Yes, it was unfair for him to say the general public does not support the uparmoring of police. There is no data to support it either way, just what's in the media which is biased for ratings, and whoever makes the most noise gets airtime.
-
Your speaking for others when you say the general public does not support the police. Everyone I have talked to personally, and a few people here support it. Also remember the squeaky wheel gets the airtime in tv and Internet media to speak against it. The millions that support it keep on going about their business. Just like reviews in amazon. How many people bought the item and loved it and just never had the need to review it, but you know just about everyone that did not like the item will be giving it a poor review.

Is this true about the Obama administration? Lefties debunk
cvfd1399 replied to mirage62's topic in Speakers Corner
Obama did not order the flags half staff, he only acknowledged the death of Whitney. He did not acknowledge the death of Chris Kyle. Also Chris Christie was the one who ordered NJ flags at half staff for Whitney Houston. -
Yea someone should tell them they could just get an mrap from the 1033 program for the cost of shipping and a few dollars!

ISIS this is what is really going on in the middle east
cvfd1399 replied to Anvilbrother's topic in Speakers Corner
Yep made off with 429 million in gold bullion. I don't see why people think they can't get over to America. You can do a lot of terrorism with 429 million! -

First off Andy I wasn't even talking to you, that reply was to Quade. Second your post was in reply and directed to me, so quit your bullshit. -
I expect you to stop saying meaningless comments just to spark emotion and anger in people. This post had nothing but useless information. A guy said he saw something happen in court, then you jumped up from your cop hating podium and said THERE is the PROOF, and gathered your pitchfork. I said if you got concrete proof if a FELONY, take action report it. Knowing you are just making shit up just to keep an argument going. You reply back with a grammar comment which is classic trolling tactics. I see it over and over from you is all, and I guess your right, I should take others advise and stop feeding you. Have a good day man. Later

I agree we need to get back to taking care of the homeland and fixing america, but that type of letting things go and minding your own business lead to germany getting where they ended up. Not saying ISIS is that level, or anyone is, but there is a level that someone has to step up and smash people like this. Its finding the trigger point, and who is going to take care of it is the problem we are having. No one knows anymore at what level of terrorism or out right invading of a country is the right point for everyone to feel warm and fuzzy about taking action. The second part is just WHO is gonna do the work and pay for it. NATO doesn't do shit but sign papers and warn people, stand in line with blue helmets, most other countries wont do anything either. If America steps up, then holy shit were war mongers again. Its a fucked up thing IMO -

Mine either, and i'm not a republican so you can take your right wing comments and keep them to yourself. I even questioned the authenticity of the info when I stated this in my first sentence. Slow your roll, and quit glassing over a username, and highlighting a post so you can race to the reply button and bash people man. -
An answer instead of more trolling is what I was looking for.

Here you go, wonder if its good intel. http://www.judicialwatch.org/bulletins/imminent-terrorist-attack-warning-feds-us-border/ Infowars link http://www.infowars.com/feds-warn-of-imminent-terror-threat-on-u-s-border/ more local news links http://www.kfoxtv.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/report-isis-ciudad-juarez-plans-attack-car-bombs-6231.shtml#.VAh08mOK3Os -
What is the proof that happens Andys comment? If you got proof, go to the local new station today, and bust the story wide open! If not stop with your trolling.
-
Agreed, can I expect your check in the mail soon, I will alert my local PD they now have a funding source.
-
They do but they are -pretty low quality -only turn on when the emergency lights are turned or 10 sec before a detected crash(stays in loop mode while off) -able to be accessed by officers -only point one direction -require external mics for when officer exits cars -hassle to download. -costly
-
Please tell me how you are going to have a system that has the following features everyone is requesting here -Rugged -Court approved sufficient video and audio quality for legal purposes. -Tamper proof -Wearable and portable -Enough memory to capture a whole 12 hour shift with no gap in recording, OR a proven way to ensure that it turns on when it needs to to reduce memory and battery use. -Remotely disabled by supervisor upon request(bathroom visits, private phone calls?) -Multiple secure backups for legal reasons -Cost effective. -Able to transfer the massive amounts of data fast to the evidence room at the end of shift. 1 hour of gopro video at 1080(30fps) is 9.1 gigabytes. Say your department has 50 officers on duty at a time working 12 hour shifts. Thats 10920 gigabytes to store per day.. or 3985.8 terabytes per year times backups. Anyone care to guess the cost per terabyte for commercial storage? Your looking at a minimum 6 figures for this department using rented space online, and more for your own physical hardware not including start up costs, energy costs, cooling costs, personnel, and hardware replacement.

That isnt the same as talking shit about your command staff amongst coworkers is it....Come on man stop being a troll.
-
Its also a MASSIVE tool used to "gotcha" employees. Two departments here have installed cameras in the stations for "security" once in each department an employee was caught bitching about command between coworkers and was written up for it. Think NSA overuse of privileges on a micro level.
-
Negative, you are putting words in my mouth. That isn't the same as having one strapped to your chest 24/7 recording video and audio. The CCD type of thing exists all the time and no one pays attention to it. I guess your gonna say next that once you strap a camera to yourself you forget about it, and go on about normal tasks. If so you and all 2020023003034 other skydivers better take that gopro under 200 jumps argument and take a walk.
-
As a firefighter you put a camera on my chest, im gone..Not because we plan on doing illegal activities, or are incompetent in our job. We do what we can because we must. I don't need myself or any of my guys split second guessing what to do because a camera is present. Ask Marcus Lutrell what second guessing to do because of what the media would say did for him and his guys.
-
Also it is really hardly used, but since it's the hot topic in the news and on people's mind, any use of CRT/SRT(swat) especially if it goes bad gets plenty of coverage. The guys here in Baton Rouge only get called up once or twice a week, hardly an everyday operation by all police in the states every day as the sheep will have you believe.
-
It happens already, there are even states that have laws clearing the homeowner of any wrong doing in this case if they kill the cop in certain situations. http://thefreethoughtproject.com/state-passes-law-legalize-self-defense-police/

Riots over a shoting turn into free jordans and 40's
cvfd1399 replied to Anvilbrother's topic in Speakers Corner
First off in both cases we don't know what happened as both police departments are still investigating, and both police departments have only released partial information which have been biased towards them being in the clear. Also since when has being visibly upset been a reason for police to shoot someone? Doesn't any of these departments have pepper spray or tazers?
