Yeah, I know most of you are old enough to be my kids, so I will direct this to you as well as people who have kids. At what age do you cut the cord. My kids are 22 and 25. We've kept them on our auto ins. and paid for it until this year. We told them they had to get their own ins. They are whining and complaining that it is too expensive and they can't afford it. We pay almost $6000 in auto ins. which will go down to a couple thousand without the kids. They've both moved out and have their own apartments, so we figure it's time to pay their own ins. I think life kind of imitates skydiving. I did a seminar at Eloy - question and answer with Airspeed and I asked "when the exit funnels and I see that the jump is screwed up I get in a mind set that the rest of the jump is gonna be screwed up and it is. They said "you just push the reset button and start over". I think that is true of life as well as skydiving. Just push the reset button and start over. Good Luck!!! I go to the gym everyday, but not necessarliy to get fit for skydiving, it's just something I do. I love the way I feel after a workout, and I have this aversion to getting fat, and at my age you really have to work at staying in shape. I've been sick recently so have toned my workouts down from 3 hrs. to 1 1/2 hrs. and I'm missing that extra time. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I think that in CA the sales tax can be different for different cities/counties (but I'm not positive). In the Los Angeles area the sales tax is 8.25 %. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I am so stupid, or so naive...when my son was born they told us his blood type was O+ and I was like how cool is that, he has the same blood type as his dad and me. Then I learned that the kid has to have the same blood type as the parents so when my daughter was born and they told us her blood type I was like yeah obviously since her dad and I have that same blood type.

I've been wanting to jump at SD San Diego for a long time since my parents live pretty close to the DZ, I'm going to come for the Boogie. Seems like there are mostly freeflyers from what I've heard.
