  1. RIP sept 1 2050 Cancer (21%) Horrible Accident (19%) Heart Attack (12%) Wild Animal Mauling (6%) Alcoholism (5%) Third Degree Burns (5%) Drowning (5%) and uhhh I went back and did it again, this time if I had magically gained 40 pounds and like tripled my sex parters... and they were all unprotected. somehow, I now live 2 years longer! I guess I should eat some pie, then go get some prostitutes and check out this on my fake one: Auto-Erotic Asphyxiation (6%) beats me how they came up with that MB 3528, RB 1182
  2. I've only ever seen observer rides done by whuffos, never by jumpers (even student jumpers). At our DZ we do let the observers go up, after they fill out the form, and learn emergency procedures, but we don't really advertise the observer rides. I think its because its still kinda a grey legal area. MB 3528, RB 1182
  3. I had 3 removed under general... and they had a real messy extraction with a couple, so my mouth was pretty torn up. I didn't feel like doing anything for a couple days, but I think within a week I could have been skydiving again. I think it all depends on your personal pain tolerance and reaction to general anesthisia... if you ask me, jumping too soon may risk dry sockets just thought of something, are you going to really get general anesthesia, or just Nitrous... because in the US, I believe most dentists use nitrous... which is a benifit if the general stuff makes you puke your guts up MB 3528, RB 1182
  4. I had that too when I was still a new jumper. Do you know how to get even more excited? Watch the clips of people pulling low... that cypres one comes to mind. Those still get my heart pumping and I have to make sure I'm not screaming "PULLLLL!!!" at the computer MB 3528, RB 1182
  5. I prefer not to jump in winds above 25... I've done one jump where the winds came up while we were on the plane, and started blowing at about 35... I jumped, and it turned out ok... but at that point, landing ok is just luck. however, lots of times I base if I feel comfortable jumping by what the other jumpers are saying, and how their canopies are flying. If I see someone wingloaded about the same as me being jerked around at 100 feet, and they tell you how turbulent it is up there, I ain't jumping. MB 3528, RB 1182
  6. You must be on the editorial staff at Penthouse. hahahha I'm glad I'm not the only guy on here with a perverted mind MB 3528, RB 1182
  7. I'd totally go with a shotgun. Its got huge knockdown power, so even if you don't blow off their head, they gonna be down long enough for you to reload. Besides, its not like you need a long range or even medium range rifle for zombies. And I would choose a pump-action or semi shotgun over a sawed-off. It can hold more ammo, and has better accuracy. but if I had to choose from your poll, I would go with the .45 since you don't need the armor piercing abilities of 5.56 or 7.62 against unarmored zombies. not to mention the .45 has big knockdown power. 8. this sounds like you put a lot of work into it, good job. I have a question though... I assume the part where they need to do a high performance front riser landing is for people with at least a little experience, right? I don't know if you want a student with 15 jumps downsizing from the manta 288 to like a 230 doing front riser landings. MB 3528, RB 1182
  9. honestly, i would rather have an asshole give me a warning, then a polite cop give me a ticket. I really hate tickets. of course, having a polite cop that gives warnings would be great MB 3528, RB 1182
  10. I assume by this you mean you roll the cells on either side of the center cell and stuff the center cell in? Thats how I pack my triathalon... when I was jumping a spectre, I just stuffed the nose... didn't roll anything, and it opened fine. or did you mean you stuff in all the cells except for the center one, which you leave hanging out? Im not an expert in any way, but this wouldn't sound right, leaving parts of the nose just hanging out. MB 3528, RB 1182
  11. I've jumped a spectre 190 and 150, and a triathalon 160, and this is almost exactly what i was gonna say too. One thing I can add is that it is very very easy to get a demo from PD. they have a great demo program, make sure to use it. I tried getting a demo from aerodyne a few months ago, and it wasn't easy at all, so I didn't even keep trying. however, maybe they've changed their demo program since then, so give it a try. 12. is she an experienced jumper or was she doing a tandem or what? MB 3528, RB 1182
  13. is there someway to modify the link to the videos inside your page so that I can "save target" them? perhaps post a clicky in the forums that leads directly to the .mpg? I can't view them on my stupid computer unless I've downloaded em first. MB 3528, RB 1182
  14. beats me! but it sure is fun as hell to watch someone do it on a tracking jump. MB 3528, RB 1182
  15. thats one of the very few benefits of jumping at a C182 dz... if someone can count to 4, they can be our headcounter The only 2 times I've really landed out, someone drove out and picked me up. if I land out, I would greatly appreciate having someone pick me up. As long as they knew where you landed, I personally think you only need one person to pick you up. MB 3528, RB 1182

  23. yeah single too. the skychicks have it a little better, i think. if they want to date a skydiver, they have a much larger selection. us guys have to fight over the skychicks MB 3528, RB 1182
