I've always loved roller coasters. My daughter and I attended a country music concert at six flaggs magic mountain on Friday and went on a couple roller coasters after the concert - scream and goliath. Wanted to go on X but it was closed. For me skydiving has nothing to do with roller coasters. I love roller coasters just as much as I did before skydiving. For me roller coasters are a scarey thrill, skydiving is the ultimate thrill, but not so scary as roller coasters. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Wine. I like wine, but prefer white wine like Chardonnay. Went wine tasting in Paso Robles this weekend and discovered I like Sangiovese better than Chardonnay. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

You should plan to jump at both DZ's. They are both awesome!! And they are only like 20 minutes apart so it would be easy to go to both. Jump at both and make your own decision. Have fun!! Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I would say that it is definitely our Keith. I absolutely love Keith. He is an awesome person and great tunnel coach. I would not be skydiving today if it wasn't for Keith. He was there for me when I got stuck on level 3 and the Perris tunnel wasn't yet finished. I went to Vegas and did coaching with Keith and was able to pass after that, and he not only coached me in the tunnel, he kept in touch and offered encouragement throughout my student progression. And we still keep in touch. Whenever I am in Vegas I fly the tunnel. Last time I was there I worked on my sit. Anyway, I can't say enough about Keith and what an awesome person he is. But of course you already know that

You can eat whatever you want, whenever you want. That's the nice thing about being an adult. Go for it! And enjoy your bacon

Just got home from attending a country music concert with my daughter - Jamie O'Neal, Joe Nichols and Phil Vassar. Great concert! Jamie O'Neal brought her little daughter on stage for her last song - too cute! And Joe Nichols was really hot - I have a thing for buff guys with long hair

When did you know you had found the person you wanted to marry?
Evelyn replied to tricky's topic in The Bonfire
I don't think it is always love at first sight. I knew my husband for 5 years before we ever went out. Then it wasn't until we had been dating for several months that I realized he was the one. But we have been married for 27 years, so it was the right choice. I think the exact moment I knew I'd marry him was when we'd been dating a few months and his ex girlfriend came into town and wanted to get together with him. He was totally honest with me and told me he was going to see her to see if he still had feelings for her. I think that is when I knew I wanted him, when I realized I had competition. Lame reason, but like I said we've been married 27 years, so it all worked out -
What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?
Evelyn replied to grue's topic in The Bonfire
My scariest thing was being kidnapped when I was a teenager. My life actually flashed before my eyes - I thought I was gonna die. Long story, but we escaped, but couldn't even report it cuz then our parents would have found out and we would have been in trouble for taking a ride from strangers. I did learn from the experience, but will never forget it. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller -
Congrats Kris!! That's awesome! BTW I still want the pin necklace and bear we talked about a while ago. No hurry - I didn't want to bug you since I knew you were busy with law school. PM me when you get a chance. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Who is going to the Perris Memorial Day Boogie?
Evelyn replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
Rosa, I wish I was going, but I will be out of town again this year. I may make it on the last day depending on what time I get home. Have fun -
OMG Andi you are the reason I fly the tunnel, to get your great coaching. You are awesome. I have improved so much after coaching with you. You rock!! Love you Andi!! Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

It's a 95 Vette. Thank you for your input. That is the kind of answer I was looking for. I will look in my owner's manual to pull the fuse for now, but at least now I have an idea of what is involved. Thanks. Too bad you don't live in LA. I can't tell you the number of times I've taken my Vette in for service and they could not find the problem. That is why I like to be able to tell them what the problem is when I go in for service. I got that same e-mail from my husband, and e-mailed him back saying I could relate to certain ones. He e-mailed me back saying "what do ya mean, they're all true!" Amazingly, we've been married 27 years! Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Oh Deuce, I would love to be there...but I won't be. I won't even be jumping this weekend since I have to go to Paso Robles with my family where we will be visiting relatives and wine tasting. But next weekend I will be skydiving Sat. and Sun. Woohoo!! Have fun!! And BTW, I loved the Holiday Boogie DVD, and even saw myself on it (getting onto the plane). Great job! I am thinking of selling my snowboard. I keep thinking I'll go snowboarding when I can't jump, but living in So. Cal. we can always jump so I haven't been snowboarding for 2 years (since I started skydiving). Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Man, I thought I was losin it. I've been honking my car horn a lot lately - just randomly and for no reason. Was thinking maybe I was accidently hitting the horn, which is unlikely since I've been driving the same car for 10 years. Was beginning to think maybe I was subconsciously honking without realizing it. Then yesterday the horn went off while my car was parked with no one in it. I had to hit the horn to get it to turn off. Then today when I started my car when leaving work the horn went off and I had to hit it several times to get it to turn off. So now I'm afraid to drive my car until I have the horn repaired because in So. Cal. people will shoot you if you piss them off while driving. It would be just my luck to get behind someone with a gun and have my horn go off. So guess I have to get it fixed, or maybe have it disconnected. Has anyone else had this problem? Was it an easy fix? I absolutely hate car repairs cuz it seems it's twice as expensive for Vette repairs, so I like to have an idea of what's involved before I take it in for service. If anyone can offer advice I'd appreciate it. Thanks!! Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Oh shit...I got 2 out of 10. Guess I shouldn't have listened to my mother! (I based it on what my mother told me, since the quiz was mothers know best). But can't say that I'd have done much better otherwise. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

You should have already sent cards and/or flowers unless you are going to personally deliver them. Being a somewhat unconventional mom, I am having my kids fly the tunnel for mothers day. I'm sure they'll love it, and I think I'm gonna have to get in there with them, just so they feel more comfortable

It looks great on you. I've admired people who can get piercings (my daughter has her belly button pierced). I can't ever get any kind of piercing since I am deathly afraid of needles (just getting my ears pierced was an ordeal). But hey, more power to ya!
