I still don't know if the man card should be taken away without hearing the specific charges. However, if he is found guilty of violating any of the man rules then for 24 hours from the time of the violation he will be considered NOT a man. During this time he will not be referred to in any masculine way, and he shall bear the name Princess. After the 24 hour period please try and set up a threesome with you and another hot babe. Well a man card is a requirement to be accepted as a respectable member of the male community and it can and should be revoked by other respectable males for doing non-respectable male things. Unfortunatey giving a temporary man card to a women would necessitate an instant revocation. However, if we need to take away HIS man card because he cried in public watching a chick flick or some other equally egregious event, please let us know so that we may take action. I ordered a jump suit from another manufacturer of jump suits and everyone told me how solid and indestructible they were. Mine was done poorly and I found out it was because they were training a new person to sew the suits. So.....I'm sure Tony sews exceptionally well but if he ever has other people do some of the work they may not be as careful. Luckily I was able to take my suit to Firefly suits and Sherry fixed the problems for me. The suit was not a Firefly suit. I agree this is a serious charge and I still say WTF. Surely the law's intent wasn't to throw a mom in jail and take her kids because she stressed out over her children's behavior. Again no one was seriously hurt and I'm sure some lessor charges could have been considered. This seems like a real slippery slope to go down. I would hate to think of how long my mom's rap sheet would have been if she had recieved jail time for swatting my butt every time I misbehaved in public. Yeah I also read this and thought WTF. We have rapists and bank robbers who get less time in prison and aren't fined $250,000 dollars. There is a big difference in swatting a kid and causing serious injury to a kid. Of course I don't condone hitting a kid just for the hell of it but I think a lot of problems with kids would get better if the old spare the rod spoil the child philosophy made a come back in society. Hey somethinelse, Here are my .02 cents. Know the winds in order to determine the spot and if possible check out the DZ on the way to altitude. On jump run make an assessment if based on the winds, the spot is good. After exiting the plane, turn and find the DZ. Again based on the spot if you are last out of the plane you can pull high if the spot is bad. Pulling your brakes down can help get you back from a bad spot if you are running with the wind. Learn to find that spot on the ground that doesn't move while under canopy. This is where you will land and after going to brakes if you still can't make the DZ you will know at a high enough altitude to find a good alternate landing area. Yeah get a crappy Trek like the guy named Lance Armstrong who won the Tour De France 7 times To the poster asking about the Trek 1600, it is a good starter bike. It has an aluminum frame vs a full carbon frame and so the road vibrations will be a little more noticable. It does have a carbon fiber fork and that will help reduce the vibrations. The shifters are STI shifers and that is what you want. A friend of mine just got one and she had a WSD model and if you are a small to medium sized women you might want to consider getting a women specific design model as well. This means the top tube is slightly smaller and allows women with smaller arms not to have to stretch out across the bike to shift and brake. Hope this helps. It isn't so much about speed as much as it is about your pedal cadence. i.e. going into a strong headwind and averaging 13 MPH/21 KPH vs having a strong tail wind and averaging 26 MPH/42 KPH. Most elite cyclist keep their cadence high and many of them average 95 revolutions per minute or higher. Just starting out it is good to try and stay above 80 revolutions per minute.
