  1. Correction: I choose to go to school. As I consequence of that choice, I am at times unable to work. While you may only see it as semantics, that is different than choosing not to work. If the option were available, I would choose to do both. Unfortunately, at this point in spacetime, that is not an option available to me. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! 2. I stand corrected, Ron. You have in fact contributed a compassionate post within the last year. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  3. I haven't changed my story a bit. Clarified it for those who insist on implying I am lazy, but it has not changed a bit. And, no, I don't have access to healthcare. Its not my standard of employment that is keeping it from me, it is my standard of education. More specifically, since I desire and am working towards an education, my remaining options do not include access to healthcare. I cannot think of a single good reason why citizens of the richest nation on earth should have to choose between an education and healthcare. Yes, the system is flawed. And when I have advanced degrees and am making enough money to provide myself with basic necessities, I will still claim the system is flawed. I've never been known to just shut-up and color. 4. That's rich, Ron, considering you were the one (falsely) claiming that I refuse to work, and that if I am not willing to make the sacrifices necessary to obtain healthcare (quit school or change course of study to allow a work friendly schedule). You don't seem to think we need to help our own. BTW, I readily admit that I am nowhwere near the most needy in this country, but I have not seen you show compassion for anyone, foreign or domestic, with the exception of Shrub and his cronies. 5. You keep saying that, but continue to fail to support the statement with evidence. Where is the legislation directing Shrub to use force? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  6. I already served my time Ron. As for draft dodgers, I admire anyone with the backbone to stand for what they believe in. Are you saying that the higher rate of terrorist attacks worldwide is a safety precaution? Driving desperate people to desperate measures is not doing positive things for world or national security, regardless of how Shrub spins it. Neither an MBA nor a pilot's license are prerequisites of intelligence. With a powerful daddy to pull strings (not that there is anything wrong with a father helping his son) they are not even indicators of intelligence. Yeah, lying about a blowjob is what ultimately caused the war on terror. It would be very dificult to demonstrate that Clinton was nearly as corrupt as Shrub. Math tutoring available. 7. Then you are demonstrating that you know nothing about me. But, you are free to make uninformed judgements; many do it all the time. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  9. I hardly find it fair that pharmaceutical company get subsidized research funds, and pass those costs onto patients. Not to mention the tax loopholes. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  10. Whatever you say Ron. I'm still waiting for you to make good on your offer of job leads, or was that just BS? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  11. Historically, has democracy ever been successfully forced upon anyone? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  12. Consiser the profit potential of allopathic medicine vs. alternatives. Those profits (about 40% annually in pharmaceuticals) is indeed keeping our healthcare system from operating at full potential. One reason so many people / doctors favor integrated medicine. 13. Nor have I blamed anyone, Ron. You can paint me as lazy as you want to, but that does not make it true. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  14. If we had ranked voting, Nader would have been my first choice; unfortunately, we do not have ranked voting. Nader has a lifetime of experience fighting corporations as a consumer advocate. Of course, without corporate support, if only via major network news coverage, there is little chance at all of getting elected. Ironic. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! 15. I think he would have gained a lot more respect than he would have lost. To me it would have shown that he had the integrity to say that although he is a conservative Republican, his allegiance is to his country before his party. Besides, Kerry is not nearly as liberal as Shrub's camp made him out to be during the campaign. He has had oppurtunities in the past to work with McCain. Perhaps they make a very effective team, and work well together, and Kerry wanted to take advantage of that fact. Maybe McCain already had his eye on 2008. We don't know why he didn't run. 16. I was disappointed he lost the nomination in 2000, and also disappointed he didn't accept Kerry's potential offer to share ticket. While he is definitely far right of my political view, he has a history of bipartisan politics, and a level of integrity unmatched by Shrub. While he would probably not get my vote, I could still feel good about supporting him as POTUS if he did win. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  19. Here's a pretty impeccable source: "And frankly [UN Resolutions/Sanctions] have worked. [Saddam Hussein] has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors. So in effect, our policies have strengthened the security of the neighbors of Iraq, and these are policies that we are going to keep in place, but we are always willing to review them to make sure that they are being carried out in a way that does not affect the Iraqi people but does affect the Iraqi regime's ambitions and the ability to acquire weapons of mass destruction, and we had a good conversation on this issue." Colon Powell Cairo, Egypt February 24, 2001 http://www.state.gov/secretary/rm/2001/933.htm Damn it! I ended up putting time and effort into it, anyway! Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! 20. I dissent, which is, in the current political climate, a very good thing for the country. Obviously, based on job performance, Shrub knows hardly anything about running a country either. The world is a far more dangerous place, thanks to him. I'm still laughing that you are defending the guy's intelligence. He can't consistently complete sentences, and constantly makes poor decisions. Call me old fashioned, but that is not what I consider highly intelligent. One thing about leading that Shrub does not seem to get is that inaction is often more productive than action. And we are all the worse for this lack of understanding. Math tutoring available. 21. I had already seen the clip. I didn't need to spend the time or effort to find it somewhere else, excepting that someone could give a legitimate reason why Moore's film was not a valid bibliographical source for that clip. But, I agree that a direct link would be better, so how about posting them? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  23. Like I said, the clips were authentic. I pointed out one source for them. Any more would have been redundant. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  24. That's not likely to happen as long as the pharmaceutical companies are raking in 40% annual profits. It doesn't affect the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies, or a host of other alternatives to allopathic medicine. With our current system, doctors are the third leading cause of death in the US. Unless, of course, JAMA lied about that. http://www.mercola.com/2000/jul/30/doctors_death.htm Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
