Well, my question is this: skydiving began long before the word "extreme" starting getting tagged on to every single activity on this planet. I would like to be the father of "EXTREME SKYDIVING". The problem is that skydivers already wear a shitload of tie-dye and neon, things that appear to be prerequisites to the moniker. So, what can we do to change skydiving to EXTREME SKYDIVING! ? Maybe drive an X-Terra to the DZ and call up X-Factor to film jumps. Organize a gnarly load where everyone drinks "the Dew", and geeks the camera with that cocked jaw open mouth grin from Bill and Ted's eXcellent Adventure? eXtreme Peace, "I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

But duuuude, it's eXtreme!! I love the spin-offs: Extreme Ironing (http://www.extremeironing.com) that make fun of it. Do a google search for "extreme" in front of any word. Fishing, running, cooking, weaving...doesn't matter. It just shows how sad it gets. If looking for "extreme sitting" be sure to add "sport" to that list or else you'll be swamped with porno. Don't go to Orange, go to Skydive Virginia. It's better than Cats. I want to go again and again. I live in Arlington. If you take 95 then I think they're about the same or it's negligible. I work near Dulles, and Orange is closer from here. Both are fun places. I jump at Louisa (Skydive Va) because those are the people I know better. My initial statement was to query/voice the opinion of both sides. I CERTAINLY never used the F word! I think people should be able to smoke responsibly but for the love of God, please be downwind. Cigerette butts where kids play on the ground? Yeah, I know kids shouldn't be there but they are. We were having a really intelligent conversation within my DZ about smoking. About parents who knowingly harm their children by smoking in the house, about smokers who are concientious and smoke elsewhere. I don't think it's any big deal.
