How the Founding Fathers intended "Paper Airplanes" to be performed.:
-
The issue with the entire problem and solution conversation is that there is so much political pressure against admitting there's a problem. Since the problem only gets worse if a solution isn't implemented then the people with the "extreme alarmism" thing going on aren't proven wrong yet. Sure you could theorize that we're going to come up with a solution but we have to actually implement something and show we're moving in the right direction quickly enough before the "extreme alarmists" are wrong.

I've heard other Republicans say the same, yet somehow Trump is LESS divisive? In the end after all the accusations, all the investigations that turned up nothing, all the congressional hearings that concluded the same way, all the conspiracies about murders and bribes you'd STILL hear them say, "Well, when there's smoke there's fire!" Yes, from the fires she keeps putting out every time they try to burn her at the stake.
-
Trump can't do a single press conference without bungling the information or it being blatantly obvious that the only reason he knows the content is because his speechwriters put it in his press briefing and they had to make sure he at least read it once before he got on stage.
-
That's awesome. Nevermind that it's probably doing nothing for them.

The thing is that we're making fun of things the guy actually did. The guy has all sorts of video and pictures of him getting way too far into women's personal space and the only way it's forgivable is by saying he's so oblivious. I am voting for him but I see zero reason to hold back. And yes, as a humor thread you have to just shake your head and move on. Humor starts with the smallest of truths and departs reality from there.

Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet:

Oh come on now, he just likes sniffing women's hair. Not weird or creepy at all. When I first saw pictures/video of him doing this I did not get at all how nobody stepped in and told him it's fucking weird and and he needs to get out of people's personal space. It's really something that I considered to be a disqualifier for my vote even though it wasn't overtly sexual assault just obliviously sexist. Anyway, looks like I'm voting for a guy who is really fucking weird and creepy because he didn't understand that smelling women's hair and putting his hands on them is really fucking weird and creepy but it's 2020 folks so here we go.

At the risk of thread drift away from humor. I do think it's funny that this is something that Republicans are well documented as not caring about.

Why are we playing a game of pretend that the point isn't affordability?

Did the American resort to building a meth empire?

It's incredible to think that with all the qualified women in this country he ended up with her.
-
They didn't. Better candidates kept splitting the vote instead of bowing out of the race. 33% wins over 22% / 29% / 18% etc.

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998

No surprise that we saw this "solar cycles" echoes by the usual cast: Brenthutch: -
Red Flag laws are exactly what Republicans asked for when they started calling it a "mental health" issue. They wanted it, they got it.
-
Please. Let's not try to turn election humor memes into real discussions.

I'll agree with her that we're not doing enough. I don't look to an uneducated teenager for the specifics of our policy towards global warming. I'm assuming "extreme alarmism" means she's very loud about us not doing enough but that's why she gets press.
-
That's the crux of attempts to define the language and intent of the 2nd Amendment, it doesn't matter what they wanted or what they meant because there's no law that is exempt from the interests of public health and safety.

I don't think she's a shill. I think it's funny that the response from the people screaming about Greta being a shill is to hire an actual shill. It seems a typical response, blame Democrats/Progressives/TheLeft for something but be incapable of proving it then nominate/elect/promote someone who is or does that actual thing in a provable way (sometimes in court) and defend them until death or dismemberment.

It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it... Oh, thought those were the words to that REM song.

Or maybe that's what the stars are saying?

I think the US has a pre-existing condition regarding the ability to provide healthcare to Americans.

It's just funny that you're trying of make a point using things that were theorized and then proven by individual research and replicated until a scientific consensus was formed but still had detractors for a very long time.

I wonder what the barter exchange rate is on a used AR-15 for a bag of flour.
