I jump with my youngest daughter and she should get her "C" this summer. I have done tandems with my other daughter and my wife. I have two sons and the oldest is a captain in the military. He is a military static line jumper and he wants to start AFF this summer when he comes back from being stationed in Germany. My youngest son also wants to take AFF this summer as well. So............I'm hoping to do some family four way in the future or at least a family funnel dive.

Since it was brought up AGAIN. Let me state the majority opionion regarding the underage tandem jump with the terminally ill student. It was blown way out of proportion. In the past, the USPA BOD has granted MANY waivers for the same set of circumstances. Would they have done it again? Common sense says that they would have given the waiver to a tandem master with THOUSANDS of jumps in an effort to give some pleasure to a terminally ill patient. NO the waiver wasn't on file prior to the jump but I say again the majority opinion was one of support knowing that the waiver was a minor technicality Think of how stupid the average person is and realize that statistically half of them are stupider than that.

I use the optima and I really like it. It is easy to use and it sits comfortably in my helmet. However, it is not a Darth Vader helmet and so yours may or may not be as comfortable.

I don't know about AK but Iowa law does have provisions that allow military members to carry an expired license until they leave the military. I think that it varies by state but I could be wrong. I never had a problem showing an expired license to policemen but that could be because I lived around a military base and they were familiar with the law. I don't understand your statement. If the course had 25 students and 16 passed then this would be a pass rate of 64 percent. Of course I readily admit that I am not a super cool math whiz and so please explain what I am missing. Please explain why I need 1600 people.
