Stupid question time: CReW canopy as all-around, just-off-student main?

A Triathlon Hybrid opens at the same speed as any regular canopy. It does come with the retractable (not collapsible) PC multi-ring configuration but I just have my regular bridle at the single connection point. You don't have to do any more "tricks" than you would with any other canopy. Stick with a 7 cell for CRW, just because that's what everyone else does, so it'll be easier to match canopies. A more experienced CRW-dawg could probably tell you the deeper reasons 7 cells are used. Also, you can get thick A-lines with the Tri Hybrid. Sounds like you didn't approach this very well. You know what kind of background these kids have and you should know that you can't give them the "no you can't" kind of treatment they've gotten their entire life. This kid has been standing up to every "no" she's gotten, what makes you think she'll listen to you? My response, no don't press charges unless she does something that would land her in jail for a very long time. Also, make sure she doesn't have children. I personally think that black is a poor choice on a canopy. It makes it look dingy and it doesn't provide any contrast with your mostly black jumpsuit and rig. Here's my take. Nitingale, hit the Print Screen button, open up "Paint" or whatever art software and paste. Then cut out what you want and paste it in another screen, save as. Good work on trying to do the best for your dog but maybe you shouldn't have gotten him in the first place. I would love to have a dog but being 27 and being a very active person, both with work and otherwise, I know that I don't have the time required to give a dog a good life. Also, animals, especially large dogs, deserve space. I can't stand seeing people who live in the city and own a lab or other large dog. It's cruel that they have to keep the dog locked in their apartment all day and then can only take it on one or two walks a day and maybe a few more over the weekend. That's giving the dog only the minimum amount of exercise it needs to get by. People who own dogs should not be selfish. It's a priveledge to own an animal, not a right. Ask those people why they pack in that fashion and whether it should apply to your canopy. I think you'll find that most of those differences don't matter for you. Go out to jump for the weekend. Then each time you jump ask someone to look over your pack job. Ask them if they would jump it. If they say yes then jump. Pay attention to how it opens, too fast, off heading, whatever...and tell the next person who watches over your packing.
