  1. No joke weeks ago when this hit I though it was already policy to stop travel from these places, and have people coming in be questioned about their travels at customs when trying to come to the us. Shit when I give blood I have to answer if I have have paid for sex or had sex with anyone from Africa still lol!
  2. I could see the pd using exemption 7 to cya. And charging them a lawyer few to scour over the records to determine if it meets that.
  3. Not when it requires extensive censoring and lawyers. If that was the case you could bankrupt any small town by asking for a ton of sensitive info and make them pay to have it all redacted either by huge manhours or lawyer pay.
  4. He totally passed over bigun's thread
  5. Sounds like they have a lawyer on staff going through the information first making sure they don't release info the need to hold on for court, and passing the cost onto the person making the lawyer do the work. It's not uncommon. We had the same thing happen here. Our city used all private company to handle all city services to save money. Well something came up about a contract and there was a bunch of info requests that the local paper wanted from the city council regarding the budget, and there was actual sensitive info on some of the emails and documents that they had to pay a lawyer to redact. They made the paper pay for the costs
  6. Is the encryption on the new iphone only, or is in the software and will be able to be used on all iPhones?
  7. Whatever I'm done talking to you guys, this place only exists to argue with each other.
  8. That makes no sense. Were talking about an innocent mistake, and your bring in deliberate premeditated acts.
  9. He made a fraction of a second life or death mistake. Making a mistake does not make you an asshole. Calling someone who made a mistake an asshole makes you and asshole.
  10. Kudos to the sheepdog for taking action. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/09/26/Police-Praise-Man-Who-Intervened-Shot-Attacker-Who-d-Already-Beheaded-One-In-Oklahoma
  11. How is he an asshole for making a mistake exactly?
  12. Yes I am sorry I am being general and not entirely focusing on you your right. And to the person who said that I think it's justified your wrong, and I've said that already.
  13. Have you ever watched cops? The bad parts of America are not the kunar valley but your chances of ending up in the shitstorm are pretty high.
  14. Yea when it was mentioned here that Isis was a threat to the us, it was dismissed, and the poster were drug through the streets, well today's news stories show they were right.
  15. I was just asking, the consensus here is yes. Obviously this cop diddnt and people here are bashing him, his training etc., cops are human this shit is gonna happen. Compensate the family, fire the cop, but jail time is overboard in this case IMO.
  16. Answer the first part of my question. Do you expect half a million humans to be 100% right when faced wth a fraction of a second life or death choice?
  17. life or death and the decision has to be made in a fraction of a second do you expect all 500,000+ cops in the us to be 100% accurate? Sure he could have ran, waited till the guy pulled out the gun and did an old west shootout draw. I will tell you action is always faster than reaction. Go watch those 2 videos I posted earlier, those shots happened almost instantly, and one cop died., the other was shot in the face.
  18. Yea your right I guess he should have gotten killed then.
  19. Your missing the point completely. It's not that I'm saying the cop was justified. It's just that he made a mistake, he diddnt premeditate a murder, but people here put out a vibe that spews hate for the cop and can't wait to see him put in jail. They can't fathom a human making a mistake even if they are paid to do it. Not one person commented on the post where I showed cops getting shot in a SPLIT second showing that they work on a different playing field than they do. They don't have to worry about their copy machine killing them at their job if you have never been an officer or combat veteran you can not imagine.
  20. Say your best instructor at your dropzone panicked on landing for whatever reason, and turned into someone and killed them, would you have such a hard on for them getting 20 years in jail, and ruining their lives. Just like a cop we are all charged with not killing eachother especially an instructor.
  21. I bet you would love to see that happen.
  22. Your right, at at no time have I said what the cop did was right, its just that he did not go up and shoot someone with malicious intent. He mad a bad decision that cost him his career, his friends, his mental health, his freedom, his retirement etc.
  23. You have your opinion, and I have mine. There is no way in hell im gonna do a quick spin inside my car like that guy did even if they tell me to get my license. Im gonna tell them I have a concealed carry permit, I have it under my shirt....I would wait for any commands at that point and stand still with my hands outside my pocket. Once that was resolved I would have let them know that it was inside my arm rest, and that I am going to get it. This isnt some new game plan based off of today's cops, its something I have done for 20 years based off of common sense that a fucking cop is human, has a gun and a shitty job of making split second life decisions.
