Why don't most Riggers (whom are computer savvy), create a recurring meeting planner for both themselves and their customers so that both parties are notified. Here's one created with a recurrence every 110 days. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Actually, I did a military night jump some many years ago in Florida. Part of the MACO briefing was, "Do not land on that side of the road; there's alligators on that side." Sure as shit... Me & the CSM are drifting over. I'm trying to climb up the side of of the -1B to spill air. Little red lookin things all over the place on the other side of the road. CSM is a black guy (now I only bring this up because only black guys really know how to say "Motherfucker" with the proper emphasis when they're pissed). We hit about four feet on the wrong side of the road and Jesus had nothing on us. He just walked on water. We was running. I go up to the CSM and in my best smartass voice ask, "Bill, where's your gear?" It was the longest run on sentance of expletives I'd ever heard. I was crackin up. But wait. They come to collect us up and the E-6 (SSG) Rigger goes up to the CSM and asks him where his gear is? I'm thinking - this is gonna hurt. And it did. The Rigger asks me the same thing and I point out to the marsh and tell him it's right next to the CSM's. The Rigger asks us who's going to go get them? We both look at him and the CSM says, "Son, you know how to write up a training loss? If not, then you get to go get them." Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Most folks hit the wall somewhere between their 30th and 75th jump. You just took a little longer. My advice has been to push past it has been to go do ten "all about you freedom jumps." Whether they be solo HnP's or whatever to push past it. Glad you're past it. Have fun. Took some grit and a great circle of support. Welcome back. It's an easy sport to walk away from; but the hardest one not to look back on. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Just close your eyes on a couple of jumps and we'll call it good. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Side-By-Side:Do you induce a downplane and cut away?
BIGUN replied to onlyood's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Rob, On a side-by-side: What's your thoughts on nudge turns - just using the riser of one canopy to nudge turn the other. i.e., Need to go right, use the right risers of the left canopy to nudge the right canopy? Side-By-Side:Do you induce a downplane and cut away?
BIGUN replied to onlyood's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Dependant on altitude - yes. Why - in order to ensure I don't get a downoplane when it's too late to do anything about it. The vid of the two-out, low cutaway at WFFC was too low (IMO) and the resulting lack of injuries was luck. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
The breadth of requirements for the license structures is sufficient. I; like Popsjumper believe there should be more depth to the PLF and spotting training. Regarding nightjumps... I believe if there were more depth to the night jumps training, people wouldn't be so adverse to it. Night jumps are there for a reason. Some day, some time, one's going to cut the sunset jump too close and the night jumps training is beneficial even if it's just on the other side of nautical twilight.. Point: Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Couch Freaks ....any Anvil Brothers?
BIGUN replied to WLDMAN's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, I will not be able to attend this year. But, I'm hoping that you'll start an "Anvil Brothers Couch Freaks" thread and give us a head count and some good stories. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I'll plan on it.
