It happened during his presidency so it's the Trump Virus, I'm just calling it what it is. It's simply a dumb way for Trump to make it a "me vs. them" issue. The man and his followers don't understand the difference between being right and the best choice. Being right is a pretty low bar because much of being right is just not being wrong and can still be nowhere near the best choice that gets the best results.

Let's remember that the House Intelligence committee was also briefed on the same information. I think we should already know that Trump is the wrong person for making decisions yet our other leaders do nothing and point at him when things go wrong.

There's no way Trump was going to do anything but insert himself into the center of the lights and cameras. I don't thing he lasted a day beyond appointing his "Tzar" and the response team before they were forgotten and he was back up there dictating the response, simultaneously accepting no blame and basically confusing everyone. He's like a moth to fire, a cat to a rolling ball of string.

My question is, why are we even talking about this. We have a Corona Tzar and Program director that should be able to very clearly tell us the roll-out and process instead of having to listen to Trump get defensive every time he opens his mouth.

Nope, Va is a Democratic ruled state, Governor and both State Houses, both US Senators. We voted Hillary over Trump in the election.

I do know that he's playing us. The only way he can interject himself into an issue is to somehow create and "us vs. him" scenario. In this case he did it by calling it a China Flu and defending against that language. Now he doesn't have to get up there and talk about how good or bad of a job he's doing at the helm of this issue (which he previously said Mike Pence was supposed to be doing) he can paint it as himself being the tough brash guy and the liberal media taking China's side against him. It's idiotic. We will need to involve yourself with China to learn how this virus was transferred to people, how it spread in the initial steps and what we can do to stop pandemics in the future. All he's done by calling it the China-Virus is to rub it in their faces and have them slam the door in our faces. We're probably now in a worse situation than we were beforehand because we're forcing them to hide anything from us that Trump can use to blame them. So yes, Trump is right that it came from China and that their initial coverup allowed it to spread outside of their borders. But the thing is that by dealing with it this way, in an accusatory and inflamatory manner, he's only right because he's not wrong and being not wrong isn't good enough when it comes to dealing with things the right way.

There needs to be a VERY serious push towards absentee voting. Much of the voting population should go nowhere near voting stations, even all the way out in November because it's doubtful that a vaccine will be in full rotation by then.

Without reading your link (which is ok because you probably didn't read it either) are you trying to say that you don't need to prove anything. So basically the "non-deniers" have provided the burden of proof that they are right and that we need to take selective steps to stop man made global warming, and the "non-deniers" need to provide the burden of proof that the deniers are wrong.

Religion is a belief you can't back up with physical or scientific evidence. So....your climate change denial is a Religion.
