F67D522C1 The Globe and Mail is a very well respected newspaper, tending towards a republican (conservative) viewpoint. A similar Associate Press article came out last week outlining similar numbers from Europe, but I can't link to it because it's expired off the site I read it from. I'm on the Subaru wagon too. My brother has one. The performance of the base model with the 2.0 is sufficient, but not impresive. Make sure you get the 2.2 engine at least, or splurge for the WRX. They rock. They come pretty much loaded, I think the only option is an engine upgrade and fog-lights... the price is great, and reliability is typical of Japanese cars. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I've suggested a wing-loading entry a few times. I don't really understand why people object. It seems to me that it's just like any other field on the profile, if you don't want it published, then don't fill it in. 1.5 - 1.6 under my Stiletto, depending on how much beer I drink. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
