I was wondering where you had been. Hope it's getting better. We started up our $15.00 fridays again, too. AND this time we'll be taking them to 15,000 feet. So get better and come on back!

did you check out the rest of it? As the noble animal symbol that represents the Chinese emperors, Dragons are born leaders and masters of ceremonies. And because of this, every Chinese parent is hoping to have a Dragon child. Dragon people get things started and keep them moving. They are feisty and gifted with power and luck. Most people look up to the Dragon. Dragons are born monarchs. As far as they can see, their power is indisputable. Dragons are idealists, perfectionists, they are born thinking they are perfect and they are inflexible. Dragons are also aggressive and determined, going after what they want is second nature to them. And due to their hunger for power, Dragons are not well suited to growing old. The prospect of losing power, the helpless feeling of youthful strength ebbing away is unbearable to them. Irritable and stubborn, the Dragon is a real big mouth and their words often outrun their thoughts. Nevertheless, their opinions are worth listening to and their advice is always good. People do, in fact, listen to them and their influence is considerable. They Dragon is over-proud. They are enthusiastic to the point of impetuosity, and they lose their temper easily. Dragons are dauntless, dynamic and delightful. When a Dragon enters a gathering, the room starts to simmer. The Dragon carries a self-assurance so impressive, and inflated ego so visible and a mouth so loud that it is useless to try to tell him anything. Dragons are tyrannical. They hate orders except when they are giving them. Unlike the Tiger, who imposes their will seriously and firmly, the Ox, whose authority is implied in their very stern demeanor, or the Rat, who thrusts their dominion over others, the Dragon knows innately how to exert authority yet be gentle with their slaves. Dragons are terrible snobs. Although money is not always the object, they are slavishly impressed by wealth, prestige, rank and splendor. The Dragon is gifted, intelligent, tenacious, willing and generous. They can do anything. No matter whether the Dragon chooses an artistic career, medical or political one, they are going to shine in it. They will be a success wherever they go. The Dragon is often loved. They are never disappointed in love. In fact, they are frequently the cause of some drama of despair. The women of this sign are surrounded by admirers and often demanded in marriage. I may be tyrannical but I'm not a snob!

I'm a Dragon but what that website says is a little different than the things I've read about Dragons.

I was just being bratty!

I thought so! We are going to do it for awhile - so grab Katie and get on down here. And hey, I finally after what maybe 8 attempts actually managed to be in the same place at the same time with Jari and good weather and went for my first Birdman jump. (Also my first cutaway!) The whole thing was awesome. So much fun.
-
Yeah, you and Katiebear get yo' asses down here and stay for the weekend. If you need me to - I will promise not to bust out the tequila. I think I'm switching to black sambuca for awhile anyways. The deck needs a new burn.

I too had one deleted like that and I didn't mind but half the posts on here are "advertising" - come to this dz - go to that dz - this boogie - that boogie - who decides what is an ad and what isn't? Why do some people get away with posting the same exact post in four different forums and others get forked for it? BUT - once you are warned - it's not very bright to deliberately antagonize the powers that be. It's a pretty nice site and it is their playground. And isn't talkback supposed to be Fluff? Either Fluff (Please, please, look at me!) or everyone arguing about the evil American's trying to dominate the world and making it an unsafe place to skydive and guns - let's not forget about guns! Oh by the way - Sebastian is doing $15.00 jumps to 15,000 Fridays for awhile. - Is that an ad or a public announcement for all my fellow skydiving friends? I'm so confused
-
Both Sebastian and Clewiston use the Crosskeys skyvan and DeLand has Skyvans.

trip to florida, what will we need?

sorry, I was slacking and didn't see this one!. I can answer for Sebastian... 1. no 2. no minimum jump number 3. if you do not have valid 3rd party liability insurance that covers the us. BPA does not but most travel insurance does. if you don't have it you can get a $15.00 temporary membership 4. what rules - it's freeflying - don't be stupid and don't kill anyone! 5. depends when you are coming and how busy it is - we jump a Super Otter, Grand Caravan and sometimes like this week a SkyVan. Fridays are $15.00 to 15,000 feet. 6. The town itself is quiet. We have a nice tropical island kind of bar in town that a lot of skydivers go to on the weekends for rumrunners, dinner and to listen to the bands (sometimes good, sometimes bad). A local pool bar - I don't go there but some people like it. We are only an hour and half from either Orlando or West Palm if you actually want to go clubbing. 7. Don't play with poisonous snakes (I just found a coral snake in my yard - yes, it was the coral snake not the non-poisonous look alike). Stay out of the ditch (the official beer line - it's often muddy). I can think of lots of people you should avoid but it's so much more fun to let people discover that on their own! -

I can let you know a little closer to that date. You know skydivers...we can't plan anything that far out unless it involves non-refundable tickets. Someone, somehow will get you out here, though! -
People liked the $15.00 Fridays we had the other month at Sebastian that they decided to keep them and add on some altitude. So come out to Sebastian on Friday to get an early start on the weekend and jumps will be $15.00 to 15,000 feet. It gives you that much more time to check out the prettiest view from altitude. The other week the skies were so clear not only could we see our regular view of the beautiful coastline but we could even see lake Okechobee and we could tell where Orlando was as well!
-
I agree with Bytch We've always got places for people to stay and yet, Sebastian was not on the list and she even offered dinner. What better place to fly a birdman suit than Sebastian with the treasure coastline and the intercoastal for a backdrop?
-
I don't think so. It believe it was supposed to be word association not how to make a sentence about bouncy fake tits. You only look at the last word not the ones that came before. Of course, I could be way off because it isn't my thread.

I've traveled to a lot of dz's and boogies around the country but I always return to my two favorites - Skydive Sebastian and Skydive CrossKeys. Sebastian has the year round comfortable skydiving weather, the beautiful views, good people, good freeflying and a nice laid back atmosphere. There is a small base of local jumpers with a large base of transient jumpers coming through on vacation and holidays. The same jumpers seem to return year after year, though after that first stop. Some come and stay for months at a time before going home. It's nice to see everyone return each year and to keep adding to the group. It isn't too far to travel to the cities for night life but quite enough in the small town with a few nice restaurants and the beaches are close by with some excellent surf for when the weather rolls in. If you are used to busting the clouds, forget about it, sorry it's the pilot's license and not your call. The locals make sure we stay legal on the weather days.
-
except for the one day yesterday that I took of and slept - I live there almost as much as you do - did, that is! I like the way I just use the forums for my own personal messages - is that legal? will I get the smackdown -again?
-
whoa, wait a minute - do you no longer live in your dream room in the back of the shop? For crying out loud I work 100 yards from you and I find this out on dz.com instead???? what's up with that?
-
It didn't say that skydiving was reckless it said skydiving with a garage sale parachute. As in would you buy a packed parachute at a garage sale and go out and jump it without repacking it and checking it out. Lighten up it's supposed to be funny!
-
see you in Sebastian!
-
me! So that people like you can come out to the dropzone and jump. Someone has to do it!
-
Christmas Eve?? Shit, I work in skydiving and that means work every day. We'll be working Christmas Day and NewYear Day!
-
cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pig, squirrel, pigeon, raccoon, horses, ferrets, parakeets - I hated those damn noisy birds and tried to give the cats the opportunity to eat them, many wild injured birds (much nicer than parakeets) & mice being rehabilitated some because of the cats, chickens - weren't really pets... I think that's about it.

Yeah, I think the term obedient wife used even in jest would deserve an asskicking at least it did when my ex tried it on me but then 'obedient Wendy' would definitely be an oxymoron.

Oh fuck! Are we having another fucking party? Do I fucking have to stock the fucking tiki bar again? And do we need more of those fucking jello shots, or what the fuck???
