If I wasn't so damn tired right now I'd be really excited!

Yes, he is and it wasn't Steak! Steak called me even if it was only a day before the boogie was to start, apologized and paid me back. It was the one who everyone thought would be the responsible one who said don't you worry I'll be there tomorrow that blew it off, ignored my phone calls - which were all very nice by the way - no yelling, no accusing - just hey, where are you? Could you give me a call and let me know if you aren't going to show up. Followed by the call saying please call me to let me know because for all I know you could have died on the way to the airport, blah, blah, blah. But since he was at the FlyBoyz Film Festival he did not infact die in a freak gasoline fight accident. It's ok, though. The boogie was fun anyways. I didn't have to eat ramen noodles, it would have been nice of him to pay me back since it was my own money and not dz funds but hey, I learned a lesson - I hope. And to keep in line with this thread - I want to party with Vanilla too even though she doesn't really party.

I've got a non.commer from NY who just showed up for the weekend and lots of people have called about showing up tomorrow afternoon and evening. The Mafia chicks start showing up tomorrow. And of course, the bytch and I are already here.

Are you coming to Sebastian? I only buy for people coming here. You can't hit me up for a ticket and then go hang at Z-hills or DeLand. Or you can be like some twerp who shall go nameless who used to post occassionally here who was supposed to LO at the Keys Boogie and decided last minute not to come. Actually there were two twerps but one redeemed himself by at least letting me know he was doing it and then repaying me for the ticket. The other one just blew it off and hasn't even ever had the decency to call and apologize.

I think the something is allergies. There is a lot of pollen floating around right now. Everything is in bloom. My mom is really bad - she's finally going to have to admit it is allergies. So take lots and lots of anti-histamines. They go well with beer don't they?

Surely, you didn't miss him shoving about 37 pieces of chewing gum in my mouth. That was how I'll always remember him - that and in Key West with the drag queens hitting on him.

I'm really not that kind - just ask anyone who knows me. And turtle - slow - speed - itinerary is as follows... Thursday night or sometime Friday get to Sebastian - Friday - skydive until sunset (maybe a beach jump thrown in there) Friday night drink and listen to the band and party games - like olive oil twister Saturday - get up no matter what you feel like and skydive until sunset - must do a beach jump this day and get in on the hit & chug Saturday night - eat dinner to help sop up alcohol - plus it's free and dance to the DJ all night long. Enjoy the fireworks (from a safe distance, of course - especially since they sometimes drift towards the fuel farm) Sunday - crawl from bed maybe not quite so early - skydiving will clear the head - begin the process of recouperating after a good day of skydiving Sunday night or Monday - go home!!!! Oh wait - I live here.... I'll stay here.

Then maybe you should get your butt over to Sebastian this weekend. We are having March Madness and I just picked up ZeeMax at the airport last night. You could scratch two off your list.

Nicole was in charge of making them last time and she does the standard one to one mix. I usually go for a higher dosage myself but thank god, they weren't bad last time. The way Giancarlo was literally forcing them down our throats we'd be dead or at least we would have wanted to be the next day.

Well, you get the pleasure of it either exploding out in freefall leaving you with gooey nasty stuff all over your face & goggles or maybe you can pop and eardrum. Or maybe like the last time I said screw it you can just mess it up a little bit and only have severe ear pain for about 3 weeks. Nothing like being grounded for 3 or 4 weeks because you just couldn't wait those extra couple of days. I'm so glad we've got people offering cooking help! I was wondering how I was going to finish closing manifest that night, set up the fireworks, make sure the DJ's were set (I guess showering at that point is out of the question) and then still get dinner going on time. Oh yeah, and probably be running back with our beach jumpers too! Tonight I buy the rest of the food for the dz and then I think it's time to start the jello shot process - although I might save that for Thursday night. Oh yeah, and Ricky I don't think I'll make season opener. I just bought tickets to Eloy for the end of this month. It depends how much money I spend while I'm there, I guess. Plus I'm slightly put out with one of my best friends up there right now and I'm punishing them by denying them the pleasure of my presence (that is a joke, by the way, no one take it seriously!)

oops! was I being defensive? I'm so damn sensitive lately! We do need to set your date soon so that skymonkeyone has no excuses not to show. It wouldn't be a bytch boogie without Katie & Chuck here as well.

NOW I REMEMBER!!! It was spacemonkey's last night and it was crazy!

It's not so much research as much as it is availability and the fact that sometimes it is done deliberately to compete with the other events. There is always something going on somewhere. And it is often planned around holidays. Z-hills has something going on every weekend - if it's not a swoop meet, it's scrambles or something. I'll do everyone a favor and plan our sizzling summerfest so that it does NOT fall on July 4th but somewhere fairly close to that. That kind of screws those normal job people though. They get that extra jump/travel day when you plan around a holiday. Oh well, what can you do?

did I play tequila quarters with you??? oh my god, my memory is failing... no more tequila. (Unless, we play quarters - I kick ass at quarters until I start to lose then it's all downhill really fast.... it's the biting thing, I've got to control. Tequila = muzzle.

sweet.... people are starting to call.... I've got to make an airport run tomorrow to pick up a couple of people (Zeemax and a girl who jumped with us not too long ago and made a special trip back for this weekend). Now if the weather screws with us, I'm going to be very, very put out! BUT we will have a good time regardless - I am after all a MonkeyClaw Jam golden alumni and they rarely have good weather but always have a good time! So get on out here. Bytch needs some cheering up from everyone anyways. She's been awfully sickly and bored and feeling down so we all need to make her life hell (in the best possible way, of course) this weekend. I'm off to the stores tomorrow to buy lots of food to cook on Saturday - anyone want to help with BBQ duties????? and things that go boom and make pretty sparkly things in the air! I'm going to be tired but happy by Friday night. So by Sunday I ought to be in just plain stupid loopy mode. (Don't kick me while I'm down, please.)

I've had electric fences and had trained dogs that did stay within those perimeters although if the incentive is strong enough any dog can/will run through. The real problem I find with electric fences is that even if your dog learns to stay within it - it doesn't prevent other dogs/people from coming in. Get a real fence and protect your dog not just from going out and getting hit but from anyone or anything coming onto your property and bothering him.

It's beautiful cruising around looking at the ocean - I've really got to stop forgetting to head back towards the dropzone! Lisa, looks like you've got some awesome leverage with the raft!

I've done the set up and dirt dives for raft dives before but I couldn't get free when the time came to do the jumps. We didn't have to cut the raft up. With the Skyvan it's a piece of cake to launch.

I actually can not make either of those things happen. We no longer have SDU here but we do still do coaching and Mike Swanson is in Perris Valley now. We do however, have other members of the Freefly Training Center here. Cisco and Chris will both be here for the weekend. Dave doesn't come back from Thailand until the 22nd. Lisa, yes we will have the SkyVan and I know that raft if it is the one I'm thinking of. I have pictures of it in my swimming pool from a party last year. That and the big red/white blue blow up beer cooler that looks like Uncle Sam's hat. It's a great raft and you know what - I've never been on a raft dive - can you believe that?

I've really got to stop taking days off! You guys have been posting fiends. Marks if I can get out of the office I'm in for your jump. Zeemax - it's no Z-hills firepit but we still have our little hole in the ground. You can tell by the burn marks on the nearby palm tree that it has been excessive on more than one occassion. OH, and I just got word from Rob the Pilot that we now have a band playing Friday night for us! So vendors galore, PD, SunPath, Tony Suits, Mirage, Relative Workshop, Pink Mafia girls, DJ's, a band, dz.commers - beach jumps..

We know have to have fun, we have a great view, we have the beach and what more do you want? We are only missing a swoop pond! Oh yeah, and just to help get the word out there... whatever happened to all the bellyfliers here? We picked up Teiwaz - henceforth to be know as Sebastian Teiwas to compete in FSL meets but how about you newer jumpers. Surely some of you must want to have fun and compete? Wouldn't it be fun to put together a team, get team rates and just compete for the fun of it? You don't have to be good, you'll get better as you go. How about a group of freefliers trying their hand at a little bellyflying?

Think this is going to be good? Then how about a Summer Sizzler. If CrossKeys can have a successful FreezeFest in the frigid north (and they do - I've lived through them before) then we can do it in the summer. I'm thinking Bikini jumps, Beach jumps, slip & slide swoops, a little luau action, maybe kiddie pools to soak in between loads - sometime around the fourth of July maybe not exactly on that date because so many other things are going on. Maybe by then I'll have my boat and we can do island runs for a little island party.

New updates... We should have PD, BirdMan, SunPath, Relative Workshop, Mirage and maybe TonySuits here for the event. The Pink Mafia, of course, Kaz Sheeky, the Freefly Training Center, Roger Ponce, Beach jumps, DJ's, fireworks and free food. What else do you want?
