yes. I like women. Always have...though I can't say I fully understand them... Still I try to keep learning and women are a very interesting source for all sorts of information so i read there from time to time... men are not disallowed to post there, as long as they aren't behaving like "boys" instead of "men"..... hahahaha...and once in a while i will contribute something... so far so good....

For certain,,,, Amur Tigers are majestic, mysterious, graceful and confident..... ...BUT my favorite, is the largest currently living land Mammal, the African Elephant... .... and Lucky ME !!! I have TWO of them who live 200 feet from my back Yard !!!!! True!!!!! our city Zoo is located in a park which adjoins my property.... They just built a new home for their two lady African Elephants.... and I can visit them...... NO Charge,,, whenever i like, by taking a short hike through the woods... ( the zoo also has Amur ( siberian ) Tigers ) .. One of the females had kittens !!!! hahahahah who would think of a TIGER as a kitten !!???? but it's true.. now there are 3 youngsters and 2 adult tigers... Attached are pics, of my sister and me from last weekend... and of the ONLY two African Elephants in the entire state of New York..

She seemed kinda dorky and "studious" from the pictures I've seen of her in her college days.....but I won't hold that against her....since I too was dorky when I was in college, ( just ask ANY of the girls I asked to go out with me )....

maybe... save the trouble altogether, of dealing with airport security, close quarters in the aircraft, and delays caused by TSA .... and ship the rig to whatever DZ you plan to visit... If you contact them ahead of time, and send it well in advance, cost for ground shipping is reasonable.... Plus.... if you're due for a reserve repack,,, make arrangements for it to be done a few days before YOU arrive.... just my $.02........

for so long i have enjoyed the monthly publications within our sport, and would smile whenever I saw a photo, cover shot, or calendar page which was of Denny "Bear" Gainor.. ... I never had the pleasure to meet him,,,, but came to know his name through those pictures... I also feel like I came to Know his (likely) personality, while he was on the dropzone...... His santa pics... led me to believe he was "jolly", his smiles led to to believe he was Happy, and his unique self portraits, Boom mounted cameras,, balloon exits, etc. led me to believe he Loved skydiving....... I believe I was right. to his friends and family.... i wish.. peace... jmy...

The desire to truly help where we perceive that help is needed is a noble one. but one that be easily misused, or misapplied. The American or European couple who may want to 'save' such a child may not fully understand the culture, or business dealings or familial connections and customs of so many far away places...The world is very complicated. I never seem to hear about the CHILD's perspective of the whole matter.. Wouldn't they feel as if they are being yanked away from the only family they know, be it a blood family or a community family.. The kids seem to have little say in the matter, especially infants.... It is a bad situation.... and lawrockets points are valid,,,, thanks to the media created thirst for such "news" events.... Much ado about Nothing... Those who have benefited financially and in noteriety, because of our crazy culture should not continue to use their influence and wealth to cast the spotlight on themselves.... enough already !! Rather, they might use the power that they wield to help hospitals, schools villages and communities world wide... Better that a thousand kids can be healthy happy and living an acceptable lifestyle...( meager as it may be by Madonnas standards...)than to take One child, displace that child and raise that child in a lavish, or conspicuous way... These various 'civic minded' stars.. might consider establishing Foundations and Organizations which could help simplify, legitimize and bring an element of fairness,,, to the complicated and touchy field of cross cultural Adoption... jmy

not sure if it's real or fake..... but it does give some insight into how GREEDY and Gullible some people can be... The odds of "having the one million " in YOUR case..... is 1 chance in 26.....right??? To my way of thinking... those odds don't really change as the game progresses.... .....so when Howie,,, ( whom I really Really Like !!! ) is saying.... "you have a One in Four chance of having a million"... I don't follow the reasoning... it's just statistical mumbo-jumbo..... a friend of mine with whom I have jumped for over 30 years was thinking about gear this spring... I have been on injured reserve list, and my main ( and reserve) are a bit larger than his,,,, so I said,, hell just take my rig and have fun.... he paid for the reserve repack which was due, and also stepped up and covered the cost for the cypres '4-year'.....I have a VERY short list,,,, of people to whom I would loan my gear.... but HE is on it.... what goes around comes around...

"stuck in the burble" ...... Maybe more accurately " stuck in the pack tray..." If the Pilot chute was only partly cocked, and therefore exerting insufficient drag,, the bagged canopy could stay wedged in the main pack tray of your container,,, How big a person are you,,, sizewise,,,???were you jumping a large sized main +200 sq ft.??? which may have been packed into a "tight " container.????... a less than fully cocked pilot chute, might not be able to extract the bag, the way it should..... Who did the pack job????? i.e. who cocked or didn't cock the P C. ??? and REMEMBER... a PC which is cocked before bagging the main, can easily have its' kill line, slide 4 or 5 inches, effectively "uncocking itself"...... as you ( or anyone) stuffs the main into the bag. always check,, before you put the bag into the container, and then again just as you are placing the PC into it's pouch.

.... hey well then i am MORE Uncool than grue....cause my main is a 210 (spectre) and my reserve is 225... soo i am 25 square feet MORE uncool, than grue. whoo hoo and cmiller............. it has to do with wingloading, and the idea that your canopies should suit your body size... ( I prefer a WL near 1:1........for any canopy I fly ) . and i'm ok with a larger sized harness/container system.... a smaller person could naturally fly smaller sized canopies... as long as the resultant wingloading does not get tooooo extreme.... landing on the DZ on a well mowed lawn is waaay different than an off field landing, 'who knows where'....... good question. jmy

not sure about Opera ( waaay too classy for ME ) but no doubt they , like most pro athletes, are mostly overgrown , overpaid Kids... Nice work, if you can get it, and while I do enjoy sports... I never quite understood the publics' insatiable thirst for the Pros....nor the willingness to shell out hundreds,, for tickets... Sport on the local level,, kids simply playing for fun, and Adults engaging in sports for the health benefits and emotional growth, ( win or lose) is really what it should be about.... Fact is,,,, as soon as some major sports event is over,,,,, ( world series, Super Bowl etc. ) I'll be damned if I can even Remember who was playing..... hello the ranch is more like 4 and a half, five hours away. Here's the scoop on your options outta the roch. ny area.. 1. Fingerlakes Skydivers. Ovid NY about a half hour North of Ithaca, one and a half hours south east of roch...Cessna 207 and cessna 182 nice people 2. Rochester Skydivers, Albion NY 8 miles or so north of Batavia, (which is ON the thruway)...Cessna 182, nice people 3. Frontier Skydivers, NewFane NY . North east of Buffalo ,,,, 1 and a quarter hours from R I T.... approx. 70 miles west of roch.. Over the years we have had a good number of members who are at the College, or else skydivers who happen to enroll there,,, and then wanna find a good place to jump. Current aircraft King Air...nice people. as we tell all members and visitors, it could be a long day what with travel and all, so not sure if any of these places, can allow for " a quick jump",,, but maybe ....... ps weather this weekend is expected to be very good....you may PM me if you need more details jimmy a3914 d12122
