First, Congratulations. Second: I am REALLY glad you clarified that. After loooking at the picture, I was thinking, "Now, surely that was a Ranger unit. Please tell me that was a Ranger unit and that the whole "Black Beret" debacle wasn't twelve years ago already!?!??! Again, Congrats... 12 years in and of itself is quite a feat these days, much less with an SOF guy. That is a testament to your fortitude. He's a lucky man. I would add to Bonnie's response that, if you have to choose betwen new & used; it's better to go with the new harnesss/container custom-fitted to you and get used canopies since you plan on eventually downsizing. I voted 3 months (oops - meant 4). Personally, I just like having a rigger looking at my shit every 120 days. $45.00 bucks for another set of eyes to look at my stuff is easy to justify. Even if it went to a six month AIR, I'd still get it done every 120 days. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

Yeah, but there's cops on the DZ. We coulda stayed at Quincy for that!! I'll be down at Skyfest on the 11th thru 17th... We'll finally get a chance to meet? I'm going to be moving to Orlando the end of July. Any suggestions on a really nice high-end corporate apartment complex that can do all-inclusive (furniture, internet, etc.) would be helpful. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Now you wait for a Dr. to look at it. Most folks are a lot more receptive to information exchange if they know more about the person. If you haven't heard anything in a ocuple of days, send me a PM and I can put you in touch with a couple of skydiving doctors. Non-skydiving doctors are more wary of giving a go ahead - but if a skydiving doctor says, uh uh, take their word for it. Hmmm.... Skymama, Do we let former Marines skydive? I thought we'd made a rule about that a few years ago? Welcome to skydiving. Former Army guy at age 47ish comes up to me and says, "Hey, you think at my age I can take this up and do something with it or am I too old? He just turned 50, just turned a 1000 skydives and is a skydiving videographer. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
