Why should the government pay for their school, where is personal responsibility? My wife went to a private elementary school all the way through getting her masters without the government paying for her education. Her dad got her through high school, and we paid for the rest on a firefighters salary, and her working her way through odds and end jobs.

I've been the victim of a battery 2 times( random when I was younger), burglarized 3 times (in 7 years), and victim of numerous simple criminal damage to property on my front yard. I'm not a politician..... Ps you always say we republican NRA types want guns for defense. That's only a fraction of the uses for probably over 75% of guowners. I have been a reserve sheriff, hunter, collector, competitive shooter, gun restorer all my life, it's not the only reason to own one.

Everyone pays the same, if that industry can't make it then something will take its place. Govmt needs to get out of helping theses industries for decades, if it won't float on its on, and the people are not willing to pay the increased price let it sink. Things we really need will make it, because its a need not a luxury. If it rights the ship I'm down for paying 12 dollars a gallon for milk.

If that's true I don't that's why I say everyone pay the same, there are no loopholes, no buying of credits, just pay.

The tax code is 70,000+ pages long, I'm pretty sure you can make a hell of a dent by removing this kind of stuff from there.

Why are the rich so evil to you? How about a flat tax, everyone pays 15%(or whatever is needed) from gang bangers to Bill Gates to grandma? Everyone pays their fair share and we can stop all this bullshit about who pays what.

In one year he took 6 vacations for over 30 days off. He went to hawaii(should have stayed at work) flew back for a few days, then spent another 7 million for another trip back. People need time off, but god damn 3 million each way x4, you don't see the problem there? How about a cheaper af1 model, cheaper backup plane to follow around( have they ever really needed the backup to be identical?) limit on personal, or unreimbursed trips. They even use it for campaigns, but only have to pay for tickets for campaign staff members, leaving the burden on us to pay the rest.

The public sector might make a few bucks less or more compared to the private sector, but I guarantee you they work a hell of a lot less hours. Our entire public works, fire dept. admin, police admin, clerk of courts, etc shut down at 3:30 most only work a 7-7.5 hour day. The private guys in the same fields are still working at dark, weekends etc. You can say that an engineer in the private makes 50k and the public makes 40k but by the hour public makes out much better.

Why are you pointing out the GOP on this? You know what never mind it isn't about who done this or that, it's why it's there to begin with, and how did Americans let it stay there.

I still don't understand how we have a death tax. I can understand if some of the estate is things that were going to be taxed if the living would have withdrawn it anyways, that should receive its normal rate like retirement accounts etc. How can things like cash money in the bank, vehicles, and homes etc be taxed again, isn't that double, triple taxation?

He is the leader, you of all people know know you lead by example. Rally the troops, stop the bickering, lead people down the right path, etc. You cant possibly think he has no influence on these people, and is just a man behind a pen and that's all he can do about this. Do you ?

Obama said last week he was ready to "Get serious" about this. If he was really serious, he wouldn't have gone to Hawaii, and he would have had all their asses at work from the day he said that till the day they had a REAL fix for the problem. I guarantee anything they come up with will be a drop in the bucket on the problem, just kicking the can down the road. They CANT tax us out of this only. Even if they take all the assets of the rich they are looking to raise taxes on it wont even dent the problem. They must stop the wars, stop handing out cash to every country, entitlement program, undeserving citizen, fraudulent earmark etc.

It's not the amount it's the principal. There are millions without even a job, or have had their cost of living frozen for years as well. Why should the people that have caused us all to be in this fucked up situation get theirs? This is directed to the pres, vice pres, and lawmakers, not sure if the increase they are talking about is for ALL fed workers. The only tables I have seen were for them so I assumed its just for them.
