I won that about three years ago. It was horrible I tell ya. Walking up and down the plane with the women spanking my arse to altitude. It was the most humiliating objectified experience of my life. Bill, I'm glad you jumped in here as I review this thread, my thoughts are; based on my observations of the Skyhook's reserve deployment in the field - IMO, the Skyhook would virtually eliminate a reserve PC horseshoe malfunction scenario. Am I way off base? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

The staff & owners are exceedingly professional and friendly. Coach jumps are formalized in writing delineating each point of performance, but most of those "Coach" rated don't charge for more than the slot. A down to earth, easy-going atmosphere that's like a Cessna DZ that just happens to have a turbine. I was welcomed, embraced, introduced around and immediately accepted into doing group jumps. RW'ers & FF'ers get along well, jumping together, filling loads with each other. Give yourself about five jumps to really recognize where the DZ is from altitude. Allow others from the DZ to spot for you for the first few jumps. Everything is flat and green with few landmarks. Fellow skydivers recognize this and point out little things to help you get used to the layout. If you're in the Cleveland/Columbus area, it's a great place to jump even if you have one day.

This will be an interview to interview. The questions will be directed towards those operational/technical/logistical (core) items on your resume that have caught their eye and get you to expand on them. There's a book of recommendations put out by the USPA that is viewable online called the SIM. It can be found at: http://www.uspa.org/publications/SIM/2006SIM/SIM.htm Within that book of recommendations, it states: Minimum container opening altitudes above the ground for skydivers are: 1. Tandem jumps--4,500 feet AGL 2. All students and A-license holders--3,000 feet AGL 3. B-license holders--2,500 feet AGL 4.
