Since NOBODY has kissed my ass in a loooong time...
BIGUN replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
Somebody needs a spanking. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I had a nine year break. Part of it was trying to recover from a broken back on a military jump. Part of it was an attempt to live amongst the "normals." My first jump after nine years was spiritual. Welcome back. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Isn't that a requisite for residency? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Back on track: Hooknswoop - always makes me think and challenges me to learn more. Flyangel2 - always makes me think and challenges me to learn more. Kallend - always makes me think and challenges me to learn more. Billvon - always makes me think and challenges me to learn more. Rhonda L. Always has wise advise Skymama - makes me want a spanking when she's spanking someone else for cutting it too close to the edge. AggieDave - always willing to help those around him to learn more. AFFI - Mykel is always willing to help newbies. Winsor - tells it like it is an backs it up with factual shit that I find irritating. I miss SDU coach, both in jumping and for his wisdom and kindness. upndownshop for being a friend. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

A-license proficiency card question?
BIGUN replied to link2334's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You can send it in for your "A" License (keep a copy). The stamp is supposed to be on there if you're visiting other DZ's and using it as your "A" license. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
Bonnie says... Nuff said. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Thank you. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

OK, Great. That actually goes in the logbook as a skydive. You got to feel the air. Now, let's move forward to being a solo skydiver. Whaddaya still reading this for? Get on with it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Anyone know that music track, please? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

My hunch is that someone gave it to them and it didn't have a by-line. My hope is they give you the credit due. Their hope is that I don't smack 'em for not. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

You want me to shut their copyrighted website down or just copy it? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I purchased the iPod 60 gig for the navigation menu, color screen, size of screen and numerous choices of peripheral devices. I also found iTunes very user friendly. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Oh Puhleeeese. You think that a soldier does anything a little bit? Yeah, a dollar or a 100K wouldn't have shown the world he's pissed about it. Go get in a firefight, lose your arms, have someone disparage your views and get back wiith me. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Whaddya expect him to do - sue for a buck? His attornies came up with the number. Hell, it's hard to win a million in a wrongful death, He knows that, the attorneys know that. This is about making a point for him and his fellow veterans as being "left behind." Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
-
Not for this young warrior. He's pissed and trying to make a point. Someone pointed at him and used him to make a point from their disparate side of the platform. He doesn't give two shits about the money. He'd much rather kick the shit out of Moore. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

A licenses are encouraged. The boogies mission is to help newer jumpers move up, gain awards, etc. The spirit of SkyFest is the memorial tribute of Jerry Schrimsher whose passion was to help all those with less than a 100 jumps. It was not unusual to see Jerry taking a bunch of folks with 50 jumps on a raft dive, making fun jumps, that kind of thing. You will be welcome with open arms. First Time Traveling with Rig !!!??

Things to consider for success: 1. Carry the cypres card, 2. Carry your USPA card. 3. Carry a copy of this letter with you. http://www.tsa.gov/interweb/assetlibrary/PTT_Parachuting_102003.pdf 4. Explain the reason for the FAA seal. 5. Attitude is key - be prepared to educate. And, as others have said; protect your handles. Brainstorming is good. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the BMI. A lot of skydivers would flunk it, myself included and just about every body builder on the planet. A simple statement on the website that, "Height and weight must be proportionate." And another that states, "Maximum weight loadings for skydiving equipment are defined by the gear manufacturers" should suffice.
