One of my best friends is married to an Argentinian, so he took up the yerba mate habit years ago and he's been hooked since. One week back in 1997 he stayed with me and I drank it every day with him. I didn't have hallucinations, but I did get really wired up and had trouble sleeping. And after he left, I felt headaches because I think my body was getting used to drinking it daily (stopped drinking it when he left). Anyway, I hope you're enjoying the psychedelic experience.
