"But it's a shame that some enlightening and informative discussion couldn't continue." Yeah, that's why I left that discussion a LONG time ago. PEACE, "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Loading a canopoy 1:1 is the MAX that I would let a friend do on their first canopy. If they were a light jumper (under 130 lbs) I would advise them to jump nothing smaller than a 150. This is my inexperienced opinion. What I think you should do is find someone at your DZ with a lot of experience who has a 150 or similar and trade them temporarily or maybe even permanently. Don't worry about what it is. Just tell someone you want to do it and bring a hook knife. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I can't donate anymore. I lived in Europe in the 80's and might have Man Cow Disease. I think that's funny. Haaaa, mooooaaaahhahaaha, moooaaahaamaaoaaa!!!! "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Hey, if you're going camping while you're there then PM me. I found THE BEST camp area when I was there. Right next to a stream (be careful with your soap and etc.) Right next to a path that takes you miles into red rock cliffs. PEACE "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Yeah, I like it. There are NO stag points on it and it became freefly friendly after a previous owner put a mod to cover the bridle between the flap and BOD puch. I forget the DOM but it's in very good condition. The only problem I have with it is that it's sized for someone a little shorter than me, so when I do CRW I'm sitting on top of uncushioned legstraps. I threw away my reserve D-ring handle on a cutaway and Strong had a soft pillow replacement to me in about a week. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

"atmonauti" What's that? "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher -
Google.com says yes. I had never hear it called Caisson's Disease or at least remembered it. "Caissons carrying workers to the bottom of the river were used to drive the tower foundations to a firm footing on the bottom of the East River. Hundreds of workers got the bends, then known as "Caisson's Disease", as a result of the pressure changes." "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Also, the term "bends" is used because if you get it really bad then your arms will stay bent or you will be stuck bent over. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

SHeit...never pay for any coaching, CRW or otherwise. If someone even suggests that I cover their slot for anything then they're a prick. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Then you need to talk to my homosexual roommate. Apparently he has no idea that he's supposed to be a fun individual. I've met few other people who wallow in self-pity more than he does. So, any Washington D.C. queers who could cheer him up? Louisa people, no, my "gay roommate" is not my alter-ego. PEACE, "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I have two medium sized metal hook knives on my rig at all times. I put a third shitty plastic one across my chest strap for CRW. Am going to buy two metal Jack the Ripper knives for the chest strap. Plastic knives are crap and should not be purchased. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Businesses are downsizing their telemarketing staff VERY fast right now. I'll drink to that. Aggie, the next time they call just say, "Yeah, hold on a second," and just leave the phone sitting there. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I thought you put the link on the back so you get a steeper angle? "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Ok, so if I wanted to divorce then what's easier, the paperwork for a regular divorce or the paperwork for becoming a Muslim so I can just say, "I divorce you. I divorce you. I divorce you." "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

I hear ya. And I'll say that Bill and RWS deserve the extra revenue resulting from the Skyhook. Congrats on a tremendously innovative device. I don't jump with an RSL but when I move to a smaller canopy that I know I won't use for CRW then the container will be from RWS with the Skyhook. "...what did they accomplish?? " They had fun, something people too stuck on competition forget about. Sounds pretty accomplished to me. deez nutz "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

"Why the hell aren't people getting intense canopy training? " Because once people get their license all they care about is learning RW or Freeflying and don't care about what happens under canopy. "Maybe the USPA should implement some kind of codicillary part of the coach program where the coach and student pull higher and do follow the leader." With the modern aspect of the sport in which there are more canopies in the air that go and turn faster, I agree. The only canopy coaching I got was my first 5 AFF jumps. I think they should at least be urged to do hop and pops from full altitude and really wring out their canopy. peace, "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

A DZ friend noticed the mountains in the background. Funny. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher -
My vote for worst goes to CHICAGO, MIDWAY. Nice cheap flights and you can get in and out quickly but honestly the worst employees. Don't even think about getting food there, the employees will scowl at you for making them work. They're FINALLY going to get rid of those when the tunnel is complete. I've ridden those stupid things a million times. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Hillarious. I can't stand the term "EXTREME" it's stuck on frigging everything. I was talking to someone about skydiving and they go, "So, do you do any other EXTREME sports?" "Huh? Do I need Mountain Dew for that?" "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

A bit more depth, please. Which words are those? That we shouldn't judge each other? That thou shalt be nice to the family of the dead? It's the priest's responsiblity to tell people how it is, not be a grief counselor. It has become custom for them to be exaclty that and that's to the detriment of their position as teachers. Zennister, that's exactly what I mean. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

Ok, so let's pose the hypothetical. Suppose the guy was a real dirt-bag. That he only used the church for social status and the priest knew that there's no way this guy is going to heaven. Is he really obligated to stand up there and tell everyone that he's a swell guy and that God will welcome him with open arms? I think people are too used to the church telling them exactly what they want to hear. "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
