  2. hell yeah dude. Every freefly jump I've done so far has been fucking mind blowing. To think that its this great and I havn't even jumped with other people yet, only done a few solos. I can't wait for my first freefly dock. Fuck yeaaaaah. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  3. chew gum and meditate and joke with anybody around me that wants to joke or talk about gear with anybody around me that wants to talk about gear (read explain gear issues to me). --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  4. take your painkillers and space out, enjoy. You can skydive in a week or so! Look at it in the positive way (you'll be able to spend TWICE as much money next weekend as you could normally!). --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

    MoJo Canopy

does the ZP come standard or is it an option? Wouldn't this make it a bit harder for a beginner to pack? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  6. this is why you see canopy pilots with cross braced canopies easing so gently out of their carve into the plane out? say, a stiletto pilot has to bring it down closer due to the short recovery arc? am I clear? Just trying to understand. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  7. depends on how many jumps are on the main/container. It's old gear, so won't be worth much. Good for you, bad for seller, I guess.
  8. man I was like oh shit those guys are showing a lot of precision there by being able to swoop in such a tight formation in that pic! Then I felt like an idiot. Nice pics quade, is that perris? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  9. fyi Im pretty sure any jumpsuit company will let you design your own colors. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  10. go jump, nuff said. a few more words: You can worry about equipment later once you've gotten through AFF. If your parents won't let you jump go out to the local dropzone and hang out and talk to people. I bet people will be friendly to you once they figure out how much you want to skydive, I know I'd be happy to talk to someone who wants but can't yet skydive. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  11. are the grommets stainless steel? Someone at my DZ told me if they arnt smooth stainless steel sometimes it will have more trouble sliding all the way down. Not to mention it will wear lines faster. Just a thought. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  12. ive been thinking about getting one of those mp3 players that hold like 60 hours of music but i dont have any $ --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

  14. I understand, but the easiest way for me to "pyscho pack" is to put it down off my shoulder upside down and fold it in thirds the width of the bag (a variation of the wolmari pack). Once I have it in thirds, push the air out, then roll it. This pack job is super easy to control. Works for me, I'll try some of your ways though, I'm sure there will always be a better way to pack than what I am doing (no matter how many packjobs I do with one method!). --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  15. i wasnt asking you to upload anything that you feel might be sketchy to the public site, but if you want to send them to me privately I'd love to see them

    Thanks

hell, I don't even know you and I'm proud of you! enough of this mushy stuff, good job dude!
  18. yeah well i was trying to figure out a way to stop rolling it over, cause thats where I lose most of the time while pyscho packing. Yours is a good idea, I'll practice it. Ya'll have a safe weekend.
  19. Have you done a tandem yet? Maybe consider getting trained and trying out skydiving. Sounds like theres a subconscious thirst to try it. Regardless if you like it that much or not at least you'll be able to relate more with your husband about it. I bet you try a tandem and then love it so much you go get trained properly.
  20. their loss, eh dave? I guess that customer service thing is kind of crucial in points like this where someone is trying to decide which canopy to buy. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  21. hell yeah I'd jump (as long as the winds wern't up, like that would happen ). But if it were just cloud coverage I'm on, who gives a fuck about an off landing. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  22. deployment sequence, confirm ground/alti for alti, wave off, reach behind, place PC in airstream, hold hard arch, while keeping eyes on alti/ground. Look if it delays!
  23. are those triscuits I spy in the background? Did you have access to creamed cheese? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  24. LADIES ONLY! Would you bear a child for 10,000$ only to have it taken away the moment it is born and never to see it again? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
  25. a successful skydive is when you make it down unhurt. The main/freebag can easily (maybe not easily for some people) be replaced. Shit happens, keep looking for it though. Another idea is in a few days check with the police in case someone turned in the parachute (although you'd think they'd call the local dropzone). --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
