Sebastian's plane is on it's way back today and we are good to go starting tomorrow!

Finally!!! Just got it in the mail!

Don't even joke about that! I'm sick to death of this. I still don't have power or running water from Frances. If I'm lucky they may get to me by this coming Friday - yippee!

yup, beat it even with the broken arm but my fingers couldn't work the mouse right and I kept dropping the states. I was getting scared that I was going to run out of time.

Yes, everything else and everyone is ok. Even the boneheads (and yes, I can call my friends boneheads) who stayed. They got lucky! They've also been suffering without airconditioning for days while I've been mooching off friends in comfort. I'll be heading back and we'll get the plane back down as soon as the debris is cleaned up and the power is back on. Hopefully we'll have that in the next couple of days. Where are you Lisa? Well, my informants who foolishly rode out the hurricane in Sebastian (while I was safely hiding out in Raeford) said the dz is fine except for the fact that the packing hanger is history. I'm not sure why it's all still standing but it is. (Guess we wont be rebuilding in the new area, yet.) The plane is still in New Jersey. I'm heading back today and hopefully clean up has started. I wasn't going to be a huge help with one arm anyways. We are keeping our fingers crossed to have power by the time I get back. Once we've got power we'll get the plane back and be back in action. Alright, time to start driving again...

I feel bad BUT the Carolina's are used to getting hit with our hurricanes so maybe it will be nice and shoot up that way.

Ok, this whole thing is my fault. It's going to crush Sebastian like a little cockroach because I said it would make the move a whole lot easier. I personally would like to already be on the run as far away from this state as possible but no...we've got a dropzone to batten down. A couple of knuckleheads are talking hurricane party in the team room building. I'm trying to get help putting everything into bins and storing them in one of the corner team rooms. I'm going to send the rigs out with the plane tomorrow morning and I wish I could be on it but I've got a big dog and I don't think our pilot likes dogs so that's a problem. I'd really, really like to be driving my standard vehicle with my broken arm in a sling and my slobbering dog beside me right now. Really, really, really I don't like hurricanes I'm a NE girl! We get blizzards.

I don't know about Katie - but I was scared when a golf cart full of guys was chasing us, especially when we couldn't even lose them by cutting through the food tent. Maybe that's just the chasing thing, though. I hate being chased.

I've worked so hard to lose the accident prone reputation that I acheived over the years. I'm so bummed out. Yet another broken bone and this one will keep me on the ground for a little while. At least it was a new one. I broke the right arm this time. (6 times for the left one - I think it had enough.) Of course, it had nothing to do with skydiving - the dz was closed on tuesday so I decided to take a 16 mile long rollerblading trip (trip - ha!ha!) I wont be in the air for awhile. It will be another two weeks before they even decide if it's going to be surgery or physical therapy or both. Anyways, I'm feeling rather grumpy about the whole thing since I'm watching a load land outside my window and they all look to be having so much fun while I'm pecking away with one hand and the keyboard.

We had a few jumpers show up here (Sebastian) this weekend that said the same thing.
