    that was Kate and it was pretty funny. She was borrowing someone elses canopy to try out. She found out after her second cutaway (that was the 2nd) that a stilleto was not for her! Sometimes freefliers forget that you should still have good body position on your belly for deployment.

    yes, you are! And for those of you wondering - I've gotten two calls about it already - yes, it is the SkyVan that was scheduled to go to PR for the Boogie. So sorry....

    I have up to date virus protection and yet three days in the past week it has caught a virus that managed to slip past the email detection and infect a file. So they can bite me - I'd like to go kick some hacker buttt myself for all the extra crap we have to deal with - but even more than them - the spammers!

    Yup, they stole all our other planes and left us with *sniff, sniff* the skyvan. So come out and take advantage. We'll have until...well until they come back from Puerto Rico. It's flying all week (with lots and lots of room - as if it is ever crowded in there anyways). And it's still 15 to 15 on friday. AND they are even running a Valentine's Day special for tandems if you've got friends that need to make that first jump.

    eyes, alti just for my own information or I use it to make sure I get to where I want to be before the turn since sometimes I get caught up just playing around - and then you're hooking low and stabbing out and just being a moron. I hate when that happens but it's so much fun to fly.

    sweet canopy. I've got a C2 99. Much better than my original Crossfire. Light riser pressure, beautiful openings, easy swoops yet easy to land in those tight off spots as well. A nice all around canopy.

    The boys are back in Sebastian for another XL Challenge. Check out their website www.sebastianxl.org. I know they still have spaces available if you want to work on your RW skills. They are doing 25 3 on 1 jumps with video. You can call the dropzone or e-mail the guys or even let me know here and I'll pass the info on to them.

    oh, I think this time the fireworks should be even bigger! I'll start collecting them now. We'll make oodles more jello shots and keep Giancarlo away from them. Maybe we can make a dz.com tent for everyone. We can tell people who aren't already on the site that we're here to initiate new members. Tell them they have to do a jump with some of us and we get to give them their dz.com name. We could give them crazy names and see how many are foolish enough to actually use them. Alright, maybe not...

    Ok, Sunnydee is already on board - who else is coming? We've got PD coming with demos, Jari from BirdMan will be here with demos ready to turn you into 'one of them', the Pink Mafia sisters will be making new little PMS's, we've got DJ's for Saturday night, probably a band for Friday night (haven't got that one worked out all the way, yet). Beach jumps, SkyVan, Hit & Chug. We'll be adding stuff to it as we go along. Oh yeah, BBQ on Saturday - Pizza on Friday. Come out and play. Should we get fireworks again? I do so love an explosion!     Yes, March 19 - 21st we will be having BirdMan, PD, the PInk Mafia, 2 DJ's Saturday night, a band is in the works for Friday night but not definate yet, Beach jumps, free food, Organizers - we do have the Freeflytraining Center here. What am I forgetting? Jello shots if I get a night off before the event. I think a hit & chug is in order as well.

    almost exactly 1,500 miles in 23 hours. From Lake Wales, FL to my old home in Vermont. Drove straight through alone with only a couple of food/fuel/bathroom stops. Imperative that all be done with one stop can't be wasting time stopping any more than necessary.
