Any time, my friend! -
1:1:1 Just one jump Sat- a really nice 8-way attempt -beer for me - Base built really well and as the last of the swoopers were docking it funneled big time- Bodies all aver the place- we managed to get the base rebuilt before breakoff- I had a blast! we had experience levels from 50 jumps up to 2,000 plus- really cool! Had it on video, too- Then the wind picked up with gusts up to 30 - So I loaded up my bike and went for a putt before heading back to the house- Not a bad day at all!

Tell ya what- You have the chance to jump the rig that's available at your DZ? Go for it and see how you like it- IMHO you'll be taking the better route - Kinda like test driving a used car- Know what I mean? ---D
-
Right handed here- never knew there was a left or right to packing- Interesting- I'm going to be sit flying this weekend for the beer time- Does that mean anything?
-
My Slipstram is pretty snug too- but not too restricting really- Getting a suit off-the-shelf you have that risk of it not fitting perfectly- I wouldn't think your JM will have a problem with you using it, but check just the same- --D

Hey- Y'never know - Maybe we'll see her at WFFC sometime-
-
Yes indeed VERY cute - If she ever comes to East Troy to jump the first ride is on me!
-
Haven't made out with one either - Yet........... That might change someday----
-
I think it actually takes just one dzdotcommer to change a lightbulb but it has to really want to change- axe96bam jumps at our DZ- Havn't had the privlege of jumping with him yet but we have partied together-

Packing began as a difficult process for me also- I think it does for all students. I went as far as to take my rig out in the largest room in my house, push the furniture around, and practice packing at home- I'd do this 4-5 times over the week. Now I can pack reletively quickly, but am still building up speed while keeping things under control. Soon I'll be able to speed-pack with confidence. Main reasons I don't use a packer is 1. - I'm a cheapskate - paying a packer means less money for jumps and 2. - If have a bad opening or malfunction the only person I can blame is myself- Although I have been offered a packing job by one of our load organizers/coaches - I'm thinking of taking him up on it- (more $ for jumps!) My .02!

I think I've got a set of ultimate skydiver's wheels- 93 Ford Ranger, 4x4, extended cab, with a cap- Lots of room for gear, good for hauling wood to the DZ for bonfires, can be a good place to crash for the night, and gets decent mileage- What more could you want?

I'm going to die and go to hell!! My jumpsuit has some poly and cotton in it! I'm damned!!!

Congrats, man! Just got mine myself - Feels good, eh?

Rantoul, IL - where Chanute Air Force Base used to be- Latest issue of Parachutist as a neat aerial photo of the place- Should be helpful-

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Johnny. BSBD, bro- -D

Quickly and painlessly- Definitely NOT rotting away in some godforsaken nursing home- or hooked up to some life-support machine-
-
I love my Z-1 - Lots of tips posted here on the fogging here- Practice opening it on the ground- I pop mine open under canopy to help with fogging- I have also discovered I can wear my sunglasses under it quite nicely, and since I wear contacts, this helps with the dry eyes problem- If you use an audible, be careful with the pockets- they're not the most secure. I'm working out a Velcro method to keep them in the pocket for no worries- Blue ones- -D

now THAT is alcohol abuse! How could anyone be so careless in or around a beer truck!? Unbeleiveable!!!
-
I'm goofing off while I should be putting parts lists together for a major machine rebuild- Wearing: Steel toe work boots- Badly faded jeans with many grease stains Blue coton work shirt - complete with lots of little holes burned in from cutting and/ or welding work- No wedding band - Look of annoyance 'cuz I just got word i have to go to a manger's meeting- And they KNOW I hate these things- So I act like the class clown-- Must be they need some comic releif! I am SO glad it's Friday! Can't wait to go jump the Otter tomorrow!!
-
I stick mine in the ear hole, light to the outside, and hold it in place with rubberbands- works like a charm!
-
Hey, bro- Sorry about your loss - most sincerely- Sounds the folks at the DZ will work with you- It would be cool to take your AFF and get your A/B maybe C ticket up north, then in the dead of winter when everyone is freezing, take a week off and jump your ass off !! This may have been meant to be-- You may really need that jumping vacation this winter!!! I know I'll envy you- I jump year -round in Wisconsin BUT - Cold is still cold~~!!! Blue ones!!! Heal quick! Drink beer!!
-
People ask me if I've ever/ if I wat to bungy jump- And I tell not only no but hell no- Besides - Like was said earlier - Skydiving is sssssoooooooooooooo much better - Better rush, cooler people, and it's such a wonderful lifestyle!!! We're all cool - we're skydivers!

I must agree with Tigra about the ZuteSute - Jennifer and Martin are regulars here - and LOTS of thier suits are in use- Very well made, and the price is definitely right!
