I used to live in Vermont and I used to drive five hours (right past the exit for the ranch which was only 2.5 hours for me) to go to CrossKeys on every day off (lucky for me I got them in a row). BUT I will say that everyone should check out every dz that they can so go and have fun.

What??? Why would you all be invading the Ranch when you can go to CrossKeys and The Wildwood Boogie. It was canceled the year before but the beach is monstrous, the water parks around it are awesome. It's just a great event and then you can stay there or head back to CrossKeys for festivities. If I can get out of here for the week that's where I'll be.

Macca & Paige, You two need to come help make those bomb diggity jello shots next time! That can be quite fun, too. You've got to sample them every now and then plus you get more input into strength and flavours. We also didn't get around to our Pudgy Bunny challenge or hula hooping or any of those fine after hours games... oh Sunday night the night I passed out in bliss very early - the night I said that people could sleep there but that they were under no circumstances to speak to me. I didn't even bother to eat that night, just went home, showered and snuck into bed.

The dz split up into a few groups - no one could have handled all of us. Some went to Ruby Tuesdays, some went to Squid Lips and some went to Captain Hiram's. I was unaware that another faction had broken off to go to (hold me back) Woody's the place so wonderous it is only available in select locations. Sorry, I only ate there once and it was so bad that it was funny. Then a bunch of us ended up at Hiram's listening to the band. I was back at my house fairly early and a pretty sizeable group ended up there. I think they killed the tequila at our tiki bar. Here's a little tip for you guys - cell phone numbers - Denise - come on - you should have my cell by now. text messaging works great to get everyone together especially when you are someplace you can't hear a damn thing.

I still have some left in the freezer. I leave for Eloy on MOnday so if anyone is out this weekend - I could use some help finishing them up before I sneak off for a break.

It's very lonely here in Sebastian in the wind and the rain today! I saw bytch looking very well - she has recovered nicely after the weekend. Other than that - it's been absolutely crap here today! Is the rest of Florida like this right now?

Well, for the past few years we've had boogies that aren't really boogies. You know - there isn't anything different going on. We usually do an Easter Boogie and I wasn't going to try to do anything since it's so close but we might see if we can pull together something but the next one I really want to see is one in July. I'd like it to be the fourth BUT I'm not going to because so many other things are going on then but it will be for sometime after that. I've got to find a boat before then. Otherwise we will have trouble getting out to the islands for the evening BBQ. It will be great - just wait and see.

please, please tell me that you did not really go to Woodys? What nimrod took people there? Thank god everyone lived. I have pictures. I just had to take a couple of days off and as soon as I get my cameras all charged back up - I'll post some.

OWWWW!!!! I'm sorry we broke you! Usually, it's me - I just realized that I made it through the weekend without any broken bones, stitches, dislocations or major bruising. I have definately broken my long running injury streak. So did you prefer the fireworks this time round or the bytch boogie fireworks?

Are you better yet?? We need you to get better soon so we can plan another get together! Although, let's see I could just prop your leg up on the bar and you can still make shishkabobs! Arlo and Gillian could run by every now and then and throw some water balloons at you and you wouldn't be missing out on too much!

Thank you so much for all your help! Nothing like handling chunks of raw meat. No wait, pounds and pounds of raw meat of various varieties. You missed a special jump because you were such a sport helping me out and even more importantly you missed your son score a winning goal and on top of that you went home hurting! We'll take better care of you next time.

You guys made it an awesome weekend. We had so many fun people here! Lots of dz.commers and I wanted so bad to get a group shot to put up here but I just kept getting sidetracked. The Pink Mafia girls were fantastic. Jari from BirdMan, Gillian and Kolla from PD, Tony from Tony Suits, Surf from Mirage and Drew from SunPath were all here helping everyone out with demos and just adding to the atmosphere. We had some good representation from the Atlanta area. The DJ's were fantastic and I think they would have played until the sun came up if I hadn't made them shut down so that we could relocate the party. Skymama and Nate (who is a dz.commer but I can't remember his dz name - something about a bum) were fantastic helping me push little bits of meat and veggies onto skewers. Nicole (bubbles4384) made some excellent pasta salad and did an excellent job in manifest. I was so tired from all the work earlier in the week that I didn't live up to my usual reputation of being the last one down. I tried really, really hard to go to bed and get at least a few hours of sleep in each night. Of course, since half the dz was camping and the other half was camping out in my house - that didn't always work as planned. THANK YOU everyone for coming. It was such a nice smooth weekend. The beach jumps were great too. They were hell to make happen but hopefully the fact that everyone did such a nice job on them will pave the way for next time. Last night I crawled home tired but happy and slipped into my bed for the first time in three nights without anyone busting in at 3 or 4 am to tell me what a great time they were having. Uninterrupted dreams rock! Come again soon!

HOLY SHIT!! It's over. We survived, we had explosives, we had jello shots, we had beach jumps, we had shishkabobs, we had a fire that was too big and needed a little hosing to save our palm tree, the djs were great and played until I made them shut down because I was their ride home and I wanted to go damn it, the police were there twice to ask us to turn down the music. It was a very good time. Thanks to everyone who turned out and sat through our half a day of crap weather on Saturday. We never did our hit & chug so we'll save it for another weekend. We never got our dz.com picture. I do have some pictures to post but I'm so tired right now that I'm going to go home and sleep the sleep of the dead. Thanks so much everyone for such a great weekend!

Sandrift is getting really old and tired. Was always old but was clean. Lately, I've been hearing complaints but it isn't like a crack hotel. You should be safe and the a/c should work. It is technically within walking distance and we have had people who walk from there but it's a boogie for crying out loud - you should be able to hitch rides with some of the people here. The camp ground is nice an full but for a weekend we can always sneak a few more in. (Don't tell the town I said that - I'll deny it). Bendywendy? No, that's not me. Got to go to Hiram's - the band ditched us for tonight but we needed an easy night tonight for jumping tomorrow! No sleep tomorrow!!

The camp ground is filling up but I think that we can get away for one weekend with over filling it and expanding into our old camp area across the parking lot if we need to. I've got to get out of here. I still need vodka and skewers and mushrooms (not the psychadelic kind). Oh and two fishing poles. and a case of beer - damn what else am I forgetting?

Oh no, no my friend - you'll not be sneaking off on this weekend. So just buck up now - and that SkyMama she better not start talking about the sniffles and stuffiness. I just spent an unexpected hour and a half thrashing through the worst palmetto, swampy, overgrown Florida underbrush filled with rattlesnakes - thank you very much - looking for a jumper who decided that they could make it back (it was a student) but the best part was the plane flew over and he just stood there waving at it not going anywhere. He waited for us to slog through and find him. I, of course, broke off from everyone else and widened the search area when we didn't find him right away so was the last one crawling back in. Oh, did I mention that I wore a dress to work today? Good thing I had my BirdMan Pantz in the vehicle. They held up well. SO NO MORE OFF LANDINGS everyone - I did my duty today.

He brought me a bag filled with 60 of my favorite candy bars - Curly Wurlys! Since I can't really eat very much chocolate - it makes me slightly nauseous so maybe a bar a day that will keep me set for quite some time. Although, I do share - those of you coming here - all you have to do is ask about the hidden stash and I'll share some with you - unless you've been a jerk already at which point I might show you and then tell you that every last stinking one of them is mine, mine, mine! Ok - I've got to quit PW'ing now - I've still got a few things to do for the boogie (oh yeah, on my day off I might add).
