It's the only one I'm rated on, although I've jumped all except the racer. I find them more comfortable than the VII. At the time, the were they only one that came with an Icarus Tandem Main - which I love. The secondary (student) handle has excellent placement for the AFP program since it's almost exactly where the student's BOC will be when they transition to their own rig (plus there's no cable snake to deal with). Rumor has it they will be back in full production in the near future. An entire new rig setup cost me $7500 three years ago including AAD. And herein lies the problem. You alluded in the first reply that it was "safe." The fact is - is that it is not and we cannot legally, morally or ethically say it is. More to your point quoted above. GO to the DZ as much and as often as you like. Ask questions, read the articles on here, etc. Personally, I dont know how to be successful at baking a cake.
