  8. It truly sucks man that should not happen but on a CRW canopy at terminal! At Atair they are aware of the problem and I am not talking abut Dan I am referring to the person who designs and manufactures all Atair products, Stane. I talked to him extensively at Bridge day and he is designing the successor of the Cobalt as we speak and most of the work is going to be concentrated on the openings. I told him that at some point in time he had a helluva canopy out there that had it all, opening, turn, flare, i.e. the Viper. He too agreed and stayed that he will try to incorporate the best features of all the canopies he has made into this new product. It seems thought that the openings on Cobalts are an intrinsic characteristic of a particular canopy not a trend across sizes; just too weird. By the way I found Stane to be a humble, smart, and very passionate man. Memento Audere Semper 903

  10. I got the cordura and the FF handle. Like the cordura but I am not still sure about the FF handle. The main container is so tight that I cannot tuck it in when it's closed. So I have to tuck the PC and handle in place before I close the lids. Hopefully it will stretch... Memento Audere Semper 903

  14. Well guys I thought it was a blast! Jason and the other organizers did and outstanding job. The weather could have not been better. What a day! I managed three jumps and not a bruise.   15. The short answer is this: After you stop a turn initiated with the toggles the canopy will accelerate and you will be swung forward. During a front riser turn, the canopy will build up speed but when it stops turning it will decellerate. There is also no pendulum effect. So if you fuck up a toggle turn you have less margin to fix the problem than a front riser turn. Bottom line is this: below 1000 feet don't use your toggles to build up speed for a HP landing.   17. Hi, I have a Bruselite 220, one of the newest made. The flare sucks as simple as that and I'm only loading it .77. The only thing is to flare hard between 15-20 feet. Forget two/three/multi stage bullshit flare! Once you are no lower than 15 and no higher than 20 pull those toggles all way down and start hoping. I can stand them up but forget about swooping or soft landings! I got it for the Bridge mainly and some low H&P (2000-3000). If this is your main canopy, well sell it and get a Spectre!   24. Few months back I was looking at weights too. I ended up buying a 20 Lb. SCUBA diving vest. It's made of sturdy neoprane and it has five pockets and much cheeper than the ones made just for skydiving. You can go as low as 4 Lb. to as much as 30 Lb. I got it mainly for increasing my WL. I calculated that 20 Lb. gives me exactly the same WL as going one size down. I use it during RW too given my skinny ass. Memento Audere Semper 903
  25. It reminds me of the Evolution where the 21' bridle was attatched to the slider and the slider brought down the PC on top of the canopy. The Evilution...not to mention the 23 true cells and the absence of stabilizers...The Evilution! Memento Audere Semper 903
