I really hate hearing this. Please go find someone on your DZ, bring some beer after the beer light's on and ask for additional help. IT really is performance-oriented training best learned by observation and then by the numbers assistance. I am!!! As it happens, I'm moving to Florida the end of this month. I'm going to be locating our company down there. At the time the criteria for the SL/IAD course was developed, it was 100 jumps + at least 3 years in the sport. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

From a former DZO perspective, that would have cost them twice as much for half the tandem video - which would have been explained up-front. I'm not going to get into the whole handi-cam/vidiot debate. If I were to open a DZ again tomorrow, I'd have video folks. Thank you for the invitation. Thanks for your help on the SCRs. Thanks to Jamie, J., Stan, for putting on the boogie. And mucho thanks to the Boyd family for letting us play in their yard, the pilots who demonstrated their professionalism on every takeoff and landing (ESPECIALLY the takeoffs ) and the people who came, those who donated their time and/or money. It was my pleasure, Andy. There is no greater satisfaction tha to see a bunch of up & coming skydivers seeing the goals that can be achieved and landing with great big smiles on their faces.
